  1. I like the thinking, but... I don't see Mack being available @ 42. I like Unger more anyway, so I hope he'd be targeted (and available) @ 42. Loadholt is truly a load, but he's got issues, such as his inability to play w/ good knee bend, does not have the quickest of feet, and has a tendency to jump offsides a bit (think of a much larger version of Rams OT Alex Barron, who has led the league in penalties). I'd pass on him 'til the later rounds.
  2. Good pick, KD. I kinda figured it would be Britt once Heyward-Bey and Nicks were off the board. They badly need to replace Burress, and this kid may be able to do it.
  3. Arizona selects Duke Robinson, G from Oklahoma Pittsburgh is on the clock.
  4. Maybe the Giants are working on a trade???
  5. Moreno has the talent to be a real stud in the pros. Yeah, they could've used a MLB or DT, but would you take one @ their spot? They can probably get either w/ their pick in Round 2.
  6. Philadelphia selects Chris Wells, RB from Ohio State NY Giants are on the clock.
  7. Philadelphia is on the clock.
  8. Baltimore is on the clock.
  9. Atlanta selects Clint Sintim, LB from Virginia Miami is on the clock.
  10. It may just be me, but I do not consider using a first round pick on a pass rusher (which should be available where we're picking) while using a second round pick on a quality interior OL (which should also be available where we're picking) to be "ignoring the offensive line". The draft is not just one round. Now, if I thought there was enough depth in terms of pass rushers that we could flip that scenario and still land one, I'd be all for it. In years past, I've been leading the charge here in regard to fixing the offensive line woes. I just don't see the Bills being able to adequately address the pass rush after the 11th pick in this draft. While we do not want to "ignore" the O line, we certainly do not want to do the same in regard to the pass rush, do we?
  11. Atlanta is on the clock.
  12. Okay clump, where ya @?
  13. That's okay. We're going to draft 7 O linemen and be right back in the Super Bowl mix, KD.
  14. Philadelphia selects Andre Smith, OT from Alabama Minnesota selects Percy Harvin, WR from Florida New England is on the clock.
  15. I pulled back on the Matthews thingy for Denver, 'cause they had already taken Maybin w/ their first pick. They need a corner badly, and Jenkins also gives them the flexibility to consider him for safety, where they really need help.
  16. Detroit, w/ their 2nd pick in Round 1, selects Brandon Pettigrew, TE from Oklahoma State. Philadelphia is on the clock.
  17. William, please keep the commentary on the draft in this thread. It makes it easier to go through the actual draft thread if there's nothing but picks in it.
  18. Denver selects Malcolm Jenkins, CB from Ohio State. Tampa Bay is on the clock.
  19. Okay. I'd love for the Bills to have a big guy in the middle of their defense that can collapse the pocket and generally cause havoc in the opponents' backfield. Maybe they can bring in a guy like that; a trade of some kind, perhaps? As for Rice, yeah he was okay, but kinda smallish for a D lineman. Smallish DEs that can get upfield don't stand much of a chance in today's NFL... ...Oops. Agreed. When your top pass rushing DL has as many sacks as a LB who is not known for rushing the passer (Mitchell and Denney both had an underwhelming 4 sacks last season), you need to upgrade.
  20. New York selects Jeremy Maclin, WR from Missouri Denver is now on the clock.
  21. Okay, we're back. The Jets are on the clock.
  22. So there's only three people 'round today, eh?
