  1. I guess we'd wonder how you knew.
  2. Rounds 5-7 start this morning @ 11:00am EST. If you are passing any of these rounds or if you have lists of players to submit if you're not going to be available for the time of your pick, PM me.
  3. Rounds 2-4 will start today @ 11:00am EST. I will miss most of today's rounds, so if anyone has any lists to submit or any questions, please notify Ramius.
  4. The free agent draft begins today @ 11:00am EST. The draft is held over in the Sim League subforum. The thread for Round 1 will open a few minutes prior to 11:00am EST.
  5. We just added two more owners, but there's still potentially 3 more spots open if anyone else is interested.
  6. We have a third new owner now. Still a few more openings.
  7. Everyone, though not as many times as Brady. Brady was pick 199 (6th round) while Canty was pick 132 (4th). There's nothing like the "Coulda Shoulda Woulda" game, is there?
  8. It takes up a lot more of my time (as commish and owner of 3 teams) than the other owners. Only during the time of the free agent and rookie drafts (FA draft begins Tuesday) does it take any significant time. If you take over a team, you can relocate, but there are limits. If you're interested and need to know, check out the Rules and Regulations that are listed in our league subforum.
  9. Yeah? Well, they did make mistakes and should be pointed out for such. They aren't perfect. They do make poor choices. Ha ha-they made an error! Now I feel more perfecter.
  10. Two new owners added. Still looking for a few more.
  11. Okay, we've picked up one new owner.
  12. There's no charge for the league.
  13. We are going into our third year of the sim league, and we are looking to get @ least 5 new owners. There may be more, as I'm still waiting to hear back from a few owners: Kyle (owner of Ottawa franchise) Sieve (owner of Toronto franchise) The following teams need new owners for the upcoming season: Brooklyn I have a couple people who have expressed interest in some of these teams, but none have committed so far. Sim leagues work similar to fantasy football, only you have to draft an entire team instead of just skill players. You also have to manage a salary cap, set an offensive and defensive strategy, and come up w/ your team's lineups. The games are simulated and the results posted weekly. For more info on the league, check out our Sim League subforum.
  14. Perhaps, but I've witnessed many instances where Jaworski was every bit as annoying as any other "football outsider" that many deride like Kornheiser or Dennis Miller. Limited to breaking down game film, Jaworski is top notch. Given more air time, he reminds me a lot of Solomon Weelcots: someone who really should talk less.
  15. The BCS is gayyyyy.......
  16. I love that scene from Blazing Saddles. He will be missed. RIP
  17. If they really like their kicker and don't want to lose him, it's not a bad deal. Look @ the cap figure for tagging a kicker as opposed to tagging a wideout. That's the reason Bill Polian tagged Dallas Clark while they were looking to negotiate a long term deal w/ him (which they were able to do).
  18. Man you old timers are harsh.
  19. It could've been worse. One of these "a-holes" could've conjured up an alias just to make you look bad.
  20. I hear ya, though you shouldn't hate. I remember seeing an interview Spike Lee did 'round the time of Malcolm X and he nailed it w/ the comment on how the major studios didn't want to give him any funding for Malcolm, yet gave Dan Aykroyd somewhere in the neighborhood of $50 million to make that crap. Wow.
  21. Well, we didn't get Orakpo. Now we'll never get that elusive Madden trophy.
