  1. You got 'em, minus San Fran. I'm taking a few others as well.
  2. Players like Freeney and Bruuuuuce are more the exception than the rule. It's like saying any CB can run 4.3 40s well into their 30s and even 40s since Darrell Green could do that. That said, I love Graham's production (the # of plays behind the LOS is just freaky!!) and his ability. He flat out dominated during Senior Bowl week. Granted, many of the OTs he faced were better suited to play RT due to lack of great foot speed, but he still took on all comers and fared well.
  3. If the Bills do decide to move from the 9th overall pick, I sure hope it's to move down and acquire more picks.
  4. Jay Ratliff is considered "average"????? Wow.

  7. Check the original post.
  8. Nose tackles are not going to get many stats, as they're there to clog rush lanes and force action away from the middle. They also limit the ILB's dealings w/ the interior O linemen. Getting "stats" like sacks, forced fumbles, INTs, and even tackles aren't easy to do when you have a couple 310lb guys trying to take your head off on every play. But, when they do their job well (Jamal Williams, Kris Jenkins when healthy, Sean Rogers when he feels like it, and guys like Vince Wilfork and Casey Hampton whenever), they are invaluable to a 3-4. In fact, they are THE most vital component of a 3-4 scheme.
  9. Signup thread is now open, so those who are interested can go in and sign up for a team to draft for.
  10. Okay folks, I posted the signup thread and it will open @ 10am. So anyone who is interested in participating in the mock can go sign up for whichever team they would like to draft for after 10am.
  11. This thread is for the purposes of signing up for the 3 round mock draft, set to begin tomorrow @ 10am. I will update this thread to show who has which team. Draft Order: (This is the generic draft order based on final NFL standings. This is NOT just for one particular round!) 1. St. Louis - WVUFootball29 2. Detroit - R. Rich 3. Tampa Bay - Ramius 4. Washington - R. Rich 5. Kansas City - ans4e64 6. Seattle - WVUFootball29 7. Cleveland - Deep2Moulds46 8. Oakland 9. Buffalo - WILL BE DONE BY POLL 10. Jacksonville 11. Chicago 12. Miami 13. 12. Clay SHOULD be in the Hall of Fame right now. His brother....did he get in? Sterling more than likely would've been in Canton were it not for the bulging disk in his neck. The guy had turf toe so bad he couldn't practice one year, and all he did was finish w/ over 100 receptions back in the day when not every other WR was @ or close to 100 receptions. And for most of his Green Bay career, he put up huge numbers w/out Brett Favre, as his neck injury forced him out of football right @ the time Favre started to heat up.
  13. We have a 3 round mock draft set to begin on Tuesday. The first round will be Tuesday, w/ each of the selections having a total of 10 minutes to pick. Rounds 2 and 3 will each have 5 minutes per pick. If we have enough people ready to participate, we'll start Round 1 @ 10am on Tuesday. I will post a signup thread tomorrow morning so that people can sign up for teams to draft for. Like in the past, teams will be given on a first come, first serve basis. And again, the Bills' picks will be done via a poll, so they will not have a mock GM. So, any takers?
  14. You've made a believer out of me. I second that.
  15. Nine wins is not reasonable considering all the upheaval. If not expecting this team w/ all of this stuff going on to win 9 or more games is me displaying a "loser mentality", so be it. I've been accused of far worse.
  16. Considering the switch to a 3-4 defense, the fact that the team isn't really that well equipped for said defense (who's the NT? OLBs who aren't converted DEs w/ zero experience as OLBs in a 3-4?), and issues along the O line and @ QB, just how in the world can we as fans reasonably expect this team to win nine or more games? And, if they finish short of that lofty goal, then the organization (that inherited this mess) is a failure? Wow.
  17. No way. Lee Evans is worth way more than that just by himself. He'd easily command a trio of first round picks.
  18. Wait, I know this one. Lemme see.........Randy Quaid in "Major League", right?
  19. They traded up to get (current NY Jet) Santonio Holmes. Anything's possible, but it doesn't appear to be a Kevin Colbert type move. They can sit there and posisbly get Haden, Wilson, or McCourty. Or, they could end up w/ a guy like Iupati or Davis if there is a run on corners. I think by standing pat, they'll get a player that can help 'em @ one of those spots.
  20. Pittsburgh has bigger issues @ CB and OL and they will probably use their first round pick in one of those directions.
