  1. Sorry. Can't make it. You know what to do, Rock.
  2. Please do. Sounds like something I'd like to try.
  3. That song isn't as catchy as Man in Constant Sorrow. I love how when that song came on at the end of the movie, how Clooney jumped up to the stage and got into it. I also thought that little Wizard of Oz like song the Klansmen were singing before their meeting was catchy. I'll have to use that at my next rally...
  4. You catch on quick.
  5. Another spinach lover, eh? Hey, it's great stuff. Plus, it can be prepared a lot of different ways. When I was in NYC on my birthday, I had a salad w/spinach and scallops (another of my favorite foods) with balsamic vinegar dressing. It was tasty!
  6. I don't know a whole lot about ordering food online, other than stuff like Omaha Steaks, which we've done once before. That's good stuff, but too pricey. My Mother had some buffalo burgers ordered from a place she discovered while in Denver one time, but I can't think of the name of it. As far as stuff around the Baltimore area, I find out a lot of it from co-workers and friends I have here. That's how I found out about G&M. A lady I work with loves their crabcakes and recommended them to my wife and I. We tried them, and they really are the best ones I've had in Baltimore. They're not only very good, but they're HUGE and not too pricey.
  7. What's a garbage plate?
  8. Nice avatar, Lew. I'm no expert, but I think the beef on a weck at Danny's South and at Duff's are both great.
  9. The insurance company posse slots are all filled up, but I hear there's openings in the "Crash (a thread) To Bash (the insurance company) Posse".
  10. The Bills don't cheat.
  11. I hear ya. I usually don't post on weekends, but lately, I've been working a lot of overtime at work, so I post from there. Weekends and nights I'm usually busy doing other things.
  12. What Skip Bayless does in his column and on tv/radio is what some people do here on the board: say things just to incite people and be controversial. It's just as annoying when he does it as when people do it here.
  13. They should ban superstition.
  14. My Mother makes a great leg of lamb! When she lived in S. Jersey, I'd go there around my birthday every year just for that special dinner. We'd even get to go to the Reading Terminal Market in Philly to pick out the lamb. She uses mint jelly, but I don't. Just the way she seasons it is good enough for me. She also makes it with a side of asparagus, and it is delicious!
  15. I don't know if I want Morelli to take over. I'll have to see more of him before saying something like that. Robinson has looked good at QB at times, but he's looked pretty sorry there as well. Much of that, I'm sure, has to do with the fact that he's been shuffled between WR and QB for the past couple seasons. No continuity. Personally, I say leave him at either or WR instead of having him do both sparingly. If Morelli is as good as they thought when they recruited him, he can handle the pressure of being the starter, or at least competing for the starting job. Things are definitely looking up for the Nittany Lions.
  16. Wow. A sidbuff sighting!
  17. I hope this deal works out just so that we won't have to keep speculating like this. Get it over with.
  18. That's up there too, but I do love spinach. There's a diner not far from my house that makes excellent spinach and rice side dishes. Too bad they only offer it on the menu every so often though. What kind of surf n turf do you like? Filet mignon and lobster tail is pretty good.
  19. I've eaten at Timbuktu before. They have good crab cakes, but nowhere near as good as this place! They're the best in the area bar none.
  20. Charlie's Steakhouse sounds a lot like Shula's: a place with overpriced food and it's ala carte. No thanks. My wife and I had a $130.00 bill the first and only time we went there.
  21. My wife likes chocolate a lot too.
  22. You know you don't need a good Offensive line to succeed. Stop bringing that up.
  23. Worse than kim chee?
