  1. That's it. I officially retire.............until the next post.
  2. Sure will be. Check out this forum to see what the latest news on the New Orleans road trip is.
  3. Let me be the first to welcome you to the Wall, Devin. I can vouch for him, folks. He's a good guy who knows his football.
  4. Tough to call, because we'd have no idea how the picks from the 2004 draft would have played @ the time. We also don't know how the changes would affect the outcome of the games, or how the change in the draft picks would affect the teams drafting behind them. It's entertaining, but we can't say w/ any degree of certainty what would happen in these instances.
  5. Cedar Point is the best park for rollercoasters, period. I used to go there just about every summer when I lived in Erie. I haven't been there in quite a few years, and I'd love to go there soon.
  6. They don't actually allow visitors into the part where the chocolate is manufactured. You get to ride a tour ride of the place. Still, it is entertaining and worth a trip.
  7. For another month?
  8. It's a watershed moment in the life of R. Rich. That's the first film that I could watch over and over and over that didn't have a bunch of car chases, fights, shootouts, or other forms of gratuitous violence. It's just full of great acting, as all the principles (Newman, Gleason, Laurie, Scott) received Academy Award nominations for their performances. I guess I had grown up.
  9. What are you talking about? I suck @ pool. Next time we meet, we'll play for money and I'll prove it.
  10. Okay. It'll go in my cue @ Blockbuster online. I still haven't watched The Passion of the Christ, which has been sitting in my house for about 2 months now.
  11. Only 10? Well... Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back Forrest Gump The Contender The Godfather The Godfather Part II The Hustler Pulp Fiction JFK Saturday Night Fever
  12. That Don Cheadle movie from last year, the one he was nominated for an Oscar for. I haven't seen that.
  13. I didn't know you listened to that many Steelers broadcasts, Brandon.
  14. I see it every day, so stop your whining. Myron will be missed, w/ his "Yoy" and "double yoy", and "okle dokle" jibberish.
  15. The league will now be hosted on the Fanball site. The cost to use the Fanball site is $59.95, so our registration fees will now be $31. This will cover the cost of the site, plus the prize money to be awarded to the top 4 finishers. The prize payout will remain the same as last year: 1st place: $100.00 2nd place: $75.00 3rd place: $50.00 4th place: $25.00 Owners can submit their entry fee via check or money order to me @ any time. PM me if you need the address to send the payment to. Once I receive your payment, I'll PM you the league registration info so you can set up your team. Please refer to this thread, which has all the info you'll need in terms of last year's results, this year's draft order, and the players each owner is keeping. These are the teams that have paid their fees for this season: Wu Tang Financial justgivemedamoney
  16. One thing I'm pretty psyched about: my cousin, Tom Dance, is 2nd on the Michigan State depth chart @ strong safety. He was redshirted last year, so this is his freshman season. The guy ahead of him is a sophomore, but neither have any experience. I'm hoping that Tom plays his way into the starting role this season. Tom, like his old (and broken down) cousin R. Rich, is a football and track guy. He ran the 110 hurdles in high school like I did, but Tom won 2 state titles in the event where the best I did was a 4th place finish as a senior. I'm really excited for him. His older brother, Tim, originally went to the University of Buffalo as a WR, and wasn't bad there, either. He has since transferred to a school in Erie, Gannon University. Good luck to both of them.
  17. I have the Athlon and Lindy's guides. Good stuff. There's still a couple more I'll pick up down the road. Anyone else get these mags yet, or any others?
  18. I responded to a couple PMs about this earlier, so I'll just post a message here as an FYI. I am considering moving the league from Yahoo! to either Fanball or a different site where we'd have more control over the league setup and all. Once I have all the information, I'll post it over here, so that all the members of the keeper league can know what's going on. I will try to have it done by the end of this week.
  19. There's a "TBD" league that KzooMike set up last year. I PM'd him to see if he has plans to set it up again this year. If not, then I'll set it up, since there's so much interest in it.
  20. Cool. Okay, you get the "Dad, I just wrecked the car..." weekend. This is going to be fun!
  21. Just one in particular, Jack.
  22. Any you care to share w/ the group, cable?
  23. Horry is very clutch. He should've been co-MVP of the Finals when my Rockets swept the Magic years back (Rockets are still the only team to defend their title w/ a sweep, if I recall correctly). That was a great shot he hit last night.
  24. You're already in the keeper league, Ray, and I haven't yet posted the info for the other league you and I were in. Some spots in that one are reserved for "charter members" (this will be season #5 for that league). Once they've registered their teams, I'll post the info to fill up the remaining spots.
  25. Pretty much. I did the scoring from memory, as I have almost the same setup for each of the leagues I run (about 4).
