  1. For most of his statement (the parts that didn't make the 6 o'clock news), he put the blame squarely on the players. Unfortunately, he couldn't leave well enough alone and took shots @ the fans also. Roenick is actually a very intelligent person who just made a totally stupid remark.
  2. I'm w/ ya there for a few of those, Pete (the ones I've seen and liked are in bold), but Run Lola Run? That was horrible. Also, isn't it Cinema Paradiseo? I can't recall the exact spelling, but I knew what you meant.
  3. Now, just imagine the apocalyptic scene that would occur w/ a Jumanji vs Apollo 13 argument. The horror...
  4. I like the one review of Apollo 13: "....it's no Jumanji, but..."
  5. It's not that difficult to read, actually, and it is worth the extra buck or two they charge.
  6. Legend? Hahaha!!! Hardly. You may yet have your chance. If KzooMike doesn't set up the "TBD" league again, like he did last year, then I'll set one up.
  7. It's way too early to write off the Browns anyway. We'll have to wait and see how the players respond to Crennel and his coaching staff before making any ASSumptions about how good or bad they are.
  8. He's a few decades too late.
  9. Very good questions. I don't think he can be counted on as an every down LB any more, and unless he played for a really small salary, he wouldn't be worth it to come in as a situational pass rusher. The injuries he has are the kind of wear and tear injuries that can quickly spell the end of a LB's career. Bringing him in would be a risk and, considering the instability of the offensive line (LT position) and depth issues elsewhere (TE, CB), I'd have to pass on Boulware.
  10. Are you experienced?
  11. If you have to ask, then you've answered the question yourself.
  12. I get jokes. Anyways, that's not it.
  13. Agreed. You are getting too old.
  14. What's bizarre about Chapin's accident is that reportedly, wearing his seat belt is what killed him (internal injuries from the impact of the seat belt) in that accident. Damn. Who would I say? There's a few: Marvin Gaye (any list would start right there for me) Stevie Ray Vaughan Minnie Ripperton Jimi Hendrix Layne Staley Charlie Parker (I played the alto sax; he was the best ever) Thelonius Monk (same deal, only w/ piano) Bob Marley Peter Tosh Marty Robbins LVB JSB WAM
  15. So, Toy Story, Pocahontas, Seven, and Apollo 13 don't make the cut but Jumanji does, eh? To each his own, indeed.
  16. I wouldn't be shocked to see either group being drooled over by some on this board.
  17. As long as you have enough of the starting positions to fill your team, then yes. In this league, we play defensive players, NOT entire defenses. Just remember to keep enough of the key positions on your bench, such as RB and WR. Because of injuries, you can never have enough of them.
  18. It figures that Phil Steele's would be up there. I bought it for the first time last year, and it is by far the best preview mag on the market. It cost a bit more (approximately $9 compared to the normal $6-$8 or so for the others), but it is worth it. So far, I have Athlon, Lindy's, and Steele's. I'm going to get the Street and Smith's and possibly Sporting News also.
  19. Well, both MSU and OSU may have a hard time w/ Mr. Derrick Williams of Penn State. I'm hoping he has the same impact for PSU that Ginn had last year for the Buckeyes.
  20. Hahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!
  21. Bench players, if I'm not mistaken.
  22. Great news channel. Fair AND balanced.
  23. You dare to think I have ulterior motives? You should know better. I wonder where Brandon is about now...
  24. Go Spurs! Pistons tried their best, and have nothing to be ashamed about.
  25. Only if you take it there.
