  1. Cameraman: Excuse me, ma'am, what do you think or Romney's policies? Black Lady: "Yo, he sucks" Rich
  2. The hope is that we will see the Libertarian Party emerge on the scene. The Fiscal Conservatism that frees up Ideas and Dreamers to thrive, yet at the same time lets two Homersexuals get married and for Women to continue to have the right to choose. The Libertarian Platform will unite the common sense Democrats and Repucblicans who are tired of the two party farce, and create and environent where we can talk about: 1. Is the War Department for "Defense", or Offense 2. Is shifting some Medicare partipcants onto Private Medical Plans really that radical, given that some would prefer it? 3. Why is Government bailing out anybodt, whether it be homeonwers, car compaines, etc? 4. Should Government be backing mortgages, student loans, farms, oil compaines, anybody... and inteferere and skew markets that woudl other wise serve needs 5. Could SS have way less people on the rolls, can it exist as a safety net for the needy, not a national pension program? NOTHING will be fixed in 4 more years, my guess it is wil get worse no matter who gets elected.
  3. Obama will win Ohio, probably Florida. The Auto Bailouts saved alot of skin in that State, I think that will weigh in heavily on that State's results. Romney biggest mistake this election cycle, veering from the no-brainer message: "I want to put you back to work".... that's it, its was simple.... hammer it home... How the ticket and the party got so distracted is beyond me. Edit- If healthcare was already a Rock, I would vote for Gary Johnson.....
  4. I have no problem with giganitic fat kids, they're funny. Too bad they will suck up a tremendous amout of resources later in life and probably bankrupt the country with heathcare outlays, but hey, lets do noting about it. I do find it fascinating that Tomato Paste can pass a vegetable, but a Hummus and Black bean salad is an afront and imposition.... Isn't classifing Tomato Paste a Vegetable the same thing? Here's an idea- why not take a big plot of the turf grass around schools that suck up water, plow it under and plant a garden- student could help plant, tend, harvest, etc.... get them excited about the project, I bet they would be more open to eating from it if they are proud of it.... Just a thought.
  5. then why do we vote in Presidential election? Who not let your representatives do it on your behalf... Like it or not, Romney and Obama represent all Americans....
  6. I guess not now. Not excersing a right that Patriots died to defend is not a good thing, not matter how you deal it out. Its sad that less than 50% of adult eligibles vote.... Romney's job is to convince those people that being dependent on the Government is not a good thing, that it perpetuaties their situation... will he succeed in all cases, most likely not. The problem with this statement by Romney is it reveals the comtempt he and his party have for the poor and struggling..... He had a option, whether it be to crap all over people who are down, out and scared and see the Government as a "fix", or reach these people and persuade that that "opportunity", not Government assistance is the path to prosperity... unfortunately he made his choice and it will cost him dearly. Whether Mitt Romney likes it or not, those loser and scumbag victims are his consistuentcy in this representative Democracy... people give Barrry **** about lack of leadership, well Mitt is a crater on this one...
  7. But your not going to reach the reachable with those kind of comments...
  8. Wow, that lacks empathy like no tomorrow... Not that what he said was totally off base, but not everybody that receives help is a calculated sloth taker... There are a lot of poor and struggling who would prefer not to be broke, but for a varsity of reasons they are in that situation.... This won't make him more likable....
  9. Romney is not strong candidate because I think perceptually Americans don't identify with him.... that just who he is, there is nothing wrong with it, just the reality. The real issue with this campaign is not that Romney is a bad option, its that the American electorate is utter convincing that Government still has the answers, whether they be R or D's.... the fact of the situation is Government needs to be incharge of and presiding over less.... you wil be surpised how much better things get for everybody..... But then what would all the Policticians and Media outlets do if we no longer needed them so desperately?
  10. It comes down to battleground States, and to me, this election comes down to Florida and Ohio. Romney can't win without Florida, and I am not sure talk about Voucherizing Medicare there, during bad times is going to do him more good that harm. As for Ohio, I think it will go Obama because of the Auto Bailouts.. It wil be close, but I just don't see Romney appealing to enough people in the middle to win.
  11. So cuts taxes further, they won't reform anyting of sustance if the record of the last 30 years is any indicator, increase our world miltary, and the Government debt will exceed GDP by leaps and bounds.... Its sad because it doesn't have to be that way...
  12. this is basically Gary Johnson's platform in a nutshell. Produce here, trade with our friendly neighbors for resources, and stay the !@#$ out of the Middle East and stop sending them !@#$ing money... Its a toilet for a reason. let them flush themselves.
  13. But we need to spread freedom and Democracy..... afterall, we know what these people want......
  14. Republicans will make a deal on tax increases if and only if there is no future spending increases, rather reduction in programs that do not work or work poorly. There will have to be concession from both sides of the idelogical side of the aisle... R will have to break tax pledges and D will have to give up on some of the Pet Programs...
  15. The Green Party? Seems to like the Green.... so there you go
  16. Since most people are Middle Class and our Economy is 70% consumer spending, it would be logical to conclude more spendable money in the hands of the masses would produce demand, which would produce sales, which produce demand for hiring, which would make more spenders out there... peolple will argue with me over this, but the fact is simple.. if the middle class doesn't spend, we're in trouble...
  17. I am just glad to hear that you care about another man... lol The underlined, yes, it will come to pass- I certainly can appreciate both positions, but again I lean towards more rights and freedoms than less, and I still don't see how having two men/Women enter into a marriage contract affects my morals, my marriage, or what I teach my children about values. When I hear about preserving "our" values I cringe a bit, because what I hear is "our way or the highway"... to diverse a country for that.
  18. Honestly, I couldn't figure out why the print was so small.... I even tried changing it up top.. I could barely read my !@#$ing response.....lol
  19. My favorite part is anytime the phone rings, that toad mother yells out "booty call".... sheeshhh
  20. why feel sorry for me?
  21. In 25 years people will be able to marry whomever they wish, the fight against it is futile IMHO. Its no different than Civil Right for Blacks, Suffrage for Women or any other Civil Rights issue.... it will happen, might as well get with the concept of freedom and equlity for homosexuals- afterall, isnt that what we are all about i this country? I feel bad for that guy. I can't imagine fighting in the jungle in a losing war, only to have you rights on hold 40 years later by some uptight poltical party..
  22. Christ, go watch the embeded clips in this link... I would embed them but don't know how... You know your country is !@#$ed up when Honey Boo-Boo and her toad family are raking in the viewers more thank a Presidential Election... LOL http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/08/31/honey-boo-boo-ratings-top-republican-national-convention-rnc_n_1846155.html
  23. I assume you meant this for me. Truth be told, I am not asking or advoating the Government to pay for my healthcare. What I do want is the ability to buy insurance regardless of pre-existing condition.... I don't even care if it is rated for risk, I get that, I understand how insurance works even though most people seem to not get it. I have maintained from the start that I advoacte deductible health plans that carry catastrophic insurance. I can pay for my physcial, lab work, Derm exam every year.... what I can't afford is $100K in cancer treatment or 50K ED bills if I am in a car accident. Clear now? If people were able to keep more of their earned money, they could budget more for healthcare expenses.... you can have both, it is possible....
  24. It depends what you define as investing in people. 1. Does it involve just pouring more money into schools that continue to turn out less results? 2. Does it involve the Federal Government subsidizing obscenely expensive University tuition with tax payer moola leaving unsuspecting kids with a hundred thouand in debt, and for most paying loans for life? 3. Are we putting our resources in the right places, or just funding more cream for the system to skim? Again, it is the notion that Government has the "answers" to the these very complex problems that vary by State, City, Locality and Family.... The one like that got me really bent was Michelle Obama's statement that "Barack and I had loans that exceeded out mortgage payment".... seriously, WTF??? That it fine if you believe you will earn $200,000 plus a year, but that frankly is not the reality for a majority of people.... this countries attitide that debt is "ok" is very troubling.
  25. Most people work hard, take are of their business and do the best they know how to succeed. What's important here is the Government is the great central lever that impedes poor people from opportunities (even though I believe policticans often have good intentions), on the flip side is used by the powerful to game the system to their favor. Instead of arguing if the Republicans or Democrats have so called "answers", which they rarely do, why not simplfy the system, pared it down, leave people to their own devices and see what happens? It is really the only angle we have not tried yet in the last 15-20 years... Get out of Wars on Several Fronts. Let people keep more of their money. Simplify the tax code. Stop letting polictians decide where funds go based on favoritism. Let business' that suck at their business fail. Its a start
