No First round bye isn’t over rated. This is the first year in over 10 years where both top seeds lost in the division round. Why? Well Tannahill shoes he truly sucks even with elite talent around him and single handed my lost them the game. Two GB has Aaron Rogers the most in clutch QB ever in the playoffs..

I didn’t want to start THAT conversation again. Besides if I am being honest to soon judge which way he will go. Besides I want him to have what every top 8 team this year had a true #1 WR. Every team had that in the division round. Very True, but Harder find good players drafting 28-32 than say top 10. (Note this is not meaning the bills I mean in general it is just basically harder to hit)

Sad but true for most of the last 7 years. Although last few have gotten a few gems. (Stevenson,Harris, Barmore,Dugger)

Difference is on D IMO for the Rams. If they didn’t bring Avon Miller in to pair with Donald they lose to TB and probably by a lot. Those two wrecked havoc all game. The Bills need IMO that pass Rusher that will real havoc in the backfield as well, not another WR. Scoring wasn’t the issue.. stopping them with 13 seconds left was.

Holding you still have to stop the pass and also have to pray they don’t call PI instead and get a 30 yards down the field play. They don’t blow the play dead for D holding.

For a rookie I considered it a great throw just because he is a rookie.. My point to all the detractors is simple It was the right call and it wasn’t such a poor throw that just “anyone” could have picked it. Hyde showed why he was special.. he’ll all game he was special.. (the punt return as well)

He actually got some pressure early and appeared to be bullying the center but after awhile you could tell the knee was slowing him down.. I mean Allen shedded him like he was nothing and he is a BIG dude.. Baremore, Uche, Dugger (another person playing hurt) are a good young core.. I don’t know if Jackson stays or goes but IMO he isn’t worth top corner money right now but hey if they resign him I’ll cheer for him. I’m more worried about Judon who vanished for so long.. I hope it comes out he was fighting a nagging injury of some kind to explain it.

lol I was talking that game. If I was being fair the secondary was in shambles missing 2 starters and having 2 practice squad guys in.. but the front 7 no idea where they vanished too. It was by far the worst defensive effort I have ever seen by a Pats D in 30 years! And I watched the Pats v Bears SB. Hapless don’t get me wrong I’m happy with the season, and I wasn’t expecting a win but I did expect a better showing by the D. Hapless good luck the rest of the playoffs.. I think it will be tough for Buffalo next week .. but anything can happen.

Lol Barmore was on him but slipped right off. I don’t think that happens if Barmore is healthy. Outside of him on the line I saw zero pressure from anyone else.. the Pats have filed a missing persons report.. wondering where Judon been the last month and a half..

Very true.. It felt, at least to me, like they were going to tie it. you also know it’s an amazing INT when you go “how the heck did he intercept that” instead of going “why the heck did he throw it there.” I don’t think I am wrong in thinking 99% of the time that’s a TD. Hyde just wow..

In Jones defense, he probably didn’t think the safety could get there in time. That was a rookie error in judgement, but not by much, Hyde timing was sick… Hyde IMO played amazing all game he made lots of plays..

My point being, the Pats even if needy at QB that year wouldn’t have drafted Allen. They would have looked elsewhere, they damn sure wouldn’t have traded up to get him. He doesn’t fit the style of O they run. Brady fit that style, as does Jones. Does that mean Jones will ever be as good as Allen? Nope. also Allen fans forget he didn’t blossom truly till they went out and spent on skill WR for year 2.. look at last year where did the Pats spend most of the money? On 2 TE and 2 middle of the road WR. That wouldn’t have worked develop an Allen type.. They also beefed up the O line. (That would IMO help but not having WR WOULD KILL HIM in HIS rookie year.) So basically I’m bashing the GOAT coach and more importantly McDaniels. They wouldn’t have done what was needed to make a QB like Allen succeed. They will get the most out of a Jones style QB.

I completely agree! That was a highlight reel INT. As I said before as a football fan I was like WOW AMAZING! As a Pats fan it was the first of many “what the bleep!!” Of the night.. IMO McDaniels went conservative after that.. which IMO was the opposite of what he should have done. (Next drive 3 straight runs when Jones had thrown rather well on drive one..) after that the wheels came completely off as well another TD.. (by the bills) That said even if the Pats O played as well as they could the best it would have done is MAYBE made the game more competitive.. (maybe 47-30 or something like that) Jones as a rookie is nowhere near ready to go score for score with Allen at his best. He isn’t ready physically and he definitely doesn’t have the weapons to do it as well. but damn that Hyde pick was a thing of beauty.. (now will come the 3 Bills fans to tell me it wasn’t it was all on Jones weak arm. Sad they can’t even take a complement to their best D player right now..)

Maybe, but again not an INT I would be upset at looking at in the locker room as a coach. That was a great D play..

That’s just it I don’t think the Pats would have ever drafted him out of college. It isn’t their kind of QB… more of a knock on my teams coaches than Allen lol.

That was on target and in stride, put a little more on it and it’s overthrown.. Aghalor had like a step in him. It really doesn’t matter lol because it was a great play by Hyde to pick it.. most safeties and CB can’t do that!

Lol that was good! Nah I’m good I went into the game knowing a win was a long shot at best.. now that I am passed the Vance McMahon “Fire them all” on D anger phase.. I’ll just watch the rest of the playoffs relaxed…. Good luck next week Bills!

(Shaking head) you don’t understand that systems develop QBs? You don’t get that building your system to fit your QB is essential for that QB to be good and grow? Allen his rookie year couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn and looked meh at best.. but your Coaches worked around him and helped make the offense work for him. BB and McDaniels System is set they wouldn’t be able adapt it for a rookie that raw.. do you understand what I am saying now?

I will, I don’t think he would have developed with the Patriots like he did with the Bills. That isn’t their style of O. IMO with the Pats system he been a bust..

Gets it there quicker it’s incomplete and overthrown.. he had Agalor in stride and it took an amazing play by Hyde to stop that from being a TD. I just know I won’t kill him for that one, that’s a throw you take 10/10 because 99.9% it’s a TD.

One of the best I have ever seen.. that’s usually a WR stealing it from the CB who had the Easy Pick.. lol there is a reason he is an all pro.. that was all Hyde!

I felt him and Bourne were the only 2 who showed up tonight for the Pats. Good luck next week against either KC or Cincy..

This game has long ago been over! Lol A stronger arm? It was a perfect throw.. it was just a standout play by Hyde. (Agalor was in stride and he literally jumped up to grab it before it hit Agalor hands. Was a WOW play)

Practice? My grandmother would have given the Bills a tougher time.. and she been dead for 20 years!! Lol (sorry that just went threw my head when you said that.. lol)

Allen was on fire all night! I had a little hope when they were getting pressure on the first drive but then he scrambled for like 60 yards on that drive.. The night was over on the very first drive by NE when Hyde made a highlight reel interception. (I was impressed as a football fan and depressed as a Pats fan by it lol) Bills stomped a mud hole in my Pats and well good luck the rest of the way. (This was meant as congratulations, I don’t want to talk about Mac Jones.. you want to tell me the Pats D is garbage I won’t argue after tonight.)
