    We haven't had a big press conference in a few years (since the Mario signing) - so here's a few questions to answer. Most correct answers wins bragging rights:

    Here is my take, for what its worth.

    - Keep playing solid Defense

    - Do just enough on offense, ball control

    - Solid special teams week in and week out

    - Get CJ and Goodwin in space

    - Win the turnover battle

    Yeah, I know thats all football 101 stuff, but this team has the roster top to bottom to do just that every week. If we hit all those checks in the box 80 percent of the time we can hang with the best of them and there is no reason we cant win the division. Minus a top qb (which is huge I know) we have the best roster in the division. So the pats crushed cinci! They always roll over when the spotlight is on them. The Pats dont scare me at all. Get in Bradys face all game!!!!

     

    The Bills have been known to do that too.

     

    With all that being said, the schedule looks very favorable until December if the Bills beat New England. If they don't win, let's hope they don't pull the same old same old; mediocrity throughout the season.

    The NFL could care less about fairness and process (that is why they set up a process which allows Goodell to whatever he wants). Its simply a matter of time til Dead Man Walking Goodell gets thrown under the bus.

     

    Basically what the team owners care about is making the biggest buck possible. The other frontline stakeholder in this is the NFLPA which has now placed itself in the anti-Roger zone by appealing the Rice decision not in defense of Rice but opposing the non-process which allows Roger to punsish him multiple times for the same crime.

     

    Roger got the big buck because when the house falls apart he takes the hit. He is a goner.

     

    I agree. This is a large story not written about. The whole Rice appeal is about the contract the NFL and NFLPA signed and exactly what you stated.

     

     

    If AP did what he was accused of, why can't NFL wait til legal case is adjudicated and then go from there? You know, like they did with the Beast's DWI thing. In the newly reported case, no charges were even filed. Doesn't mean he didn't do it, but at least it would be a somewhat fair repeatable process.

     

    I would hope (yeah I know :doh:) that the NFL would create a repeatable process, but unfortunately with $$ being the #1 issue, this can't happen. Also you know the NFLPA wants a repeatable process, because at the rate they're going there will be a suspension without merit (or indictment) that the league will be held liable for in the future.

    im using an over the air hd antenna this week to get my tv picture. that way there is no cable tv or satellite delay, and then listening to murph on the radio

     

    i refuse to ruin my 3rd victory of the year with another horrible announcer duo.

     

    I think your tv feed will still be behind the radio.

     

    If not, I'm gonna do that too!
