  1. Not saying we should sign him, but anyone know how he graded out with the Bears and Cowgirls the past couple years? Is he worth signing as a one year swing tackle insurance policy?
  2. Like others said, I don't have a problem with the ranking, but it should list Knox instead of Shakir. I think we are somewhere in that 12-20 range. This will obviously improve if Davis takes a step up and Kincaid turns out to be a real weapon. Maybe just wishful thinking, but I feel like there is some real untapped potential with our group.
  3. Very sad. RJ is a big reason I became a hockey fan. His calls were legendary. I can still remember exactly where I was in our little house in Depew when he made the May Day call. R.I.P. Rick.
  4. I like a lot of the 30 for 30 stuff, and the shows are okay fodder for when I'm on the treadmill at the gym or looking up at the screen between sets. Otherwise, I don't see the need for it outside of live sports.
  5. Poor schemes, no decent power RB, lack of a reliable big bodied target and Josh holding it too long/decision making all played a role in this. Let's hope Dorsey and Josh have found solutions to get that goal-line engine humming again.
  6. I'm sure it's been mentioned already, but what a luxury to have a TE pairing of Knox and Kincaid. Think about some of the truly putrid TE tandems we rolled out there during the drought years. 2009 was Shawn Nelson, Stupar, Schouman and Klopfenstein. Yikes.
  7. I haven't been following the offseason or camp too closely. Is this a big loss with regards to tackle depth? I thought Shell was considered someone that could potentially start if needed. How's he looked in comparison to Tommy Doyle? And I would think this bodes well for Gouriage making the team?
  8. Get 'er done, Beane...
  9. I've been to all of them (yes, I know I'm a freak) and the best is this forum right here and it isn't particularly close. I'd argue this might be the best professional sports team message board in the entire country.
  10. I thought Thad Lewis filled in admirably when his number was called, so I'll pick him.
  11. It's got to be someone he's struggled against. Maybe the Jets DC? Bengals?
  12. LOL. WTF. Is this NFL coach's name Rip Van Winkle?
  13. could also be his spleen
  14. Twitter works fine for me. Other than hating Musk, what issues are people running into with Twitter that have made it worse for obtaining Bills news? Just curious since I never really used the platform other than following the links from the training camp report threads here.
  15. Expecting big things from Latavius Murray, eh? 😜
  16. Holy cow! It's like the Beatles' first trip to U.S. soil!
  17. New England stinks, but the Jets and Dolphins will be for real. Buckle up - it's gonna be a hell of a ride.
  18. James has done great work cracking the code of "wokeness" (an odd and pernicious blend of Foucault post-modernism, Black radical feminism and Maoism) but I wonder if he hasn't driven himself a little insane with this stuff over the past few years. It's reached a bit of a religious fervor for him. Still, I'm glad that he gave me an understanding of the oddities I was witnessing with my wife in my own home and put her newly found catchphrases (intersectionality, praxis, radical love, embodied Social Justice, "Liberation", etc.) into a digestible context for me.
  19. Biden will have to prove himself truly incapacitated/demented in debates (which honestly may happen) to lose to Trump. Republicans might lose the presidency for a generation on the abortion debate alone.
  20. The conspiracy theorists really crack me up. Why would anyone want to kill Obama's freaking chef? People drown and/or suffer medical emergencies all the time. Look at what happened to Lebron James' son yesterday at basketball practice.
  21. I basically eat like that and have a six pack at age 44 (obviously not yolked out like the roids athletes though). But I am very active. It's mostly calories in vs. calories out. If you keep those equal, you'll stay in shape. And when you gain a pound or two, just put yourself on a deficit for a few days and it will come off. And I say this as a guy who has been 35-40 pounds overweight at one point and has obese parents and morbidly obese siblings.
  22. Ah man, that really sucks for Hines. Great returner and seems like a good dude. Seems to set up Harty and Cook for more defined roles as returners (Harty) and pass catchers (Cook). And while you never want to lose a guy to a season ending injury, before training camp even begins, is probably the best scenario since you have max time to adjust to the loss.
  23. I think all three QBs are great and nearly interchangeable. It's hard to argue with Mahomes' results, so he deserves the top spot. They've all had to overcome some less than ideal offensive talent deficiencies, but I'd say Josh was the least set up for success from a collective talent standpoint. Mahomes has Reid, Kelce (and had Hill (which are tremendous, almost hard to overstate advantages)), but has never had a great running back and had middling talent at WR last year. Burrow has the best receiving corps in the league, but largely played behind a garbage offensive line until last season. Josh has always played behind mediocre offensive lines and has only had the fortune of one star offensive piece in Diggs. In short, I like all of the QBs and would excitedly take any of them on my team. Mahomes has dominated the narrative so far, but they're all young and we are only about a third of the way through the story.
  24. He makes some points, but at the end of the day, we have a freakish, do everything, Hall-of-Fame quarterback in the prime of his career. Could we still lose the division? Sure, if injuries/bad breaks pile up. But if Allen stays healthy, the Bills make the playoffs, at minimum.
