We are both fans … and want whats best for the Bills and a Superbowl..I respect all your opinions and insights. I enjoy the debate also … it’s all good. I think Hall would take this offense over the top which is what we need this year. I think a 2nd round CB could come in, play and develop .. maybe sign an aging vet like Haden, Rhodes or Peterson. OL in the 3rd potentially WR dependent on who is there and Beanes value at that pick. And just for the record… I do want that Punter Matt Araiza

Are you saying were not? I am saying RB to me is an area of weakness… CB is also an area that needs to be addressed as well as OL.. it depends on Beane’s assessment when the pick comes up. And true they are just rumors but we wont know until the draft.

A few weeks ago…there was trade rumor buzz of oft injured 16 million dollar a year RB Christian McCaffery being traded to the Bills… did you think we would get him for free? Where there is smoke .. there is fire. RB is a concern

He won’t be there at pick 57

Tyreek seeking a trade [Now: Traded to the Dolphins]

But … taking a luxury pick can send a message to certain players that you plan to move on from them and create dissention… but I also agree with your point also -
Just like I felt Allen had a chance to be special pre draft when many pointed to his completion % as a red flag … I feel the same way about Breece Hall in this offense. Yes we do need a CB… it’s a given.. yes we need OLine depth and a potential long term starter… WR is not a need but a luxury pick early for this year. The likelihood Breece Hall will be there at pick 57 are slim… there is a better chance that one of Elam, Gordon, McCreary, Woolen, Bryant or Taylor-Britt will be.

We were possibly taking Etienne last year… it isn’t that far fetched. If Beane likes a player, he will draft him. In the case of Etienne if it was true… he didn’t follow up by taking another running back but Rousseau and then Basham… so it’s how he grades a player out and their value at that pick.

We have a top 5 WR in Diggs, a top 5 TE in Knox and we also now have Howard… good WRs in Davis, McKenzie and now Crowder… adding another top WR in the 1st is overkill and a luxury pick. Our RBs are small and slow…Josh Allen is our best running threat. Singletary ranks as the 25th to 31st best starting RB in most polls. An impact RB with speed, size, blocking and receiving ability makes our offense as a whole dangerous. It makes the WRs better because of the impact and presence he would bring to this offense. I agree CB is a must also…McDuffie would be a steal at pick 25 if he were there. But Breece Hall would make an immediate impact in this offense in many ways.

Matt Barkley Back? (Yep! deal not yet known)

Are you sure we didn’t sign Saquon as our backup QB? -
My perfect 4 round mock draft in my opinion. Maybe a little early for Araiza but rounds 1 and 2 make up for it.

NFL.com CB Draft Profiles Gardiner 6.72 McDuffie 6.70 Stingley Jr 6.50 Booth 6.40 Elam 6.38 Gordon 6.31 McCreary 6.28 Bryant 6.20 Jobe 6.12 Woolen 6.00 Taylor-Britt 5.96 Kendrick 5.96 Emerson 5.80 Gardiner and Stingley will be gone…I would like to come out of Rounds 1 and 2 with either Breece Hall and Gordon or McDuffie and Kenneth Walker (potentially Breece Hall but doubt he falls to pick 57). WR is a luxury pick and not a necessity…we are in win mode.

I think McDuffie could potentially be there…that would make it interesting. Gardiner and Stingley will be gone.
