    Thanks, but I left the indies out on purpose because they're not a major party.... The American Independent Party would actually be part of the right. Folks who label themselves as "Independents" generally wouldn't ally themselves with the AIP.

    History, for one thing.... It happened here before, so some think it can happen here again.... Then there's the rancorous political discourse, and abandonment of civil protocols. IMO, the breakdown in civility better suits anarchy, than anything else. A two-sided civil war is probably too much to hope for.

    Funny, but hardly representative of gay vets... In a dystopian future they would probably need to defend themselves for real. I've met lesbian ex-marines most here would hesitate to tussle with.
