  1. If picking BONES is what you're into, then Taylor is definitely your guy. This kid is a lanky 6'5" 227 pounder. -Ideal, if you're a QB prospect, but for a starting NFL strong safety? Compare that to the 6'0" 210-pound pile of neckless, rippling, muscles commonly referred to as DJ Swearinger. -Intimidating enough as a pure athlete, but then his mad-scientist creator endowed him with killer instincts, a high-output motor, and a SERIOUS apetite for destruction. Consider too, that on paper, Ryan Fitzpatrick (6'2" 225) towers over the diminutive Troy Palomalu (5'10" 207) -But who would your money be on in a physical, or athletic contest? Here's a hint: DON'T TAKE FITZPATRICK! Taylor may have some talent, but he's FAR from a next level game-changer. I take swearinger over that kid ALL DAY. .
  2. Thanks for the recommendation. However, I'd already heard of Cooper, and checked him out on youtube. In the only Richmond game I saw last season, Taylor didn't stand out. Nothing against the Colonial Athletic League, but there's no comparison to the SEC talentwise. To be able to do what DJ Swearinger, and Matt Elam do in the best college football conference there is, requires almost super-human talent. Swearinger is an absolute monster safety. He can't be stopped. He won't be denied. Stand Swearinger next to Taylor, and you'll see that even from a physical standpoint, there's no comparison. And it's not just power. Swearinger plays with the reckless abandon of a young Palomalu. He's Instinctive. Hits hard. -Zero fear. To me, that's the difference between a talented player, and a weapon on the field. Our FO needs to stop looking for kids that fit-in, and hone in on kids who stand out. IMO, DJ Swearinger is definitely one of the latter. .
  3. Bingo. -Quote of the day, as far as I'm concerned.
  4. I could live with Vaccaro, but he's just not physical enough for SS... Swearinger is by far the better athlete, and physical presence. My fave tho, is Devonte Holloman, he projects as LB, but is an easy transition to strong safety IMO.
  5. I'm tellin Ya... Hamilton has hands like a MOFO. Big play potential every time he's on the field. If I could only pick 2 offensive players this year, He'd be one, and Ertz would be the other.
  6. I'm gonna give Marrone 100 points for this one. With a simple move like this he acknowledges the need for a major CULTURE CHANGE in B-lo.. Nice one, Dougie. -What else ya got?
  7. Imagine the pathetic life of the LOSER who trumped up this stupid controversy. -Gotta wonder if a guy like that has any interactions that don't require a password.
  8. At least we can agree on that.
  9. Kevin Kolb's new #1 target!!!!! Color me STOKED!!!!!
  10. Don't get me wrong, I'd absolutely love it if we caught a franchise QB. Unfortunately, the odds of pulling one from this years rookie class seem long. One of the lessons I take away from teams like SF and SEA, is that sometimes the stud signal-caller is the very last piece to fall into place. I'd rather be ready to go at every other position, than to dive at shadows.
  11. Nonsense. -The guy was just illustrating how glad he is to have a damn job. Since you're obviously tight with A. Williams, tell him to save that anger for the Patriots.
  12. LOVE IT x 10,000 Playoffs, B!tches!
  13. You're like a man. Only with lady parts.
  14. Oh, give me a break! If Marrone thinks he can pass off this college sytsem QB as a legit NFL starter, he's got another thing comin'. He's a statue. He's inaccurate. He is NOT a leader. Pump up the guns all you want, son. I've seen the body of work, and I'm not impressedThis kid is going to get pummeled like the red-headed backup that he is. Yah, I said it... 5th round... IN LAST YEARS DRAFT. -You didn't read my entire post, you skimmed through it like you skimmed through Ryan Nassib's career. The trouble is that now you've formed a very incomplete opinion on his readiness for the pro's. Hey, I almost don't care who Buddy Chooses at 8... I'd like it to be Ansah, or BPA, but since Buddy excels at locating fool's gold while letting tremendous opportunities slip away, I'm not holding out much hope. Believe it or not, a part of me hopes you get your guy. At least then you'll be able to see how big of a scrub he is. GO BILLS!
  15. E.J. Manuel and Tyler Wilson are better pro prospects. Both have booming arms, great field vision, and wheels to extend/make plays. I don't care if Ryan Nassib is a "gym rat", -He's a lousy athlete. Granted, I'm not crazy about any of these kids, but with a gun to my head, I take E.J. -and If he's gone, then Tyler (small hands and all) Ryan Nassib lacks the BASIC tools needed to prevail at the next level. One day, if he really works at it, I think he'll make a serviceable backup in the NFL.
  16. Does it matter that he's not the best QB talent available? Round one, or round two, -take your pick. If this was last year, Nassib would still be around in the 5th. I watched the kid play for four years, and his improvement over that time was negligible. If it's one thing Marrone should have learned from Gailey, it's that you don't pin your hopes to a QB, just because he's familiar. You only have six picks. Do the smart thing. -BPA rounds 1 and 2. Go fishing for a project in the late rounds or UDFA. Unlike last year, the dropoff in talent isn't as dramatic between rounds 1 and 3...
  17. Go get Kolb some targets, and some protection. -The guy will be absolutley fine. Chan is gone, and the WORST QB I ever saw play is finally OFF THE TEAM. Is our GM still an idiot? -Absolutely. But our DC is legit, and the worst part of Marrone's offense at the 'cuse was Ryan Nassib's sketchy arm. I'm stoked. Playoffs, B!tches!!!!
  18. Yah, this kid is truly nothing like any of those guys... Lots more intelligence to his game, IMO. Once he finds the hole, he's through it and into the secondary. -Catches nice outta the screen. Pats may be checking him out as a replacement for Woodhead. http://www.nepatriotsdraft.com/2012/12/2013-nfl-draft-potential-patriots-in-the-hawaii-bowl.html
  19. This kid will juke you clean outta your jockstrap. -Got a little "punch" to him too. 4647 career rushing yds at the Frez. 37 TDs, All time rushing leader for this school, and he's a only a junior. Rushed for over a buck NINE TIMES this season. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l_0nQjfSw0A
  20. His name is Cobi Hamilton. Goodness gracious, get a clue, people.
  21. Really, there can only be ONE motto for us this year. And that's DAD-GUM, SON! PUH-LAY-OFFS, B!TCHES
  22. The "Improbable" Dream... The 2013 Buffalo Bills
  23. No offense to the OP, but this mock would be an absolute TRAGEDY if allowed to take place. First of all, Cordarelle Patterson is FAR from the being the best Wideout in this draft. Check out guys like Cobi hamilton, (3rd round) and Quinton Patton (2nd round) or Deandre Hopkins (2nd round) Unlike Patterson, these are more polished route runners. They're also explosively fast with EPIC hands. -People look at Patterson's hightlight reel and sprout a big, rubbery one. -Not me. I've watched in quite a few games, and think all of the aforementioned are BETTER recievers AND better athletes in general. I go Ansah at#8. Maybe grab Hamilton in the second. and take a the best LB available in the third. (Devonte Holloman) If you're wanting a 3-4OLB, Margus Hunt will be available in the 4th-6th, and WILL earn a roster spot. Wanna bolster the run game? -Why not grab Fresno's Robbie Rouse in the 5th, or Miguel Maysonet in the 6th? BOTH should still be there. I wouldn't mind Patterson, but unless we acquire RG3, we're just not a deep-ball team. We need to get back to being faster, and more physical than everyone else.
  24. Oh Yah, like Bargain-Basement Buddy was really gonna go after Flacco this offseason... -Hey, our GM sucks. Accept it. -It's out there and everyone knows it. However, we have a creative DC, and a very appetizing draft (once you delete the QBs) And most importantly, WE DUMPED FITZPATRICK! -YEAH! Brady is getting old, the Jets are in freefall, and as always the Dolphins success is hampered by the bars on Southbeach staying open 'til 4am.... I'm tellin' you, we can have a very "Buddy" draft, and STILL come out with at least three impact players. The wait is over. PUH-LAY-OFFS B!TCHES!
