  1.

I'm very surprised #bills are on the grass field after all the rain. Seen several guys slip. You'd think for lone night they'd be in stadium

From a selfish fan perspective the seating kind of sucked. Too many people for the available seats and at east half of the good seats were reserved (taped off).

    To the bleachers! LOL

  2.

I don't accept bridge by way of description...

How would you better describe it in one word? (b)

    Merriam Webster:

a : a structure carrying a pathway or roadway over a depression or obstacle (such as a river)

a bridge connecting the island to the mainland

b : a time, place, or means of connection or transition

building a bridge between the two cultures

the bridge from war to peace

c : Rockpile: in football, a method of filling a temporary gap between functional talented mediocrity to the leader of a winner

the bridge from Tyrod Taylor to a Jim Kelly

  3. I do not have any. Fat people look terrible with them. If I was skinny, I would consider a Buffalo Bills tattoo

My wife works in an adult home and she says nothing is worse than a wrinkled and distorted tattoo on a former wild child.

I have a snake tattoo on my upper arm that serves no purpose. LOL

    That's convenient: a cheat-sheet tramp stamp.

Put a W on each cheek and you can spell "WOW"

...or you just can roll over and spell MOM or WOW.

  4. As it has been said, NE is two regular season games. Maybe they would keep us out of the AFC Championship game, but two losses should not keep us out of the playoffs.

Like every other dynasty, NE "dynasty" will not last forever.

Back to the topic, there are some interesting ideas, but I cannot say I have a good answer.

Buffalo has to take the responsibility for becoming a winner by itself, not by putting the team somewhere that they do not have to play good teams. :w00t:

  5. Tyrod = 19-0 baby

That is all that matters. If the Bills become winners, nothing else matters.

Fans will have no reason to dissect him.

    dis·sect
    dəˈsekt,dīˈsekt/
    verb
      • analyze (something) in minute detail.
synonyms: analyze, examine, study, scrutinize, pore over, investigate, go over with a fine-tooth comb
  6. do these usually sell out? am i going to see dirtbags selling them on craigslist in a few days? we aren't sure which day we are going yet

There were times in recent years, when I got to a ticket place 30 minutes after they opened and tickets were gone or there was a line out the door.

Like anything in demand, they will go quickly.

I do not know how else they could distribute the free tickets "fairly". :w00t:

  7. Get ready for a crapalanche.

I needed tickets for the Thursday, July 27 at 5:30 p.m.

I signed on to MyOneBuffalo on my PC. No Tickets tab.

I called MyOneBuffalo and they thought I was crazy. They advised trying on a cell phone or tablet.

From my iPad, I tried the app store. No listings under iPad for MyOneBuffalo.

Finally, I tried listings under iPhone and found it. Downloaded it. Hidden in the app under New Era Field (not where Training Camp is) was the application.

I filled it out. It didn't recognize my town of Penfield. It doesn't put "New York" in the State field when you select New York from the drop-down.

I hit Done and it says I have successfully completed my Application. No indication if tickets are being sent to email, hidden in the app, or if I should wait.

AAAAAnd...it's tickets to the wrong date, not Thursday, July 27!

The way I read the schedule, I thought the MyOneBuffalo option was only for August 23rd.

The other games needing tickets were each assigned a different physical pickup location only.

    I could be wrong!

  8. I watched it at a bar. The place was packed and there was no place to sit, so we suffered the first half standing.

At half time, many people left, so we grabbed a nice seat. Even after the second half started with another Oilers touchdown, we stayed put.

Our logic was that if we went home, our spouses would have things for us to do, and we would probably turn on the radio anyway (addiction is a B word).

So we stayed where the chairs were comfortable and the beer was cold, and watched the comeback!

The bar had a legal occupation capacity they were pushing to the limit and we smiled as people lined up outside, trying to get back in.

In my opinion, this game is best appreciated when watched from start to overtime finish. It better illustrates how Buffalo had to go from their lowest to their best, as Houston fans sat there in total disbelief.

  9. I am not going to read through hundreds of replies to check, but I am sure this has been said already.

No offense or criticism is intended or implied.

I just think it shows how far the Bills have fallen, when we are looking at the 2018 draft class in the Spring of 2017.

  10. First I would like to express gratitude for the updates, insight, and engaging discussion that occurs on this TSW. I rely on this website as my primary source of all things bills, and have done so for years. I rarely post, but lurk on almost all threads concerning the latest with the team. That being said, I felt compelled to speak up specifically about the worst aspect of this message board, and most likely all message boards: derision and trolling. It seems that more than half of the posts on TSW are confronted with snide comments and cheap sarcasm, often devolving into a petty flame war. What those involved don't realize, or perhaps don't care to consider, is that it ruins the thread for everyone else. If you see a post that seems stupid or ill-advised, appeal to your better judgment and just ignore it; if it is so, it'll go away on its own. Some fans have radical views. Others are less informed than others. But I have to say that I sigh heavily every time I follow a thread and it stoops to mockery and derision. This is not an anti-bullying campaign or a big ego stroke on my part. I am posting this for selfish reasons, because I don't want to waste my time reading petty arguments, and I am convinced that many feel the same. Not to mention that it discourages discussion, which is why this board exists. How about we all agree we love our woeful Bills and want to see them win. Post stuff that other people would like to read even if they don't agree with it, this message board would be far more pleasant for it. Go BILLS!

It is one thing to be face to face, having a good time, busting chops, etc. You can read body language, hear sarcasm, say something ridiculous or outrageous, and wink.

I also rarely post (except for my annual fundraiser) and I enjoy some of the playful comments, but when the thread "stoops to mockery and derision", I go to another thread or site.

YES, I come here for entertainment and have a very thick skin. My chops have been busted to the breaking point - in good humor!

To my point of view, bad behavior is NOT entertainment.

To SDS and the Moderators, and many who contribute to the Wall, thank you for making this STILL my #1 Bills site. I have been here since day one and do not plan to change.

  11. The main thread is posted at the top of the page but I wanted to add a "post game" comment!

It was 40 degrees with spots of rain but a lot of good came of it.

  13. Special Thanks to Jack for being non-supportive again this year. Love you, Bro!

As of this moment, sponsor total is $1,240! Thanks SO much.

Did a warm up walk today on the treadmill at Planet Fitness.

30 minutes - 1.5 miles. MAN am I out of shape!

Tomorrow the weather forecast at 10:00 AM, when the walk starts, is 40 degrees with showers.

    Like tailgating in November! :w00t:

It is not too late to sponsor me, if you have been procrastinating. :flirt:

I will be sure to get a photo or three for Jack.
