  1. Blake is also corrupt, serving up student-athletes to an agent for cash. Rex relatives and cronies abound, results remain dubious.
  2. Every parent's worst nightmare. I heard her audio driving in my car and completely broke down.
  3. one of my favorite things at the dawn of the internet was realizing i could finally read Larry Fleser again after years in exile. The first columnist to really influence my take on sports. A pros pro, enjoy the good life.
  4. I didn't mean for that to come off as a knock on Johnny U, loved him. I just happened to love Namath's style and swagger, he was refreshing in a conservative, low-flash world of Unitas, Kemp, Starr, etc.
  5. I watched and even though I read the recent Namath biography (a good read, FYI) seeing the story really reminded me of what a huge icon he was in my youth. Simply put, Namath was the coolest football player ever -- took the game from Johnny U crew cuts and black high tops to the modern world.
  6. Exactly -- there are too many embedded local reporters who would have that story before some dude in Virginia, not to mention the high profile insiders at ESPN, etc.
  7. How insane is it that we let Jason Peters go? You can't win when you let elite LT's leave town
  8. Career O-line coach = more running game = Jets are over Sanchez, as if we didn't already know that
  9. You get a gold star -- I love this dirty town... Maybe not a prick, but a bestselling author and TV studio host certainly points the needle toward narcissist
  10. I am shocked by all the love and forgiveness for this mediocrity. You know who else was a nice guy? Not a single head coach with a Superbowl ring. This a business for narcissist pricks with a one track mind.
  11. And coming of that terrible Giants game you could make a case he's not even a great coordinator -- this is an incredibly low sperm count coach signing guaranteed to fit into the new ownership's master plan to relocate the Jags
  12. Meanwhile, we just lost our wide receiver coach -- that's a real loss. You can make a case the WR's were the best developed position on our roster.
  13. Agreed on Easley -- if he can stay healthy, he flashed explosive potential. In a scenario where he stretches the secondary, and we find a way to keep Stevie, that frees the budget to draft/throw crazy money at pass rushers
  14. Yeah, it comes with the territory, I guess. Oh to see the likes of another Andre Reed.
