    The plan has always been to placate the defense-oriented head coach and let Allen improvise and carry the team on his shoulders every game. The problem with that, outside of all the pressure and wear-and-tear it puts on the QB, is that if he is even a little bit off during a game (and he's off today, for sure), they have no chance to win.

    Marv had to deal with way, WAY more egos than McDermott, and he was able to corral all of them and get them go back to the SB again and again after multiple heartbreaks. He was a great coach and great motivator. I would argue he came around at the wrong time. Outside of the 1st SB against NY, they were playing all-time great teams in those games and just got outmatched.

    The writer appeared to misuse the word "mutiny," just by reading his quotes. Infighting amongst teammates is not a mutiny.

    Putting up 35 yards total in the biggest game of the season and then having a childish meltdown on the sideline directed at the franchise QB who's supposedly your friend shouldn't be rebranded as a passionate effort.

    Atlanta has gotten luckier in two night games over a three-week span than the Bills have in like 30+ years.

    This reminds me of the coaching in those classic Pats-Colts matchups 15 years ago, except like the exact opposite of that.

    Atlanta getting that gift and then blowing any bit of hope they had within like 80 seconds of real time gave every fan of a historically loser franchise a PTSD flashback.

    NFC is an underrated entertaining division to watch. Most years all the teams are interchangeable, and they almost never have decent coaching, so you get these wacky games where there are tons of points and mistakes and weird finishes.

    Man, these Falcons throwbacks are phenomenal. One of many teams who had great uniforms before completely ruining them with modern Nike slop.

    One thing that's frustrating is that we're still a finesse team. Thankfully not as much as franchises like Miami, but still soft enough to where winning in a place like Baltimore in the postseason seems like a Herculean task.

    The Bills getting housed in a regular season night game on the road against an AFC rival is a tradition that goes back to the Kelly years. It is what it is.
