  1. Wouldnt be cost effective to cut Zay. Better off holding onto him. Or, if they are dead set on moving him, he might recoup the pick we moved for Coleman. The incident was last off season, Buffalo apparently looked into the matter before acquiring COCO. https://www.google.com/amp/s/cleveland.cbslocal.com/2017/07/27/wr-corey-coleman-confident-legal-issue-behind-him-focused-on-strong-second-season-with-browns/amp/
  2. Which a absolutely happens in almost every major sport with a regime change, you are correct about that. However, when you are shipping out a 15th overall pick for a 2020 7th rounder... I mean, Bills fans were upset about the return for Watkins, a fourth overall, but at least we got a second and a roster player who was very helpful to the secondary (when healthy). The Browns have just hemorrhaged former first rounders religiously. Moreover, its not as if they are so stacked at WR they can move on, and Coleman is under control for at least two more years, three if you pick up the option.
  3. Have to like what we are seeing/reading about Lawson
  4. I'm not taking a plumber's advice on how to fix my electric.
  5. I wouldn't use their fanbase as a gauge
  6. We gain nothing by cutting him at this point.
  7. They play two different positions, Edmunds was also not nearly considered to has as big a learning curve, Edmunds has also truly excelled leaps and bounds. Using Edmunds as a metric in regards to Allen isnt really that sound.
  8. So I'll say it again, how is it that Bills fans are attacking Benjamin, who just spoke about not being happy in his time in Carolina... 1) Their former owner was forced to sell due to sexual misconduct and racial issues. 2) Cam is a bitchy little primadona who also is disrespectful towards women. Cam is extremely self absorbed. Yet, its Bejamin who is in the wrong? GTFO. If anything how do we not have one of our owns back? Is he really wrong in voicing his opinion in regards to how the Panthers treated him?
  9. No we wouldnt. Especially considering the entire draft process you knew Allen was a project who wasnt anticipated to start day one regardless of where he was drafted. As far as the skepticism, now yes, that's anticipated, but not with blind subjectivity. Allen is low hanging fruit to the media, but at least be responsible in the reports and informative. Instead that reporter was lazy and didnt delve into what's really playing out at Bills camp. What ends this real quick, most teams declare that the rookie wont be the starter from the get go. As a matter of fact its more common than not, so you could have saved a lot of time by not blaming McDermott.
  10. Yeah, of course we should go back to ignoring one of the greatest WRs of all time. Literally no one forced you to acknowledge TO in the first place.
  11. The best part about this thread is those acting like Newton isn't a bitchy premodana. Attack your best WR because he was vocal about being unhappy with the Panthers and Newton. Ya know the organization who just had its owner forced to sell due to sexual misconduct and racial slurs.
  12. His first two years on the field were infact productive. No quotes needed. I showed up to camp overweight?
  13. Oh, cool story. No, he doesnt have to stfu because some random fan tells him to. If you dont like that the Bills acquired a guy who had been productive in his career than maybe you stfu and move on.
  14. I feel like a common theme with Josh Allen is well placed to almost perfectly placed "back shoulder" throws! Huge element of a passing attack for a young QB to excell at.
  15. I find a great deal wrong with this statement when it comes to younger players in the league. When I read Rodgers has a tough practice here or there, doesnt matter the man has a body of work that dictates otherwise results on Sunday. However, when a younger player struggles especially in a possible starter role, there is some cause for concern. Mahomes was considered a project and he just might not be fully ready to go, but doesnt really have a choice in KC because they all but tabbed him to be the guy this season.
  16. No he isnt. Tedford is a traditional pro style who tried to incorporate more wide spread, but hes not an air raid guy.
  17. Difference is the Bills gave them selves the ammo to move around in the draft under McDermott and then under Beane. Whaley had no issue potentially giving up futures.
  18. The kid just gets it
  19. I dont want to admit we made the playoffs? Moreover, that team that knows how to win still needed help to make the post season. They were 9-7 with some major blowouts along the way. I also pointed put areas where, as we currently stand have deficiencies. Yet, that doesn't matter one bit.
  20. To me that is not the best form of evaluation. Especially when there has been a growing debate on the importance of pre-season games all together. Moreover, if Allen is going to run strictly with the third team, is that really the supporting cast/situation that will set him up for success?
  21. I thought the deadcap hit would only occur if Zay was cut before June 1st of this upcoming season?
  22. Lmao, yeah one time in 17 years and now we are perennial contenders?!? Gtfo I think this team is obviously trending up, but to assume we are a playoff team with still big question marks around the QB, WR, and O-Line along with the pass rush and having a fairly inexperienced LB core... but yeah playoffs here we come. Be realistic.
  23. And I said we suck when and where? Moreover I've been a member of this board since 2011. So the name and number have zero to do with the playoff drought.
