I noticed a few of you mentioned "if Satan is still around". Is he now a free agent? We should have the cap room to be able to sign him. I would be disappointed in the team management if he was allowed to leave. Although a soft non-physical player, he has a lot of ability at putting the puck in the net. Muckers and grinders you can alway find. Scorers is harder

I heard the revenue sharing slice would be like 1-2 million $$$. If the Sabres can't compete with this CBA, they may as well hang it up.
I thought the league projection of total rev's going down from 2.1 to 1.7 billion $$$ is conservative. I would guess even lower while they struggle to get fans back and other revenue streams

The black ribbon on google UK???

Put food under the tent floor, so raccoons will dig for it all night while you are trying to sleep. My kids did that to me once, it was like a raccoon assault that night

Exactly! Hit the deer, get your car fixed, and drive for another day. You see so many newspaper articles where people swerve, hit a tree, and die. IMO, getting out to check on the animal is another way to get killed, this time by a fellow driver. There was a news story maybe a month ago, where a woman hit a animal, stopped, her 4-5 year old daughter ran out of the car to check on the animal, and was hit and killed by a second car.
Is it my imagination or what, but are there a lot more deer out now than there were, say 20 years ago? 20 years ago it seemed so unusual to see one. Now I see them in my yard eating my shrubs at night

What the hell is this, Russia? Someone has a different opinion so they must have a mental illness?
I have first-hand experience. This isn't hearsay, or a friend of a friend, or something I saw on the net. I know everytime I look out my window, or go swimming, play sports, or just sit on my butt 14 feet away from the TV that the procedure was not just worth it, but an absolute steal at $3K pre-tax dollars. Show me where else you can get something that changes your life (for the better, wiseguys) for that little... and that includes the 62" HDTV.
Yep, everytime I climb behind the wheel of my Japanese car and pop on the Raybans, I know I made the best possible choice (with both!)
Like you, I will speak from my experience. First, contact lenses, as time went on for me the irritation level got unbearable. It was a sad day when I gave them up. Contact lenses gave me the same "halo " effect. My glasses were so thick (double digit di-opter) that my vision through them was not as good as it should be. So I have a halo effect now, but I'm 95% better today than where I was, so I'm very happy with Lasik.
Seems as though the Detroit Lions think it is good too
I've always bought American, but my nexct is going to be Honda/Nissan/Toyota. I just want to try the other side

Some of you people replying about this procedure are ignorant as all HELL!!! You obviously have not had it, or believe yourself to be experts about something you know little of, but feel a need to spout off. Nick, your post is a JOKE!!! No one is clamping and splitting your eye, taking a scalpel, and a **** laser. And if you are in pain after the surgery, something went way wrong.
Fichte is well known in Buffalo. I went to Atwal. I had been to Atwal for up to 20 years before I had the surgery. I googled Atwal and found his name on the Vatican's web-site where the Pope had referred someone to Atwal. It don't get better than that! Your lids are held open to prevent blinking, not to widen it as much as possible. With anesthetic drops, this is not uncomfortabel at all. A "microkeratome" glides across your eye, which pulls the cornea back. You feel nothing but a sensation of something on your eye for no more than 1-2 seconds. Focus on a light as the laser does it's thing, half minute later you are done. After the procedure, the only discomfort you MAY feel is like you have an an eyelash in your eye. Go home, nap a couple hours, wake up and then you will feel nothing. Someone mentioned a halo effect. Yes I have a small amount of that.

Lionel trains, you may want to get it appraised. Lionel over a long time has gone from a toy to a hobby to where it is now an investment. You will be stunned to know the value of what you got. Don't give it away
My jackass cousin offered me $200 for my entire collection, knowing full well it was worth 10x that. Gotta love a relative

Chase Pitkin? I thought they were long gone, at least from Buffalo. Try Home Depot or Sears. Especially Sears can have some sales. Go with gas, and at least an 18". Sometimes there are Sears closeouts really cheap on eBay

I have a 1400 sq ft cape. Hey I have a 45 year old Chrysler furnace gas forced air!! So I can expect to pay $5-6m for a combination furnace/air unit. What are the better brand names, and dependable? Lastly, my 2nd floor has always been warmer in the summer. I do have a lot of insulation, ridge and eave vents. How can you get more air directed upstairs? Are there like auxiliary fans to install in the 2nd floor ductwork? Or what's the best idea?
Maybe 5-10 years ago the gas company was offering no interest loan assistance to upgrade heating systems to something more efficient, to conserve gas usage. They came to my house, checked out the furnace, and said it was TOO efficient to qualify. 43 yr old Chrysler!! When's the last time Chrysler made a furnace? Just before they made mini-vans? LOL

My son went to see JP last night, but I didn't get a chance to talk to him about the show. It's funny, he's 20 and goes to see bands that were popular when I was his age. Last year he saw Deep Purple at the Erie County Fair

A long time back for me, He & She's, After Dark, Barrelhead, McVans, Poor House East. Actually wherever Talas was playing.
Now I like Evolution, Club Paradise, Maccaroons, wherever Hit N Run is playing

I'll only go to a game if the tickets are $5. There has to be major changes in the game and not just financial. What good is it if they finally agreed on a deal and we get the same old garbage hockey that the NHL has been putting on the ice for the last few years? I'll bet even with a salary cap of $32-$35 million and a whole year wasted, ticket prices do not come down more than a buck or two to "appease" what few fans are left. The league is still going to lose money and nothing will ever change. It's pretty hard for me to get excited about NHL hockey after what they have to done to the game.
Agreed! Once a CBA is signed, the players are making $$$, the owners make $$$, and if tickets go from say $55 to $50................so what I'm staying home. If hockey is out a year, there has to be something in it for me too or forget it. In the last year I found new ways to spend $$$ I used to spend on hockey, and I found new things to do too
-
Wasn't the last cap offer by the owners around $42 million? The players really took it on the chin then if it does become $32-35. Not to mention losing a year's salary. How can the union sell that to the players? OUCH!

I met George Lynch at the Guitar Factory @ Southgate Plaza, West Seneca. He was playing that night at a local club. Came to the GF to give a demo on guitar playing. My son takes lessons there. Played for like an hour non-stop as fast as anyone I ever saw, just rippin' on the guitar. Then spent another hour talking, taking questions, giving tips, and hanging out. The guy was really cool, great personality. He must be about 50, same as me. Comes in, takes off his jacket, sleeveless tight shirt, damn the guy was freakin' built for an old man!!! Bills players would be proud to have his body fat, or lack of

Geez, I call it a good day if I just get to Olive Garden. I gotta raise my expectations a little...............

You would think that, but look at TO and a lot of other players complaining now. One year into contracts and they want to renegotiate already.
I too believe if he has a big year in 2005, he'll hold out after that. After all, he is a former Miami U player. They all do that

Of our 3 cars, the one I like the most is by far the oldest, 94 Voyager. Cheap to drive, reliable, utilitarian, who cares where you park it, and best of all my kids bought it an aftermarket ground pounding stereo system. IT ROCKS!!!
