1. With sophisticated electrical/computer problems, the dealer IS the best place. First, they have the equipment, second, they have manufacturer bulletins of various symptoms and repairs that allow technicians to diagnose problems quicker and more accurately. Corner garages cannot compete with this. Try another dealer, and although you paid $80, consider he did spend time on your car whether he repaired it or not.

Here's another help. Try this web-site, it is the best. Go to "ask your questions", and post yours. It will be answered in a day or 2.

  2. Man, is this impressive. Can you see our "mentally tough" squad doing this?

When the Jets scored a touchdown to take a 7-6 lead over New England with 1:55 left in the first half, it marked the fifth time this season that the Patriots faced starting a drive while trailing. On every one of those possessions, they've scored (four touchdowns and one field goal).

So what?? We threw a TD pass to Deion ;)

  3. I'm really going to be in the minority here, but I don't believe G Williams got a fair shot here. Year 1 they gut the roster, year 2 he goes 8-8 (not bad), year 3, his contract year, they draft a #1 who can't play for him that year. If I'm in my last year, I want help NOW! Not a player who will help the next head coach. Of course, the new head coach still wants to stick with TH.

Joe Gibbs, arguably one of the best coaches of all time, and a winner in his new sport too, saw enough talent in the guy to grab him. Gibbs nust know something.

  4. I have a few quibbles with particular points, but overall I think this is a pretty fair assessment of how TD has dealt with the particulars of managing the Bills as a sports team.

All together these assessment of these individual moves pales against the bottomline that the Bills have a huge losing record during his tenure while other teams in the same position as when he came aboard (Carolina for example) have done much better.

However, despite my willingness to fault TD for the bottomline of his results working the sport, I do recognize that this is quite a different question than the one of how does Ralph judge TD\s tptal work as GM.

TD's results have roundly sucked in terms of managing the sport, but as best as I can tell the results are pretty good in managing the Bills as a business. Ultimately it is probably the business bottom line which will detemine whether TD is fired or extended.

Like it or not, I and other fans have sold out 11 straight Bills games despite the horrible record produced under TDs tenure and I would not be surprised if Ralph extends his contract because of this.  The key thing will be Ralph's personal relationship with TD and if TD has done a good job of sucking up to Ralph, the Bills miserable onfield performance may well not result in his getting canned/

    We'll see.

    85587

Exactly. We all judge TD from a W-L record and players. With all the sell-outs at RWS, he has made this club a lot of money, and it is a business first. Only when ticket sales drop will he really be accountable

  5. Don't count on it.  NHL All Star and two time Stanley Cup winner Scott Gomez today signed with the Alaska Aces of the ECHL.  He stated in his press conference he expects to play the season with the team.

    85425

Give me a break! What's Gomez making with these guys? $500/night?? No way signing with these minor league or European clubs can these players even come close to making an NHL contract $$$. It doesn't even make sense. It's like quiting your $50,000/yr job to go to China and make $5/week. These players must have the financial IQ of a hockey puck on its side, ZERO!!

What if he blows out a knee and never plays again?

  6. I was thinking this morning if I had to make a decision to re-new my seasons today, would I? Probably not, unless I split them. I did split them this year, first time I ever did that. I felt bad at first, but as the year goes on it looks like a good decision on my part. After the draft and FA, I just felt we were not improved and could not better last year's record. Now we won't even equal last year's record

  7. Hey Nod, no need to insult the 5th rounders. :-)

In my opinion, the first series in close to the Ravens end zone, MW cost us 4 points when he moved and picked up the 5 yd penalty. We went from being at like the 3 to being at the 8. Also, I believe the expectation with a guy like that is that in short yardage you automatically go over him and get 2 yards. It should be a gimme, except he can't power block. And speed rushers KILL him

  8. BLOCKING

Unfortunately I don't think our O-line matches up well today. And I don't see Drew playing well enough today to overcome this. 23-10, we're 0-4

Figure Miami to lose today, that's a heck of a stevestojan game next Sunday. Actually, that could be a really good game as 2 clubs fight for their best chance to win their first game

I would have liked to see NE-Miami on TV today, but no luck I guess

  9. This was the first year I split my season tix with someone in order to cut the cost of them. $$$ wasn't really much of an issue, but I looked at the off-season moves and thought then that I don't think they're improved from last year. Of course in August I'm sitting there kicking myself because I'm getting Bills fever, why did I sell 1/2 my tix? Turn out my original perception was dead-on and they would/could actually be worse than last year.

Next year I'm really leaning towards cancelling outright, take the money, and it pays for one year's payments on a Honda Shadow Aero motorcycle, and I know I'll enjoy that every day

  10. It sounds really odd but most of the Patriots fans at the game were from...........CANADA. Every Bills home game, there are Canadian fans of whatever team the Bills are playing. They just wear the jersey from the opposing team, get really drunk and cause problems. The few Patriots fans that were from Boston where I was sitting were fairly quiet. Most of them had Steve Grogan throwback jerseys on and those stupid revolutionary war style hats. The people with Patriots jerseys and Red Sox caps on were just begging for a beating but they were quiet as well. Only saw two ejections & no fights at all.

    56090

You may not be far off with that Canada thing, cause 2 guys in my section had Leafs jerseys on, which I though odd. Don't know who they rooted for cause one of them yelled "GO LEAFS GO" :(

  11. Both this game and the opener, Bills fans are REALLY ANGRY at the end of the games, very disgusted with how the team plays, me included

Pats fans...........lot of them at the game yesterday and a real lot in my section, 204. OBNOXIOUS. One guy with a Klecko jersey, and about the same size, would come down to the front of the aisle as the Pats would score and just bait all the Bills fans and try to cause some trouble. Just as bad in the parking lot after the game as they are calling out Bills fans, swearing, and challenging other fans, again just causing stevestojan

  12. I noticed too he was only in for pass protection. Never left the back field. What happened about all this talk using both or a change of pace routine by switching these guys. I wonder if physically Willis is hurting. I thought as preseason wore on his performances got worse.

If he is OK and they are just not using him, then I don't blame the guy if he does want to be traded

  13. With Losman you can really get more productivity out of the QB position.

You get the rollouts and you got a a guy that can wheel. Right now if you get a

broken play with Drew your dead. With J.Ps mobility he will be a asset even on

    a breakdown.

    52097

100% right, I saw that at one of the pre-season games he played. Yes, he can run down field, but even without that he has enough wheels to buy himself more time. D's cannot tee off with him back there because he can avoid the rush. That in itself buys more time for himself. With Bledsoe, D's know where he will always be.

Losman could be the next Todd Collins for all we know, but from what I saw early on, I think he has what it takes & I think next year the team is his

  14. I assume you're talking the black vinyl solar panels the water flows through. I bought a single 2*20 section for my 18' pool. It should work good but my results at least this year weren't great. Why? Not enough sun, too much clouds, and temp's too low this year. My garage roof was too far away so I built a "table" for it next to the pool. I noticed the pressure on my pump doubled once hooked up. If you have to pump it up to the roof it could triple possibly. We'll see how it goes next year

  15. Absolutely....didnt the Sabres have like a 9 year stretch where they sold out every game in the 70's???  The fans are there.

    44454

Put a team like that 70's team on the ice and they would sell out again. Unfortunately, we are not even close to that talent level, and couldn't afford the payroll if we were.

Somebody mentioned the outdoor game...............I thought that was great. I'd have tickets to the Ralph if they had an outdoor game there. What an experience!!

  16. Hey ARG, are you freakin' NUTS?!?! Open your eyes. Special team penalties killed 2 good returns. Bledsoe & Moulds are not rookies, these mistakes are who they are. The "D" caved twice now in the late 4th qtr.

Lastly, I don't know which of your comments is more stupid, "playoff team", or "smashmouth". Must be those power runs the last 2 weeks on short yardage TD situations that gives us all thise points. HAHA!!
