1. Aiken

    Position: WR

    Height: 6-2

    Weight: 204

    Moulds

    Position: WR

    Height: 6-2

    Weight: 225

Anybody think Aiken could put up Moulds's type number in a year or two?

    Just a question?

5 months ago I was 6'1, 225#, similar to Moulds. I could have a heck of a career. Although I don't get much separation on fly patterns. :(

  2. if you want to talk bias talk consumer reports- i can sum it up for you

Asian- CS loves no matter what

US- CS hates no matter what

200% correct!!!!!!!!!! That mag has painted themselves so much into a corner with Jap cars, that for their own slanted credibility they cannot not endorse anything else. I feel for people that are blinded by CR

One thing about all these threads with car comparisons. So many people compare their 2006 Honda/Toyota to their 1985 Ford/GM car and say how wonderful they are. Well compare the same model years, I doubt you'll find much difference.

  3. - Trade W. McGahee for a quality lineman.  At least in his mind, and hopefully around the league, he has some perceived value.  What has he done that Gates couldn't do?  He still doesn't look fast.  He's not a good team player.  He doesn't break tackles.  Even though Willis himself thinks there's a big gap between him and Gates, what has he ever done to show it?  In fact, what has he ever done for us except shout off his big mouth?

Your description of WM........right on! 3 carries, 5 yards, gimme a break

  4. You guys gave me grief about a comment I made about the old adage never buy a car made on a Monday. The reply's were thats an ignorant thought considering paydays are Wednesday or Tuesday or whatever.

I am intereseted in new Ford (a problem in and of itself) but someone I know who lives in the town where the plant is says to me

"everyone I know who works there is a lush"

So I will not worry anymore about a Monday made car. But should I really worry about a new model first run made at a plant full of lushes?

I have nothing against lushes. In fact, I may be one so I don't want to disparge any of them

But should I worry that the Monday theory now applies across the entire production schedule? And will that be made worse by them having to install parts they are not familliar with?

There is also a new model, GMC that I will be looking at but I don't know anyone who lives in the town where that vehicle will be produced so I assume it's a good bet

Think of all the parts that go into a car. Do you really believe all the parts were made on a Monday?

Engineering and Quality practices are exponentially improved, not only from 30 years ago, but even 10 years ago. New models would not concern me, unless it was some radical new technology, ie: hybrid

The "lush" comment is ridiculous, and insulting. It says more about the person you know who said that. I work in manufacturing, but not in automotive

  5. Ummmmm, I don't doubt you on what you say.....however, I worked for the Atlanta Braves, and in 1998, the printer messed up the season tickets with a seating misprint that showed up on every ticket.  They had to be re-done.  I know that first hand as the asst season ticket coordinator

    739120

    That was you guys? <_<

    Just kidding ;)

  6. They said it was the printers fault for the delay.

    738289

BS!!! And the same for the other posts blaming the printer. I work for a ticket printer. Virtually every delay in shipping is the customer. They know when they want tickets, but they stall for months on specification and artwork approval until there are days to go. Finally, at that point a printer gets the package & needs to load artwork electronically, make plates and tooling, get inks, paper, and packaging. Then they need to find production capacity at a point in the year when all kinds of football teams need their tickets too. So now its convenient for the Bills to blame the printer.

  7. I'm starting to think that the Browns are cursed.  Bentley this year, Braylon Edwards tore an ACL last year, the Soulja two years running, "the drive", and not to mention Modell kicking the city of Cleveland in the balls and moving the team to B'More...

We are Bills fans, but it could always be worse.

I wonder what the status of Winslow is? You never see anything on the 'net about him

  8. The problem with all of these players going to arbitration is that I heard the hearings get quite nasty.  Basically, it is the player and the agent sitting on one side, while reps for the club sit on the other side, and the club tells the arbitrator all about the players flaws and why he's not worth X-amount of dollars.  I would imagine that can get a little uncomfortable.

Sounds like the annual review process at the place I work

  9. ... wife has a Ford Explorer ... all of a sudden the vehicle won't shift out of PARK ... no leaks anywhere ... no trannie type problems beforehand ... can move the steering wheel from side to side ... feels like it's "locked" in PARK ... google came up with a "shift interlock solenoid" solution ... thanks ! ... tom

    723707

That's exactly what it is, relatively common. Ford TSB's:

TSB #15030 -- SOME VEHICLES MAY EXHIBIT A TRANSMISSION SHIFTER STUCK IN THE PARK GEAR POSITION.

TSB #01181 -- BRAKE SHIFT INTERLOCK

  10. There are morons out there who drive their cars recklessly or take their ATVs off of 5 foot dirt jumps. People do dumb things all the time. As a "responsible" bike rider who avoids heavy traffic and just likes to go for cruises on the weekends, trust me, a ton of folks do NOT look for bikes on the road.

    707284

As an avid ATV'er, all "sport" quads are all suspension, almost like a trampoline on wheels. Dirt bikes too. You can take some pretty serious jumps no problem. But a "utility" quad, 1-2 feet and you'll feel that one when you land

  11. 2005 Suzuki Hayabusa, which is named after a Japanese bird of prey. The 170-horsepower bike, which weighs 500 pounds fully loaded, it could reach a top speed of 189 mph.

The motorcycle is popular among first-time buyers, said Steve Stiller, a salesman at Northgate Motorcycles in Cranberry, Butler County

    707271

 First time riders are buying a 189mph bike??:lol::lol:

  12. Please be warned....my sister works at the DMV in Buffalo....guess who came in and got a motorcycle liscence in March?

A clue:  it wasn't Kelly Holcomb, Craig Nall, Kliff Kingsbury, Troy Ochs or Marv Levy!

    707105

I got mine in April

No bike yet, and although I'm really itching, just not sure................

  13. Roethlisberger hurt in motorcycle crash

An eyewitness said she saw a motorcycle headed outbound on Second Avenue as a car was coming inbound. The car made a left turn toward the bridge in front of the cyclist. The motorcycle hit the car and the operator flew into the windshield and then hit the ground.

Amazing the idiots that make lefts in front of bikes. Just the other day in WNY
