The problem with all of these players going to arbitration is that I heard the hearings get quite nasty. Basically, it is the player and the agent sitting on one side, while reps for the club sit on the other side, and the club tells the arbitrator all about the players flaws and why he's not worth X-amount of dollars. I would imagine that can get a little uncomfortable.
Sounds like the annual review process at the place I work

I seem to remember getting mine last year within a week of the first preseason game

Some Honda motorcycles are also built in the US

... wife has a Ford Explorer ... all of a sudden the vehicle won't shift out of PARK ... no leaks anywhere ... no trannie type problems beforehand ... can move the steering wheel from side to side ... feels like it's "locked" in PARK ... google came up with a "shift interlock solenoid" solution ... thanks ! ... tom
That's exactly what it is, relatively common. Ford TSB's:
TSB #15030 -- SOME VEHICLES MAY EXHIBIT A TRANSMISSION SHIFTER STUCK IN THE PARK GEAR POSITION.
TSB #01181 -- BRAKE SHIFT INTERLOCK

There are morons out there who drive their cars recklessly or take their ATVs off of 5 foot dirt jumps. People do dumb things all the time. As a "responsible" bike rider who avoids heavy traffic and just likes to go for cruises on the weekends, trust me, a ton of folks do NOT look for bikes on the road.
As an avid ATV'er, all "sport" quads are all suspension, almost like a trampoline on wheels. Dirt bikes too. You can take some pretty serious jumps no problem. But a "utility" quad, 1-2 feet and you'll feel that one when you land

2005 Suzuki Hayabusa, which is named after a Japanese bird of prey. The 170-horsepower bike, which weighs 500 pounds fully loaded, it could reach a top speed of 189 mph.
The motorcycle is popular among first-time buyers, said Steve Stiller, a salesman at Northgate Motorcycles in Cranberry, Butler County
First time riders are buying a 189mph bike??

I got mine in April
No bike yet, and although I'm really itching, just not sure................

Roethlisberger hurt in motorcycle crash
An eyewitness said she saw a motorcycle headed outbound on Second Avenue as a car was coming inbound. The car made a left turn toward the bridge in front of the cyclist. The motorcycle hit the car and the operator flew into the windshield and then hit the ground.
Amazing the idiots that make lefts in front of bikes. Just the other day in WNY

You know there is no helmet law in PA, and Ben R was adamant he was not going to wear one.

y'know, the whole mike williams thing kills me. i'd love to know what went on behind the scenes in the draft room. i wonder who among the bills staff was a nay vote on williams. i wonder if donahoe vetoed criticism and picked the guy. donahoe has a rich history of drafting bad linemen.
but we were all fooled, too. mike lacks what you can't see on tape: desire. the dude just doesn't love the game, and no matter how much he tries, he can't maximize his physical potential. I think that HE is what belichick was referring to when he called the bills oline 'horsesh--' in that book a couple years back.
I was at a draft day party in the Jim Kelly club that day. Place was packed. We drafted MW and later that day traded for Drew B. I tell you the electricity at that party was such that you could make your Bills Super Bowl plans that day. Everyone was HYPED up!!!
Who would have thought that actually it may have been the darkest day in Bills history. Of course the 4 SB losses aside

1984 Chevy Celebrity. Just an incredible amount of repairs, not to mention a Chev dealer that had no morals whatsoever.
Conversely, a 94 Taurus, best car I ever had. Other than maintenance, a $50 repair of broken sway bar links for the life of the car. Totalled at 99,000, I bought a 2002 figuring 8 years newer, it has to be better yet. WRONG!!! I almost wonder if Ford put lots of effort into a really good car (the 94), then after that puts lots of effort into taking out cost, and there goes the really good car (the 2002)

I'll agree on 98-02
Reed was the best WR ever hands down. Long & productive career, and you also have to consider team success over the same time. So what if you put up great #'s and you go 3-13 every year.
A lot of other WR's mentioned in this thread have the same problem. One or 2 great years, short careers like Butler, or the team stunk (Briscoe/Moses). Golden Wheels was just before my time

Tomorrow my 17 year old Samantha is taking her SATs. She is a smart girl and I know she will do well. She wants to go to school in New York, and it saddens me to think that soon she will be going away. It seems like just yesterday she was a sweet curly-haired little toddler. Now she has grown into a lovely young lady who is getting ready to go to her prom and thinking about college. Where does the time go? She is a good kid who doesn't give me any problems (despite the usual annoying teenage things like talking on the phone all the time, being sloppy, etc.) I had so much fun with my children when they were small, those were the happiest years of my life. Those of you with little ones -- treasure these years, because they will be gone before you know it.
Also my 48th birthday is tomorrow. It's hard to believe that in two years I'll be the BIG FIVE OH! When you get to be middle-aged you tend to look back not only at the things you've done, but things you wish you would have done, and it's kind of depressing. But in some countries, many people don't even have the privilege of reaching fifty because of war, disease, hunger, etc.
So even though I am getting old, ancient, decrepit, etc., at least I'M NOT DEAD!
So what! It is just a number. What can you do about it? Nothing!!! 20, 30 and 40 bothered me more, although 60 will suck. I turned 50 a week ago, got my motorcycle permit Friday, something I promised myself at 40. Too many obligations back then, my 2 sons very young at the time. Now one is 21, the other just about 18. My wife and I re-discovered clubs and bars again, and go out every weekend. Many band take pic's and post them on their sites, we're all over a lot of them. It's great and shows you still know how to party. I share them with my "old" friends at work every Monday. I know deep down they're jealous.
As far as kids, well my oldest is out of school, working, but at home
Still, a good person. My youngest just put a twist in my life I never saw coming. Him and his band friends put a demo together, and who would have thought, but a label picked it up. In one month they start a tour of the US, at a bunch of clubs, promoting themselves. I'm not sure I like it, but what an opportunity

V Star or Suzuki, hard to tell? Did you re-jet with the pipes, or do you have EFI?

Why do I sense RW is moving down in the draft so as to move out of having to pay a hefty contract & bonus. With all his crying about $$$ lately, I would suspect he is interested in keeping the club costs down so as to make it more attractive and valuable for a potential buyer
Or maybe I'm too cynical & suspicious

22:
So 2 priests die, and are in front of St Peter at Heaven's Gate. Because they led very holy lives, St Pete is about to let them in when God comes up to them. God says "it's too crowded up here right now to let them in, in a couple days we'll have some room". St P says "well what do I do with them?". God says "grant them any wish they want and send them back for a few days". So the first priest says "I'd love to be as free as an eagle, soaring over the Grand Canyon" POOF!!! He's gone and he's an eagle. The second priest says "For once, I'd love to be a stud!!!" St P says "well that's a very unusual request but OK". POOF!!! He's gone and he's a stud. Couple days later God says to St P to bring the priests back to Heaven. St P says "well it's going to be tough to find them. One guy is flying over the Grand Canyon". God says "what about the second priest?" St P says "even worse, he's in Buffalo in a SNOW TIRE!!

Not sure I understand what you are saying.
Last time I checked Ralph opens his wallet pretty wide when it comes to players over the last decade and change.
Bruce Smith, Jim Kelly, Thurman, Cornellius Benett, Then he paid well to keep Moulds around, Takeo Spikes, Milloy, Adams, Mike Williams (bust or not he was paid)
That was then, this is now
-
I could definitely see that happening. If he is going to own the Bills 1-2 more years, why pay out $$$ now. Let the next owner pay
And to prove all this, look how we've done nothing this off-season with lots of cap room

I wonder what the status of Winslow is? You never see anything on the 'net about him
