Any work rule that prohibits speed is simply aimed toward improving worker safety - through reasonable hours, but who cares about safety right? Niagara Falls, NY is what it is, not because of unions, but because of a lack of leadership (democrats, independents, and republicans). What plagues WNY & Niagara Falls, is political infighting and lack of a strategic vision. Look across the border to our Liberal Canadian friends and you'll see a much better run city. Funny that the biggest boost to Niagara Falls, NY is a business known as Seneca Falls Casino. Unfortunately those who run Niagara Falls, NY do not tax this entity. As for my postion on unions, I am an advocate of cooperatives which are business organizations owned and operated by a group of individuals for their mutual benefit. It's easy to build a road in a place that doesn't have millions of people. I can go out to "podunk" Texas desert and build a 2 mile highway a lot faster. Also true, it's a lot easier when my entire workforce will be undocumented workers who will work longer hours for a very low wage. I love the race to the bottom!

No one said unions are dumb. My friend is a union iron worker. Watching the tv shows around 9/11 about the freedom tower I was struck by all the union workers on that job. The Mohawk Indians are unionized and come down from near the Canadian border to work. The Irish and Italians were born into the iron worker trade as well. I think from a comrodary stand point groups of people band together. If they lose a job because they want a certain price fine, do they have a right to protest, sure. Union quality beats cheapest price. There are 3 things in business: Quality, Price, & Speed, unions offer quality work and on average work faster, they are not the lowest price.

Many economists are beginning to say the U.S. has entered a period of no growth similar to 90s to early 2000s Japan. With private debt still at 240% of GDP and public debt at 200% and climbing. The majority of Americans are deleveraging their household debt. With businesses large and small cutting debt, and govt focused on cutting debt, any attempt by the Govt to encourage spending (stimulus) will only temporarily boost our economy. One economist has put it bluntly: everyone will have to lose in order to gain: government, the public and business. To put it more bluntly govt must reform and lower spending, businesses will need to hire, train and be prepared to pay more - minimum wage must be boosted 50% to drive wages that have stayed level for over 30 years, and Americans all 100% must be prepared to pay more in taxes. Ancillary to what they are proposing is major overhaul of the tax code with point of emphasis being on simlification and modernization, health care costs must be controlled, and energy independence effort similar to "man on the moon" must be enacted. Manufacturing is critical to redevelopment. Infrastructure and transportation modernization is critical. Republicans and Democrats and independents are Americans first. We must work together. Fox News, MSNBC and CNN make more money off of a divided and bickering Government and Public. This cannot be the way forward.

This is like 2002 only instead of a 30 year old Bledsoe someone would be getting a 36 year old Manning . No one will gamble on Manning, they will have to release him. Thats a lot of money to invest in a guy who is that old and has such a serious injury history involving his neck. My bet is they force him to retire or release him. They are dead set on drafting Luck, it's as much a nobrainer as drafting Manning.

I don't think they get a QB until 2013, any QB drafted before the 3rd round would be proof they are questioning the extension. Fitz is not elite but he's gotten better this year, completing 63% of his passes and again tossing over 20 tds and counting. With more receiver help (a guy like AJ Green) Fitz will have an even better 2012. I'd resign Stevie and make a 1st round investment in Michael Floyd or Alshon Jeffrey.

We have the oldest, although fellow 90 something year old Bud "middle finger" Adams is pretty classless or clueless. The only time Ralph speaks is in three sentence sound bytes. The entire 2007 draft is gone, enough said. I like Dareus I'm on the record as being a proponent of AJ Green, but I do think we have a player who can be a Pro-Bowler with good coaching and surrounding cast - not sure IF this will happen.

The idea of throwing these guys out is like invading a country toppiling a dictator and installing another. Until the Bills fans have control over the team like Green Bay's we are screwed. I know we can't do this, but imagine how much better this team would be if we had stability of local ownership and a board of directors than the 93 year old Ralph. God love him but he is inept and is surrounded by incompetent "yes men".
