  1. Ok Allen is off, way off but Dorsey should be settling him down with some decent running plays which he mysteriously abandoned after the penalty. Just plain stupid!
  2. OMG we just got a break!! Its been a long time!
  3. Davis has had at least 5 crucial drops this season.
  4. Bills secondary showing once again text book on how to NOT defend a pass. On the wrong side of the receiver, not getting in the way of the pass and then not knocking out of the receivers hands. Its like they are playing pass defense for the first time in their lives.
  5. Ive heard of "painting the town red" but thats a bit much!! Yikes, I guess you should be packing and wearing a kevlar vest in some of these neighborhoods!
  6. I first went to Detroit back in Feb of 1994, I had never been there before and the experience was mind blowing. I had seen poverty in big cities in the USA before but seeing all the abandoned houses and torched/smashed cars on the street was unbelievable. Had a great trip to the Mexican town restaurant and had the best Mexican food ever there (even better than Mexico). While waiting for our dinner a brawl broke out between 2 groups of people on nearby tables. It was like a movie fight with multiple people squaring off. Until at least 6 or 7 short stocky Latinos barreled out of the kitchen and pushed them all down the stairs and out the door. Bizarre experience! I havent been back since then, would love to know if things have improved especially downtown. My barber who has family there tells me its still a dangerous place to get lost in (especially 8mile etc). Its nice to see that Mexican Town restaurant still exists so if any Bills fans are there tonight check it out!!
  7. Klein should be activated for Sunday as he knows the system already. Edmunds is injured and Klein would be highly motivated to show the Bills they made a mistake not keeping him. Then again this is way too logical!
  8. I liked Klein when he was here and I thought his role was underrated. I think he punched above his weight. Im surprised we got rid of him in the first place. Hopefully he can plug some holes in the run defense.
  9. No practice might be bad or maybe it will be a blessing. We are so nicked up that maybe an extra day off will help. Just dont do any shovelling and avoid sticking your arm in the snowblower to clean it out (Joe Sakic style).
  10. It wasnt the snow........yeah the snow had no effect on the gameplay at all. LOL....Ok
  11. I'm quite relieved this game has been moved. Unlike many of the posters here who thought that 2017 Colts snow game was the coolest thing ever. I thought it was an embarrassment. But I was more worried it would be like the 2007 Bills Browns game in Cleveland where 8 years into the drought we went to Cleveland with the playoffs on the line and played in the worst conditions Ive ever seen for a game. Lost 8-0 and were knocked out of the playoffs. I remember thinking why bother playing this game under such horrendous conditions? It was a terrible product from an already meh Bills team.
  12. Old school football strategy is to just tell your opponents what you are going to do and dare them to stop it. The Bills are in that category of team when it comes to their pass offense. But they are definitely not in that category for power running. The Bills have had such trouble in short yardage and have avoided sneaks up until this year because they know their line just isn't cut out for blowing people up. So why then in that very dangerous situation would they not at least try some sort of disguise to their playcalling. Everybody knew the sneak was coming and the Vikings could have easily stopped them for a safety which would have also been a disaster under the circumstances. Instead (because its the Bills) the worst case scenario happens and they gift the Vikings a TD. They also had the previous experience of Josh getting blown up in the Titans game last year as ample warning of what could go wrong with Josh and the OLine not executing but still they went with the sneak. The fumble is on Josh but the coaches put him in a situation which was iffy at best.
  13. In the end, the old saying goes that you learn way more from your mistakes than your successes. I hope Lewis, Josh and the other Bills who have made embarrassing mistakes in the last two weeks take them to heart and dont repeat them going forward.
  14. There wasnt conclusive evidence that the ball WAS moving before he impacts the ground, that's what irritates me. yet they called it a fumble on the field and after. In the end it was unfortunate that it was a momentum killing fumble but the Bills needed to get past it and they didn't.
  15. Its a great catch but Lewis had a massive assist . If Lewis just leaves it, it sails out of bounds and the Bills win the game. he just wasnt thinking in the moment and it cost us dearly.
  16. Isn't it a similar pattern to the TD throw at end of the KC playoff game last year? Where Allen throws a bullet? But in this case Allen throws a really terrible pass. Was his elbow tweaked on the idiotic attempt to tackle on the INT throw in the 4th quarter? He had thrown some nice passes after that INT but it made me wonder.
  17. Nice to see the fraud Eagles go down to defeat. Give Washington some credit. They were pretty good on all sides of the ball.
  18. He had the ball in his grasp when his elbow touches the ground. In fact its simple physics in action. hitting the ground the way he did caused the fumble, which IS the text book rule in the NFL, the ground cant cause a fumble. The refs blew the call on the field and on the replay.
  19. This whole game was poorly officiated from the start. It started with the booth review that didn't overturn Motor's non fumble and just went from there. Does it surprise me that 12 men are on the field and they missed it? absolutely not. I don't think the refs are bias for or against the Bills but they are incompetent game in and game out. In addition, what is a dubious penalty that gets called in one part of the game (like the DPI on the Bills in the 4th) is not even flagged even when it is flagrant (like in overtime on the 2nd last play Knox drop). No consistency in game or game to game.
  20. I think the last 3 games a warm bowl of Crisco has been served to the entire team and coaches at the half!
  21. The sneak is the right call if a) Allen is 100% and b) you are good at them and its a high % play in your offense and c) if your line is good at blowing up the opposition with their burst out of the snap. Unfortunately all 3 criteria were not true for the Bills yesterday. The Bills line is awful on sneaks. They get blown up all the time in short yardage situations and most of the successful sneaks were on Allen's athletic ability. Finally Allen's elbow is iffy . Why did they ask him to sneak it? he had also been dinged on a foolish tackle on his INT which may have further aggravated his previous injury then that makes the sneak call even more dubious.
  22. Maybe or a sudden gust of intense orchard park wind blow it into Jeffersons hands! Thats the kind of day it was for the Bills.
  23. The Jefferson catch doesnt happen if the Bills Db slaps it out of bounds . The game is over. Its a stupid mistake that is killer. The Bills player actually out jumps Jefferson !
  24. All he had to do was knock it down but instead he goes for the INT and then allows a guy falling backwards with one hand to wrench it from him!
