I'm at a continuing education conference and I am accomplishing nothing because I can't stop refreshing my screen hoping for some GREAT news!

Let me start off by saying I'm an Ole Miss alum, so I had to sit through Lee's offense all year this year. Lee was terrible with our team and to beat all he was terrible in his job before Ole Miss. This hire leaves an awful taste in my mouth.

Personally I feel we are. This season is a let down after such a great start, but we had a lot of injuries this year, more than most teams deal with in 2 years. I'm encouraged with improvement. If Jackson and Johnson are both back next year and we draft well this year, I think we will see a very competitive team take the field next year. And if not, well that's why you drink beer before and during the game.

Every time you are about to give up and walk away you hit that one shot or win that one game that just gives you the hope to come right on back next week or next season. I have renewed faith that with a good draft and some healing up the Bills will have a good chance at the playoffs next year. We have improved since last season and if we improve 3 games in our record next season we could be a ten win team. So just like that improbably chip shot from the rough, the win today has me looking forward to 2012 when the Bills continue to build towards winning the Super Bowl!

Ok well I bet if you go ask Trent or J.P. really nice they will come back and take your 3 for 30 deal. Heck they may take a 3 for 10 deal at this point, then you can hope the cards fall right and we get the 2nd or 3rd best QB in this years class (which we would have to tank from here on out to even have a shot at).

1. I am beyond happy where the Bills are sitting today at the bye. Before the season I would have said 3-3 would be the absolute best case scenario. Well we are sitting at 4-2. 2. Our offense has improved dramatically over the past year. Think about where we were in week 7 last year and look where our offense will be in week 7 this year. If that isn't enough for you think about how good our offense looks inspire of key injuries. 3. Our defense will improve. We are starting multiple rookies on defense and will probably draft several more players for defense again this year. I would not be shocked at all if our first and second round picks this year are spent on defensive players. 4. Our offensive line is proof that miracles happen and in Chan's system they are performing like a pro-bowl line. 5. It's good to hurt as bad as I did after the Giants game. I could not watch or read anything about the NFL for a week I was so sick about the loss. But, it's good to be competitive enough again a loss can make me feel that way. If we were 1-5 or 2-4 right now no loss would have really bothered me. 6. We beat the Patriots, if we can beat them on a the right day why can't I dream of a Superbowl. What if we get paired opposite of the Patriots in the playoffs and someone knocks them off, no other AFC team really scares me that much. AND EVEN IF we have to play the Patriots we know going in that we have a chance. 7. It's just time to have fun, if for some reason this season falls short if we finish 9-7 or 10-6 and miss the playoffs at least we can head in to next year knowing we have a reason to believe again. 8. LASTLY AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, LET'S GO BUFFALO!!!!!!!

Holding hasn't been called much this season on anyone in any game, today in our game was no exception.

We had some injuries on the front today so I won't be as hard on them, but our safeties and corners have to play better coverage.

I would say today has made it obvious that the turnovers are the results of some good fortune on our part. Fitz was far from perfect today, but our defensive secondary would struggle to stop a decent high school team in the pass skeleton.
