  1. It’s a silly take and you’re making a total strawman argument. Of course their are very catchable balls. Dude come on. Of course Clay has made some drops. And Zay. The post says he wants receivers to catch balls that they shouldn’t catch. It’s an effing wild expectation. Just to strawman you back. The NFL is on pace to have over 16,000 passes thrown this regular season. Not making it into the top 100 catches, means that they aren’t in the top 99.5 percentile.
  2. I mean, comparatively we can get an idea to other teams. Assuming the standard for a catchable ball remains the same, the stat has “some value” outside of frequency. It looks like we are right around average.
  3. I am always unsure if people who make this argument know how dumb they sound. So I guess now I’ll ask? What the Bills need is receivers to make catches they wouldn’t be expected to make? And if they had receivers make catches they weren’t expected to make, then our QB would be better? Or maybe, just say...Josh Allen really puts his receivers in tough positions. We can’t expect to have a roster for of ODB’s, but they have to be better than they are now...
  4. Except for that minor Aaron Hernandez killing people thing....
  5. More or less lost over then? Thanks for adding to the conversation. Love watching JA but he’s missing reads and making poor decisions today. It’s a thing that’s happening. Not sure what to tell you.
  6. Feels like the big discrepcency here regarding drops is “could have” caught vs. “should have” caught.
  7. Everybody is hating our receivers for not making tough catches. There have been a bunch of plays where we’ve either had a step or two on the DB, or Allen has thrown it down the sideline into double coverage, but there is has been no whining about that...
  8. I lived in OKC for a few years. The Wild Wings listed on the site isn’t a Bills Backers bar. I tried it a couple times, there were never any Bills can. I tried to start something a bit more “real” at Bricktown Brewy. OK little spot. I used to actually work there too. Got maybe 10-12 people involved. Not sure if they kept it going. If you see Mike or Charles, tell them Justin asked for the volume on. They’ll probably do it. Haha. They’re still there, I was back a few months ago on business.
  9. With our cap space, can we do a Brock like deal. We will take the salaries of Flacco and Bortles for 2 seconds and a third.
  10. He’s an incredibly gifted athlete. That doesn’t mean he is, or is going to be, good or bad at the QB position. Currently he is fun to watch play.
  11. If he were better at throwing the football, McCoy would be having a better season. Allens ability to use his legs is helping his deficiencies passing. His deificiencies passing are hurting the running game.
  12. The OL is pretty bad, exacerbated by poor to inconsistent rookie QB play. Jets had had it right today, don’t let Allen be the best athlete on the field, and make him be the best QB. Josh is late on his throws and takes off because he isn’t quite seeing the field yet. It’s fine, he’s a rookie. But teams will TT him. Make him beat you with his arm.
  13. THIS! Allen tends to throw a bit behind the receiver. He isn't processing the defense quick enough and is late to the throw.
  14. Ill need to go back and look at the play. I’ll trust your eye on that one Kelly. But, just because he’s open doesn’t make it the right read or decision. It is man, cover zero. If the QB picks that up in the pre snap read, there is no way to expect him to ever sit on a route. It’s a miscommunication for sure. That’s fine it happens. There just seems to a lot of finger pointing on this one. If you’re a WR, and you realize you’re in man, you’re not sitting in a soft spot. You’re going to keep moving. You have to. It is a blown coverage from the defense. The right decision from Zay. Wrong pre snap read, and too late to see it from Allen. Allen may have thought Zay should sit, but that’s the wrong decision. Also not to pile on. This play is a good example of Allen’s biggest weekness today. He was late on a TON of throws. He’s not seeing things quick enough. People asking him to find the outlet quicker, aren’t necassarily asking for him to look underneath more. He needs to see it and throw it immediately. He is a lot of fun to watch play the position. But he also has a ton to learn about it. Really hope he gets there because I like watching the dude play
  15. Zay shouldn't sit in man coverage. The staff and receiver are being diplomatic, not the QB.
  16. He was incredibly angry. I’d hate to see what he would have done to her if his buddies didn’t hold him back. He was pretty relentless. That is the most terrifying part.
  17. I don't think so, but maybe, that was months ago. haha. I did not realize what a difficult schedule Pitt has down the back stretch. I take that back...kinda. They go in as the 2 seed is my guess, but don't clinch home field. Unless they lose to Pitt, and Houston (with an easy stretch) wins out.
  18. Harbaugh seems like a dark horse here. Seems like him and his brother would not hesitate to punch somebody in the face just for fun.
  19. I think the 6th seed in the AFC comes in at 10-6. Let’s not forget the chargers are 8-3. Either them or KC takes the 5th seed at 11-5ish Possible...sure. Likely...no
  20. It’s weird that we didn’t talk about how bad the running game or Zay Jones was with Barkley. Just something to think about .
  21. Not sure why everybody is so defensive. Allen did some good things today but it’s OK to question a QB who completes 42% of his passes. This is his third game he’s completed less than 50% of his passes this season
  22. It is to a certain extent. If your parents are olympians, then you’re much more likely to be an Olympian than a child from two parents who are accountants and English teachers. Does it make anything gauranteed, no, but it does mean you have a significant genetic advanatage over the rest of the population. Nobody wins the Olympics with just hard work. Can’t be done without inheriting elite physiology.
  23. I get it, some typos in my original response. Fat fingers. But what am I wrong about? It’s true. There’s are more guys out there with the drive to be elite, than there are guys with elite physiology. Physiology wins 99/100 compared to the rest of the population. And it wins 85/100 at the Olympic/professional level. Or is it that everybody on this message board could have been elite at a sport if only they “wanted to”
  24. Physiology is genetic. It is no surprise. Chances are if your dad and/or mom was an Olympian, you have what it takes to be one too. Why hat is this a question? Its fully an athletic/physiological advantages. Unless your parents have some untapped elite physiology that they didn’t know about, the. The chances of you being an elite athlete are much slimmer than guys who do have those parents
  25. I ran through this, and I honestly don't see NE getting home field advantage. I don't see them getting a bye either. 1. KC 2. Pitt 3. NE 4. Houston 5. Chargers 6. Indy
