  1. The hits keep on coming.
  2. Yeah, if I could avoid Sunday spoilers, I'd do Game Pass and just watch the games the next day... but... I can't because... well life is the internet haha
  3. I think as long as Z. Brown and Spikes stay healthy, we'll be ok without Ragland. I'm way more concerned about Lawson & Lawson being hurt at this point. But, I'n not an expert.
  4. It's kind of interesting... when we take a risk on a high ceiling guy, we're 'wasting picks on risky players'. When we take a high floor, low risk guy, we're 'wasting picks on non stars'. Sounds like we should trade 100% of our picks for vets, if I'm understanding correctly.
  5. I'm in DC, and internet only.
  6. This is where I keep my expectations. Sigh.
  7. I think sitting behind Fitzpatrick for a couple years will prove to be good for him. Just like EJ sitting behind Tyrod. A lot of these QBs get thrown in to the fire a bit too early, I think.
  8. I'm just trying to figure out how to watch Preseason games at an affordable price... really hate that the NFL moved Preaseason games to a $100 package, instead of a $20 package or whatever it used to be.
  9. I'm glad you're around, John.
  10. Glad I wasn't too far off in my recollection of things. I was actually at the Bills v Skins pre-season game where Kolb went down.
  11. My memory is a bit rusty, but wasn't Thad brought in late in the pre-season w/ Leinart, they kept Thad, but stashed him since he hadn't had as much time with the system as Tuel? Tuel then was forced to play, and he sucked, so they brought up Thad?
  12. Question re coaches and GMs. What is everyone's opinion on them? Should a GM get players, ignoring what the coaches want? Should coaches request certain players, or types of players and the GMs go get them? Or what?
  13. I should clarify, that I don't think Whaley is a perfect GM, I just think he's put together our strongest roster(s) since our last playoff appearances, combined with the fact that he's still relatively young, I think it'd be silly to move on from him at this point in time.
  14. Whaley got rid of Fitz? Thanks for the link, I'll browse through.
  15. Not necessarily defending, but at the same time, I don't really remember us having a wide range of options at the time. In fact my biggest issue with 2013 QB handling was the lack of a QB coach, and a rookie OC, to 'develop' a very raw 1st round talent. I thought Thad was traded for?
  16. Honestly, no, I don't have a clear memory of it. I thought the opinions on him were pretty mixed.
  17. I doubt my idea would ever happen for some of the reasons DR outlined. I just think it *could*, if the right parties played nice and wanted to appease fans haha
  18. How so? I forgot to add Leinart too... so for 2013 they brought in a total of 6 QBs. I'm not sure who else was available back then, but are any of the QBs that were available to us currently starting and/or dominating?
  19. We also had Kevin Kolb, Tavaris Jackson, and Thad Lewis in 2013. Not saying they were all great moves, obviously, but I don't think the Bills intention was really ever to sit on Tuel as the backup. (And hell, their intention was to have Kolb start before he went down, over EJ)
  20. How many teams have dominating depth players? I don't really watch other teams, I always figured it was the norm to have a few pro-bowl capable starters, and the depth guys were expected to be 'solid' but nothing spectacular. Is this why we suck? Because we don't have pro-bowl talent for depth?
  21. We'll certainly find out, but I'm not exactly confident in IK, even if he gives full effort, heh.
