  1. May as well start now!

    1) Khalil Mack-LB

    2) Marcus Roberson-CB

    3) CJ Fiedorowicz -TE

    4) Gabe Jackson-OG

    5) Andrew Jackson-ILB

    6) Austin Wentworth-OT

    7) David Fluellen-RB

why would they take a corner early? we had both starters get hurt early. we don't need to replace the position. mclovin and gilmore are the starters and even robey has been very solid as a nickel CB. i agree maybe some later round depth but not a second rounder unless one thy have mega high falls to them.

i like mack quite a bit too but idk if OLB is where we need the most help. i think mosley could be the guy cause he can line up inside and outside even tho id rather he stay inside if they were looking for a pure OLB than mack should be that guy.

this could be a good year to trade back if there wasn't the guy they wanted and they had a good partner. i think getting the extra picks could help a lot cause the positions that look to be needs as of right now aren't really positions id think you draft that early. guard and tight end i can see where they could upgrade. just don't know bout a first round guard even tho last year saw a bunch.

  2. Has his appeal finished? Last I heard this is technically his first nfl strike but he got a bit screwed(not to make excuses). Rumor was a college incident got him in phase one and then his missed test that put him in phase two was while he was in the cfl. If true, it'd be a rough way to potentially lose a full year. Still his fault but rough.

it has to do with when he was with the broncos i believe and was cut but failed a test and never showed up for follow up because he thought he was out of the NFL is what my friend who's a hawks fan told me.

  3. im not expecting them to be big movers in free agency to be honest. id like to see them sign byrd and maybe get some midlevel guys. orakpo and hardy would cost a lot.

Maybe 1 or 2 names from the top 25 will actually be available.

Browner's play dropped this year, but he'd be a good fit for Pettine's defense. I could see the Bills giving him an offer.

browner just got suspended for a year and is a 30 year old corner so he will be 31 when available and not quite sure but might actually be 32 when the season starts for him.

  4. i started a thread about stopping the support for this useless toronto series but it got closed.

this FO is screwing the fan base by doing this. no one there cares and they don't care they steal a game from its season ticket holders.

when will we stand together that this series is nothing but a money grab and stealing our own teams fan base/advantage? you want to botch that they don't pay jairus byrd but steal home games?! this is just typical front office moves! they are screwing tha fan base over and over again!!!!

  5. im not here to say they shouldn't support the team while at home. but seriously this tornto series is dumb as fughak. t only benefits the front office by making more Money via tv deals… but seriously when will you and i stop supporting this terrible deal? they don't care win or lose and steal a home game from us… stop the madness! its terribly ****ty

  6. I don't agree. There are only so many dollars to go around under the cap. If you have capable guys at a good price (Ie Williams, Williams and Searcy) you may consider allocating those dollars elsewhere. I like Byrd and have been in the keep him camp (the whole time). If the numbers got too big those dollars could possibly better used in an area of need.

Part of the reason that the Bills paid Mario what they did us because they did not have anyone that could do what he does. The Bills do have guys that could fill Byrd's role (not quite as well). They have certain areas (ie LG and TE) that need serious upgrading. Would you rather have Byrd, Chandler and Lee Smith or Searcy, Vernon Davis (just an example) and Chandler? Those are the real decisions that front office people make.

you say there is only so many dollars to go around but the bills have more than enough cap space to sign him and still not be in any salary cap problem. and i think they'll draft a TE. the TEs that will be available this year could be had much cheaper than a vernon davis. pettigrew/gresham could be had cheaper . but i think they'd rather draft one. and yes id rather have Byrd-draftpick, vernon davis is a top 3 TE. we wouldn't be able to get a TE of that caliber without spending huge money.

well, since I'm a season ticket holder of this franchise, technically it is MY MONEY that they are spending. But I do agree that my money wants to keep Byrd a Bill

its kind of your money in a sense. but they don't care what you or i think. they make more off TV deals than season ticket holders. if they really cared would they have sold off one of the valuable home games that season ticket holders pay for to toronto? would they charge you fell price for 2 pre season games? i just question the money management of this team over the last 10 or so years.

I like the idea of getting rid of Mario, and Bryd. To much money for guys who don't make enough game changing plays.

and than what? the bills won't spend that money and drop it right in there own pocket if its not spent on players. pay your good players and move forward. draft well and pay your guys.

  7. bills have had more than enough cap to spend on byrd. i don't understand the i don't want to spend Xamount on him he's not worth it ideas. its not your money! and the bill are not in any kind of salary cap jail. this FO needs to sign and keep there own players just ike russ said right right before they let andy levitre walk for nothing. so far it looks like business as usual for this front office. not resigning talent that was drafted here. you can even look at this silly tornoto series as a $$$ move. its been a epic failure for the team on the field and the players express that it sucks. those people don't care if they win or lose. this FO is conducting business as usual.

  8. im shocked someone here wants another corner in the first. we had a bunch of injuries i don't think we need to go CB in the first again. where would you play him after mclovin and gilmore?

and as much as i want a TE i think our OL is gonna need some upgrading LG,RT,RG in that order can be replaced. but a first round pick on a guard is a big investment. wouldn't surprise me to see them go tackle and put him on the right side and try and get guards later in the draft

  9. Chandler is a good Tight End, but I do see a benefit in adding another Tight End.

At the very least, it would give the Bills offense another weapon and would allow Chandler to become more of a threat in the passing game.

Do you think Jenkins is worth a first round pick?

i do. i think he's in a system that didn't favor a lot of action for the TE. but wouldn't be surprised to see him in the second.

one thing about TEs is hard to gauge is i think besides the HOF type guys who can succeed with any qb.i really think that TEs are a position that heavily depends on the scheme/QB. so i think if you know you wanna feature a TE you look for the ones who fit your system. the smaller h-back guys or you go big possession style. and pray you get those guys who are good at blocking and running.

  10. What's your thoughts Seferian-Jenkins?

really like that kid. he just stoned anothny barr when he was ased to stay in and block and his receiving talent is well known. he is a mismatch whenever he lines up. they split him out and no DB can match him physically and if they try and put a LB on him its ugly he just burns them.

  11. honestly i think the bills have to pay a little extra

    1. bills have been nothing but a dumpster fire for the past 14 years.

    2. the taxes involved of how much he'd pay because he's playing here and not in texas-florida is quite a bit of money on a big contract

3.they told him they'd get it done last year and didn't. he knows he holds the chips.

  12. i hope the bills are able to get ben tate/dmc in fee agency if they are not too expensive i think both are different but could compliment CJ very well. DMC might be much better with 10-15 carries a game rather than 25+ where he just gets hurt. tate is a beast and not really suited for that zone blocking style in houston and could be a good change up from CJ too. both are highly doubtful but we can't rely on fred much long sadly. not many 32-33 year old RBs

  13. i like sefarian jenkins out of UW more than the carolina TE but i think we could use another LB mack would be awesome but i think they'd look at CJ mosley first. little bit more versatile can go inside to play with kiko and bump out to lob too. but if i have a choice id like mack in the first and a TE or a guard in the second

  14. You are so wise!

And Leaf and Russell have nothing to do with this situation, not sure why you are bringing it up.

I'm like the biggest Bills' homer, yet I can see both sides. And it's just hilarious how many message board doctors can say a guy is faking (or covered up an injury) when no one connected with the team has.

shhhh you are not allowed to voice that both you can see both sides just shush and keep only agreeing with everyone else. lol ive tried saying both sides are at fault a bit here and people are such homers they cant see that maybe this bills FO deserves a little bit of the blame. i still dont trust this FO yet. they have about 15 years of getting it wrong in a row on the financial side of things and these guys keep guzzling the koolaid like this FO is 100% correct every time.

  15. You must love when a player wants to renegotiate a contract after having a good year?

nope i hate that. i also think byrd far out played his rookie contract

They certainly are honoring the "intent and spirit of the contract".

If a team chose to bench a player in order to hinder them achieving incentive based benchmarks(number of snaps etc).......THAT would be against the "intent and spirit of the contract". Teams cutting players before their contracts expire is fully expected and fully highlighted within their contracts. That is why players attempt to get as much guaranteed money written into their contracts as possible.

i dont think players fully expect nor do i think its highlighted in any contract that they will cut them before the contract is fulfilled.

  16. There is intent and the spirit of the contract. Neither of which is being followed.

teams terminate contracts before the full money is ever paid out all the time. do you question the teams for doing that? they are not honoring the "intent and spirit of the contract" when it works for them they do it.

  17. the eagles are going to love him

unfortunately the bills have to over pay players to keep them i think. with all things considered the amount of taxes they pay in NY the history of losing its just kind of the way it is. if you can have the same contract in florida or texas as you do with buffalo but make less because of the tax situation i think the bills should start coming out the pocket a little more. it sucks but thats the way it is.
