  1. Sorry to ruin this thread by talking about Jeremy Maclin, but I just read a Tweet that the Ravens are in negotiations with the Jets for Eric Decker. Are the Ravens hedging their bet or is Maclin to buffalo a done deal???
  2. Here is a link that would say otherwise http://bleacherreport.com/articles/614051-2011-buffalo-bills-rebuilding-the-bills-year-two-overview (just cut and paste the above link, Thanks)
  3. I have been really pumped up about this hire. I have not felt this way about a Bills head coach in a very long time. McDermott continues to impress. I believe he will get the most out of the players we have. He seems to be a class act all the way.
  4. Yes, gather as many picks as we can. Pull the trigger if moving down in the first round is an option.
  5. There have been many options suggested. Among them are sharing Levi stadium in Santa Clara with the 49ers, San Antonio, and also remodeling Sam Boyd Stadium where the UNLV football team plays their home games.
  6. Not only are Las Vegas residents excited about the Raiders coming to town, their are thousands of Raiders fans already here. People under estimate this city. The city of Las Vegas has 500,000 plus population, but the Las Vegas Valley population is over 2,000,000. Projections estimate that in 5 years the valley will grow to 3,000,000.
  7. Oakland did not give the Raiders much of a choice. As a transplanted Western New Yorker living in Las Vegas, I am all for the NFL in my city. I give a resounding YAY!!!!!!!!!
  8. That is a tough one. Nate Clements was better in Buffalo, but he did not do as well with the 49ers or Bengals. Nate was more consistent with the Bills. Gilmore has the opportunity to surpass Clements with superior coaching in New England.
  9. Along with their new coach, upgraded training facilities , and the new stadium, they should be able to improve their recruiting.
  10. I can understand that it may look like I have been drinking too much Las Vegas kool aid, But there has been discussion that with a world class stadium that UNLV may be invited to join the PAC 12. This has come from multiple sources
  11. Try hitting the snooze button on your alarm. You could use a few more minutes of sleep.
  12. I moved to Las Vegas in 2001. Since then, I have seen that this town has been starved for professional sports. There are many transplanted Californians in Las Vegas that are excited about the Raiders moving to Las Vegas. Also, with this being a destination city, visiting fans will make a pilgrimage here to see their favorite team play. What would cause a team to fail? The Raiders had very bad attendance in recent years until they started winning. The 49ers attendance has been abysmal. Jacksonville has had poor attendance. With the TV revenue and other income streams, attendance is a secondary factor in the success of an NFL franchise. The only reason teams are moving now is because they can not get public financing for a new stadium Las Vegas set a record for the amount of public financing provided by the home city. $750,000,000. Local reporters are hailing this as the biggest thing to ever hit the city of Las Vegas. UNLV will benefit by playing in a world class stadium and may be able to eventually move to a power 5 conference. Not to mention that every Friday there is a steady stream of Californians clogging westbound Interstate15 from Los Angeles. Many of which are Raider fans. Many locals are transplants and have loyalties with teams in their previous home towns are so excited and state that the Raiders are now their second favorite team. NASCAR just awarded this city a 2nd annual race because the spring race is now one of the most profitable and well attended race on their schedule. As a sidebar, a local ESPN affiliate was figuring the 2020 Raiders schedule and thinks that the Bills could be playing a game in Vegas that year. The Las Vegas Raiders will not only succeed, they may become the new "America's Team" You can bet on it!
  13. For what it's worth, on his Wikipedia page, it show Buffalo bills 2017 -.
  14. I agree with the philosophy of building a team from the lines out, but the offensive and defensive lines are two of the Bills strongest units. I would go WR with #1 and secondary with picks #2 and #3.
  15. This topic has been rehashed sooooo many times since the end of the season. Please STOP!!!!!
  16. Great News!! With the restructuring, it is the scenario I was hoping for. Now who is going to be the back up???
  17. Restructuring the contract and keeping TT is the smartest move the Bills management could make. Now they are free to concentrate on other needs through the draft and free agency. At least all this drama is behind us!
  18. I enjoyed Marshall on Inside the NFL. He seemed to really give detailed insights to the game. He was very critical of his team's (bears and Jets).
  19. Cap space is a real issue. I get the feeling the Bills will dump some high priced player to give us more cap room. Darius and/ or Shady seem to be the most likely cap casualties. By the way, welcome to the stadium wall.
