  1. Luck also threw 235 balls further than 10 yards compared to Fitz's 146, threw for almost 1000 yards more, had a 4:1 TD:INT ratio and 92.3 rating when up or down 7 or fewer points in the 4th quarter compared to Fitz's 1:4 ratio with a 55.5 rating in the same situation. Oh, and Luck led a 2-14 team to the playoffs in his rookie season. Nice comparison. This. And this.
  2. Well, it seems the Bills FO agreed, or he'd still be a Bill. I didn't hate Fitz the man, just Fitz the QB. And yes, it was a deep hatred. If Fitz won games, I would have loved him. But I was never convinced he ever could and he proved me right. You guys never understood that I wanted him to succeed. Badly. However I knew he would not. As for he next QB, his performance will be the deciding factor. Yeah. Bradford sucks too. I'd still take him over Fitz, but he sucks.
  3. Wow. We have gone from Ryan Pickspatrick to full panic. Trade one of our better defenders on a lousy defense to move up? Insanity. No doubt we need to address the QB position. No doubt we need to select one in this draft. But there is no way we should be trading anyone or anything to move up this year. Last year, I stated that we should move up for RGIII and got BLASTED on this board. He is a talent worth trading up for. I say let the cards fall as they may and if they feel they can get a franchise guy at 8, take him. If not, if it's a reach just to fill the QB slot, then pick the BPA. Don't trade up, especially when teams KNOW how desperate you are to get a QB, which puts us bargaining from a position of weakness from the get-go. I have been one of the most outspoken board members about the QB being the most important position on the team. I'd just hate to hand the keys to someone simply because, despite being a crappy driver, he's the only kid with a license. We've seen what a Losman-like panic can do for a team. If they truly feel Smith is the man and he falls to them, by all means, pull the trigger.
  4. That's your problem. You're comparing crap to crap. Open your eyes to what a "good" QB does in the rest of the league and judge our QBs based on that, rather than "He's better than Edwards, Holcomb or Losman." That's hardly a ringing endorsement for competence.
  5. Yeah, because 3000 yards and 20 TDs is the new standard of greatness in today's NFL.
  6. Well Miami had better win now, because they will be in cap hell next year. This. A good QB instantly fills a lot of holes on a team.
  7. Don't forget getting rid of Pickspatrick.
  8. Wow. The sky is falling because we let a back up OG walk in FA? We are two days in....relax. The Eagles and Redskins have proven that "winning" FA may sell tickets, but it doesn't always equate to winning games. I'll remain cautiously optimistic and see how this all plays out.
  9. As Meathead would say: he's gone. deal wid it.
  10. Right back atcha.
  11. A great day for all Billievers.
  12. I am celebrating tonight with copius amounts of alcohol. Great day to be a Bills' fan.
  13. I don't think he looks bad in this...as said ad nauseum in this thread, he hasn't said anything that hasn't been said here already. Personally, I felt a glimmer of hope as he addressed the Fitz situation.
  14. Just a question: Don't the phones at OBD have call display?
  15. Fellas, our own GM thinks he's a handcuff: http://deadspin.com/...dium=socialflow "We're still struggling here with our quarterback...We're not really struggling--he's going to have to do something, or we'll have to." "We just can't afford to pay that kind of money for a guy who's fighting for probably a backup job."
  16. OK, to paraphrase your position, you are saying that because there might be a break in the pipeline, it should be scrapped? By your flawed logic, people should not drive because they might be in an accident, should not fly because it might crash and should not own a water heater because it might turn into a missile if it overheats. Sure. Got it.
  17. Honestly, I find it humourous that this debate even happens. It's like three dog owners standing around debating which dog has the best looking pile of sh*t in the back yard. No matter what angle you approach it from, it's still a pile of dog sh*t. I suppose it's all relative. If your life revolves around looking at that pile of sh*t every day, you're bound to have an opinion on it.
  18. Close to winning games....now if only we could trade football for **** fights or throwing hand grenades, we'd be awesome.
  19. And now the Niners get Boldin. Wow.
  20. We traded him to Seattle after picking CJ.
  21. Actually, I've heard it from many others before you. And I'm curious, in what post did I say it's all his fault? Check my history, I'll wait. As for the playoffs, I'd love if you were right. Unfortunately you're not.
