I wait until FA is over before paying attention to them.

IF the Bills did trade down, Who would you like?
Nitro replied to Victory Formation's topic in The Stadium Wall
I concur with these options. -
Per Shefty - Bills “expected to lose” Poyer and Edmunds

Having him play out of position did him ho favors. Fascinating is how people outside of Buffalo view him. I was at the Chicago game and the fans next to us said they were hoping to get him in the off season. Where ever he goes, I wish him the best. I think he is ready to become a dominant player. -

Losing both in the short term will hurt. The Edmunds haters will be happy but his loss will really impact the pass defense. Reload with rookies and possibly a FA player or two will transform this defense. No longer thinking Super Bowl this season. Daunting schedule will be trial by fire for the new guys. Long term this team will be set. -
Is there any defensive player you'd be happy with at pick 27?

Thanks! Hard to type on a phone with eyes that are over 60 years old. Chuckled at my error. -
Plenty of talented O linemen at the combine. If the Bills do not land two O linemen in FA they have a good group to draft and plug in at OG.

Bills will have major hoes to fill. O line, Safety and LB are major areas. I hope they trade out of 27 and move into the second round. Pick up extra picks. Deep draft in Safety so that can be addressed in mid rounds. Building a successful team you do it front to back, inside out. O line for the first or second pick. With Edmunds hitting FA the glaring need for an LB is obvious. I expect the Bills to use the first pick to replace him. Defense will be different next season. Whoever gets Edmunds will get a difference maker. -
Daniel Jones wants more than $45M per year on new deal
Nitro replied to billsbackto81's topic in The Stadium Wall
What you want and what you get are two different things. He is an average QB and no one is tearing down the door to land him. -
Leslie Frazier "taking a year off from coaching" per Bills PR

He needs to regroup. Get a fresh out look on defense. I doubt that the Bills will have him back. Moving on! -
Lamar Jackson wants guarantees that exceed Watson contract
Nitro replied to SCBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Let him walk and draft a young QB. He is starting to get injury prone. -
If you have a glaring need and it was not addressed in free agency then you will draft accordingly. Now if the talent does not meet your drafting position you either trade down, garnering additional picks) or taking a talent that bolsters another position. You draft for now and the future.

Nope

The totality of his tenure. The article covers several years of drafting. Cody Ford was mentioned. You can not focus just on last year. Overall they draft well. Their success on the field means drafting later and the chance of failure goes up. Also each year the talent level available varies. I am a realist and not an emotional fan.

Injury prone running QB? He has to stay healthy and prove he can be a pocket QB. I would draft a young QB that would match the new offense and part ways with him. Cleveland owner is insane. AFC version of Jerry Jones . -
You realize his presence freed up Milano? Removing him will alter the defense greatly. Your logic is flawed. They should not resign any of their UFA since the Bills got to the Super Bowl. I saw this and wonder....why create a huge need when you have two already? Use a premium draft pick on a LB instead of a WR or OL? Pessimistic view is Beane lets many of their UFA walk.

Hodgins or Gabe? Who will have the better career? (Poll)
Nitro replied to K D's topic in The Stadium Wall
Davis came in with a limited route tree and that has not changed. Hodkins is similar in talent. Davis benefits from having a better QB. Irked that they kept Kumerow over Hodkins. I know about ST talent but I liked Hodkins game. -
Odds are they walk away from Poyer and Edmunds. Try draft picks or FAs (cheaper ones). This defense will be in the mid teens and the Bills will try to win with overwhelming offense. Random late night opinion.
-
As many on Two Bills drive opine about Edmunds pro and con, his loss will impact this offense more than they realize. His leaving opens a huge hole and there is no immediate solutions. He has been inconsistent but his presence on the field alters passing games over the middle. This off season will be an interesting one to see the direction the Bills are going to go.

This was a topic of discussion on the NFL network. Guys making lateral moves to improve their stock. Career building technique. Reid like other head coaches want their guys to grow and get experience so they can be a HC in the future.

I enjoy watching Howard since Empire Network days. Some of the morning guys are thin skinned and talk over callers. They should listen to the veteran who is starting to ease into retirement.

Quote from Josh highlighting the Bills' flawed thinking...
Nitro replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think "be like them" is misunderstood. They got rid of Hill and replaced him with several cheaper but talented WRs. Not scheme but how to retool and exploit the flaws of the opponent. Like the quick passes that made the vaunted pass rush of Philly a non factor. Build a team what you want it to be and win! -
He says things to get folks riled up. I ignore this tool bag.
