  1. Sims is a fool in this video because he flat out pretends this team doesn't have any talent, the way he dismisses our safeties is hilarious.  I mean our two guys are near the top when healthy.  He's got a point that we need to add better OL, but he exaggerates things, gives perfect cover for his boy as well.  Lots of blame to go around, and I've certainly critiqued the drafting, but Sims just goes overboard.  Team wins 13 games with no talent, all on Josh....lol.

  2. i'm going to agree, i was miserable most of the year watching them to be honest.  since about the middle of october, something just felt off.  the hamlin situation sucked, tons of injuries.

13-4 and i was upset at many of those w's.

Craziest stat no one would believe. Bills out gained Miami 497 yards to 212 yards the first game. The 2nd game was closer, but I didn’t know how dominant the Bills were in the first meeting.

Dude I remember that game and without looking at the stats for game 1 that seems about right.  We dominated their asses.  Josh made some suspect throws that could have been intercepted, so we got lucky in a way, but the Phins also caught a break on the Milano pick six drop, plus the O couldn't actually score even though they gained and possessed the ball most of the game.

  4. Forget about his straight line speed, he never had much of that to begin with, but where Tre excelled was short area quickness and changing of direction.  You can't run past someone if you don't get by them, and Tre's short are quickness and ability to stay in phase with the receiver helped any deep speed deficiencies.  That's his real issue right now, changing direction on cuts.

What does available talent have to do with coaching hires? Quite a lot I’d imagine. Or did you think quality coaches were going to be fighting each other at the chance to work with Tyrod Taylor?

In a world where Nate Hackett is now a head coach, I don't think it's talent attracting coaching candidates that I worry about, there are 32 jobs and plenty of talented people would try their hand, it's the cream of the crop actually getting a shot rather than the good old boys sticking together.  I mean you look at McDs hires on the O side early in his career, Cully/Castillo, it was just people he knew from the Eagles.  Daboll at least was out of his sphere.  Plenty of folks want to come here and run the O, we just need to make the right hire and that's not a given, seeing as how coaches like to stay within their sphere.

I'm also not saying it's going to be a bad hire, we don't know, so getting back to my original post, I like the known rather than the unknown.

This team looks a bit different than in 2017 wouldn’t you say?

Mainly at QB1, WR1, and TE1, yeah, but what does that have to do with coaching hires?

It's going to look completely different on offensive coordinator side too.

We will agree to disagree. Brian Daboll deserves a lot of credit for what took place here the last few seasons.

All you have to do is watch the last TD to Davis to realize its as much scheme as it is execution.

Trips set with Diggs on the backside, Chiefs in two high, Davis in slot, Chiefs doubling Diggs most of the night, weak side safety looking to cut off any inside breaking routes to Diggs while the CB on Diggs will trail from the outside.  Putting Diggs on the backside allows the Bills to get better numbers front side, they will use 2 defenders on Diggs giving us one on one to the trips side.  Snap ball, weakside safety cheats to Diggs, Davis beat his man and the Strong Side safety can't cover that much ground when other threats are in his area as well.  Great execution, great design, takes two to tango.

  8. Tierney, according to Josh, is the most underpaid employee in the entire org.  I'm not trying to throw shade at Dorsey, just saying that Tierney is a guy we don't hear much about, but is a guy Josh loves.  Bottom line, we have a good group on the offensive side of the ball coaching these guys, which is why I shake my head when the firing calls come raining down.

Yeah, he's essentially saying the same thing I am. Typically in 1 RAT Coverage you're going to pass off the shallow crossers to whoever the RAT is. The shallow cross must be working IN FRONT of the RAT for this to be done though so that he can step up and impede the path of the receiver to slow him down in order to allow him to continue carrying. If it's behind the RAT then the DB should carry that across the field.

So Edmunds is RAT, he has to disrupt and carry the crosser, but should he ultimately pass it off to Jackson or carry it across the entire way.
