  1. I wouldn't want him on my team. Gutless didn't even try playing with a brace on...but lets face it, Hanie looked better and he didn't have a weeks practice behind him.
  2. Realistic? Who are we now, the Detroit Lions? I don't care if AJ's the second coming of Jerry Rice, we need help defensively. If they don't get the guy they want, they need to trade down and start targeting positions.
  3. Even if he's innocent, he's still guilty of being stupid. Just another example of a privileged jock who has no social skills, because everything has been handed to him his whole life.
  4. So you can sign ex Kansas City Chiefs
  5. If Tony Pike is available in the 3rd round, take him. No way do you pick for need. It's a reach to pick a QB 1st, 9th overall, and this team can't afford another first round bust.
  6. Dan Meyer's a Hack...there I said it. Opinions are like !@#$s. Everyone's got one, and they all stink. Who cares what Dan Meyer (who?) says?
  7. Yea, because Tom Brady was drafted so highly...Your theory doesn't wash. Keep the number 9 pick. McNabb would only be a stop gap measure, not worthy of moving down 15 spots in the first round.
  8. Why, The Bills can't have 2 outside LB's? Your theory needs an explanation.
  9. McNabb sucks. I couldn't bear to watch him throw passes into the ground for my team. Draft a QB in the second through 7th round and try to sign Vick for the short term.
  10. You sign him because he's better than any other linebacker we currently have on the roster.
  11. Agreed on the Throwbacks. Those are real football uniforms, not the kindergarten designed current version with 6 shades of blue. What color blind administrator decided they looked good in the first place? The standing red buffalo, white helmet, white pants, royal blue throwback jersey. No one complains about the Colts, Bears, Packers, 49ers, Giants or Jets uniforms, and they're all pretty much original versions that have been in use going on 50 years in most cases. They're traditional, they're not too busy looking, and they look great.
  12. I especially like the part about Ralph fading into the sunset....just sayin'
  13. I agree about Tasker sucking. He should stick to selling ve-hichles.
  14. Marv, you say, as the GM didn't have a say in draft selections or free agent signings, what makes you think he made the decision in picking the coach then? He had a say in all, and he blew it. Marv sucked as a GM. There, I said it.
  15. Bottom line is if these guys win, we'll all fawn over them as the second coming of JC, and if they lose we'll have a reason to complain, but as of now, we don't.
  16. I suppose if JP was back in college he could probably win too. The differences between the 4 team, less than practice team quality players, 6 game season league that JP "won" in, and the NFL are night and day. JP had his chance. He hung onto the ball too long, and rarely checked down. He's not a good QB. Period. Now on to Trent Edwards. He only throws underneath the coverage, can't throw a great long ball, mis-reads defenses and misses the hot receiver, and has no fire in his belly. He's not a good QB either. Now Fitzpatrick looked ok, and with more time to throw I think he would be better. Keep him and Brohm, bring in a free agent and draft a QB somewhere in the draft. Forget about JP and TE. they're yesterdays news.
  17. You obviously never drove in SoCal if you think there's only a 90 minute commute from San Diego to LA.
  18. It sounds like the "good ol' boy" network is making a comeback, in Buffalo of all places. I'm all for it. I never hurts to have knowledegable football people in your organization.
  19. Yea, God forbid his poor family has only $600,000,000 to live on rather than $800,000,000. My friggin heart bleeds for them.
  20. We can all se how the Chiefs turned out last year. Maybe they should have kept Chan Gailey and gotten rid of Todd Haley.
  21. And if the Bills start the next season 3-0, you'll be tuning in again. You can't just decide you're not going to be a fan anymore. It's too much a part of who you are. Ingrained in your psyche. You can swear off the team, but as soon as you watch them again you'll be rooting for them. Same with every Bills fan on this board. It's ok to be pissed. I'm pissed too, but come next September I'll have the same hope for my team to win that I had when I first became a fan.
  22. The up side to hiring Marty, even though he's getting old, is that eventually his son could've taken over. I must admit that if I were the owner of a team, or of a business for that matter, I wouldn't hire someone I feel uncomfortable with.
  23. I would give my eye tooth to know the names of those 15 people a day who called the Bills trying to get an interview.
