I said last year at this time that "we better do it in '09 before Sanchez matures & before Brady gets back in form." Of course, we didn't. I think Sanchez & Ryan are the real deal. We can only hope that CHIX is the real deal as well. Even if they are, I see us 3rd or 4th in the division this yr. I sure hope you're right & I'm wrong. Time will tell.

I never claimed that pissing on a golf course equates to a sex crime. My claim is that allowing a woman to see his penis in lieu of his past equates to being a complete & utter moron...that's all. And I'll tell you where "estimating" falls short...the failure of golf course designers thinking rest rooms would not be needed in strategic locations throughout a golf course. If you're gonna spend 25 mil for a golf course, for cryin' out loud, cough up another half mil & solve this obvious problem. Can you imagine going to Epcot & having to hold it until you got back to the turnstiles? I confess to this...if it was a non predator in the same situation, I would not be siding with the lady. But you can take this to the bank, the majority of Steeler fans in these parts have had enuf of the the whole "Big Ben" thing. They want the Steelers to succeed without without him.

I'm from WNY too & have been on the verge of not caring anymore either. It's been a long friggin decade, and to be honest. the last few years have been so pitiful, I've had enuf as well. But I have a question for ya: If CHIX is the real deal & they put together a winner, will you start caring again? I think I can bounce back if Gailey can get them to play like men again.

If estimating is "making something up", then I am guilty. I am in retail in a resort frequented by tons of Pittsburghers (including Mike Tomlin). My estimate is based on my conversations. Talking about the Steelers is always a good way to break the ice, especially when the peeps are wearing Steelers garb. I'm tellin' ya, the vast majority can't stand this guy...enough to not attend the games? Hmmm?... that's a whole 'nuther thing, as their tickets are already purchased. Right now, they just want their team to succeed without him & they want to be able to wash their hands of this guy.

I have been married 30 yrs. I have a bunch of sister-in-laws & daughters...the youngest being 28. I can tell you this... women have to do something that men don't have to do...that is putting a lot of thought into the subject of rape. Why?... to become educated on the topic in order to decrease the chances of this crime happening to them. Perhaps, Mister Defense, if you had put as much thought into this subject as most women have, & then saw this known predator brandishing his weapon, you would have reported it as well.

Here's how Steelers fans ARE different...they have a whole bunch of SB victories stored away in their memory banks, and right now they are willing to live off memories for awhile in order to solve the bigger problem. As I said, I live & work in the heart of Steelers country. When I bring up the subject of Ben, almost everybody has the same reaction. They hang their head a little & say, "Yeah...he's gotta go". And everybody here wants to not need him when his suspension is over. I would say Mr. WEO that over 75% of the peeps here are willing to trade some victories for a season or two if need be in order to rid the city of this pervert. They really don't want to cheer for this creep.

And herein lies the problem - & why Rooney needs to send him packing. If this was Ferdinand Jones from Hoboken peeing on the back nine, she would have laughed & walked away. But when she realized it was this famous predator, she felt she had an obligation. Even if this dude becomes a choir boy, people will be gunnin' for him...even if he's innocent, he'll be guilty. And why don't golf courses have porta potty's here & there? I'm not a golfer, but hello?...hot sun = liquids to quench - & what goes in must come out.

Although I was born & raised in the Buffalo area (went to Hamburg High...& worked across from the stadium... always a Bills fan), I have lived in PA for the last three decades...right in the heart of Steelers country. My job enables me to talk to tons of Steelers fans. The general consensus around here is that some things are bigger than football. Most folks here want him gone. Steelers pride is HUGE...just like in Buffalo, & he's viewed as a big ugly wart on Pittsburgh. Also, I heard so many stories about him - what a jerk he was - way before all the negative publicity. I honestly don't think he'll be able to repair his image in Pittsburgh. And you guys think we have quarterback problems.....

Fitzy can be Glitzy, while Edwards is Ritzy. Brohm on the other hand is a bit Ditzy. I say we call back Flutie, even though he's Bitzy.

Thank you for researching this. When I first read nucci's post, I thought it didn't really jive with my recollection of all the hype around year one of the K-gun. By the second year though, defenses we're adjusting, but still couldn't stop the Bills because of the outstanding talent & precision execution. But I clearly remember reading plenty of articles back then on the innovation of Marchibroda's design & Kelly's ability to run it.

TO dividing locker rooms was pre-Bills. The dude matured sufficiently enuf to co-exist with others peacefully. My beef with with him in '09 was not his tude, but dropping passes in clutch situations & taking a play off here & there.

The Dicky J era has made me an expert at throwing rugs over stains. I just pray CHIX can get the stench outta my nostrils!
