  1. He's a prototypical 3rd string QB, just like Thad (who disappoints even in that regard)
  2. 1/2 will say we will always suck, no matter what 1/2 will say we are a 10 years in a row super bowl dynasty with a top-5 QB
  3. OP, Don't get me wrong, I think you're insane for the content of the post. But your idea of getting a NFL QB is what I was thinking even prior to the HoF game. For the back up position. If they're going to challenge EJ to fight for his job that way, it's the only way to go about it. Then let Tuel and Thad duke it out for 3rd string. That's what they are. If either of them have what it takes, give em a few years on the sideline with some job security. EJ will be fine with more seasoning. And before you say it, I know... now simply isn't the time to replace him. Deal with it.
  4. Looks like a new motivational approach to me. Training wheels off?
  5. My guess is and will always be, they built the team up around the developing quarterbacks so that they WOULDN'T have to put the world on their shoulders to win every game. With that comes the chance (albeit not equal) that they will all totally flop or they will get what they needed in the first place. Now, anything above and beyond that, including our hopes of EJ being a superstar, is icing on the cake.
  6. The grass is ALWAYS greener.... .... over the septic tank
  7. Santino's in Elma for wings! Still there, right?
  8. You should post more. You need the practice. Joe Montana was a college football legend. He won the national championship his senior year. His first game in college he was inserted and led a comeback. So, nobody was really surprised when he succeeded in the NFL. He won almost as many Super Bowls as Tuel won games in 3+ years of college football. To compare the two is like apples and car engines. If you print it out and use it for toilet paper
  9. Terrible reporting is what I've heard from the press conferences. He's answering their questions very succinctly. They constantly ask these thin questions that literally require no answer at all. It's laughable to him. You can see it. He's toying with them. I happen to like it. Listen next time. The media merely wants affirmation of their opinions. He's not buying what we all do HERE everyday. Speculate.
  10. 8th grade is right around the corner! Be positive!
  11. You're definitely not bucking for a job as a Vegas oddsmaker, that's for sure
  12. Ya gotta be careful coach, we don't want a Kelly/Reed, Manning/Wayne, Montana/Rice, Brady/Moss thing to develop. Get that **** outta here! (sorry if I left your favorite QB/WR combo out)
  13. yep. All reasonable Bills' fans know we have to give him time. There simply is no other way right now. Cliche it up all you want. "painted in a corner, eggs in a basket, for better/worse... etc", it just is that way. As long as he's healthy. That is a pretty big caveat though. With the "action" at camp and PS games, the situation seems more fluid to the fan than it probably does to the coaches. Therefor necessitating (in the fans' mind) and expecting more drastic and visible on-field change. The coaches are busy just looking at the ingredients, while the fans want the pie right now.
  14. 8. Gotta admit, going way out there to get touches, so good for him. 9. I would go with hogan's hero... but you probably didn't want to deal with any copyright infringement in your post. 10. Bills Fans: Yay! ... Steven Hill: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO !
  15. I believe EJ will be good when, and only when.... All Bills fans learn to spell his last name correctly
  16. That and he needs to stop patting the ball too. It looks like a friggin drum roll sometimes./hyperbole
  17. If Hairston can stay healthy (long shot), he will upseat Pears I believe
  18. Did you just compare Jeff Tuel with Joe Montana? You. Need. Help.
  19. Every receiver can't be an $8 million/yr Mercedes.
  20. You forgot to mention how dashing he is.
  21. Bledsoe's clock was ticking. Mallett may be around to win the Div. for the next 10 years. (Even though typing that made me laugh) I should clarify. The ONLY reason BB would let him over here is if he sucks OR is a serious risk with off field problems. Even then, trading to the Bills would require more of a return for the cheats than a team outside imo.
  22. Belichick would never let him come here. Even the small odds of becoming really good and not having replaced Brady with him. They would absolutely vilify Billyboy in Boston especially after a Buffalo beatdown, like is gonna happen anyway.
  23. Here's one for the EJ haters club Rat in a drain ditch, caught on a limb You know better, but I know him Hopefully there will be "nothing left to do, but smile smile smile" at the end of the season
  24. On the field he has proven to be a tough gamer too.
