Knowing that the opposing QB/OC are watching tape on you forces a defensive coordinator to watch their own tape looking for patterns that their opponents might see and exploit. Once they find their own defenses pattern a D coordinator can design their defense to trick a QB into thinking they're seeing the same pattern they saw on tape. Then slip a LB into the pass route.

Maybe Josh is tricking the opposing D coordinators into thinking that he doesn’t watch tape on them, when in reality he does??? 🤔

You do got to appreciate what they said about Miami though:

Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa apparently did jiujitsu training this offseason to learn how to get sacked better, if that gives you an idea of where this team is at.

Tua’s accuracy in falling correctly now is apparently really impressive.

I think he should be put on a hot seat.  I would like Mcdermott to get more involved.  I have always though Mcdermott has been the better evaluator of talent.

How do you know the level of McD’s involvement in draft picks and player evaluation versus Beane’s, as it already stands?

DK2 is enough for me.  He is the second DK on the team to Knox

Then the DK2 semi-automatic is the natural progression for the no=huddles that Dorsey should be implementing because of Kincaid mismatches.  The DK2 semi-automatic is the progression/improvement from the years ago K-gun based on the TE.

I prefer the Caid-gun offense myself, but  am on-board a progression from the K-gun offense.

No I'd welcome it if it's based on performance.  If White is not able to regain his ability that his contract was based on then if he refuses to restructure to a more fair rate then that's on him and lack of honest awareness of decline in ability doesn't inspire confidence that that player is gonna improve going forward.  Though to be fair Tre White is pretty highly self motivated.  I'd see him taking a lower contract to stay in Buffalo.  Morse I think he is aware he is on borrowed time and with his concussion history I think he would retire anyway.  Have to see how others play þhis season as well.

I’m thinking this is Morse’s last season.  They’re grooming Bates as the team’s next center.

He felt Dodson handled the defense well?😬

How on the green Earth is this still a battle?

Because why rush an announcement that Torrence will be the starting RG?  If he’s the better player and starts Week 1, does it matter if he’s not announced the starter on August 20th?  Given Peterman started over Allen at one point, it shouldn’t be surprising that McD is not announcing Torrence as the starter yet.

  7. Gunner - Thanks for the write-up, has to miss the game here.  You don’t mention Evans at RB.  You see him making PS too, or just cut altogether?

And you bring up Boogie being traded.  I agree they should be trying to trade one of these edge guys if they can, since they all can’t make the squad.  Have you considered AJE being the trade candidate instead of Basham, given there’s an extra year on Basham’s rookie contract?  If the Bills don’t think they’ll be able to re-sign AJE next season, might as well try and get even a late round pick for him now.
