The more I research this player, the more I like this pick.

A monstrous 6'7 player that some people think could even be a linemen if he put on weight, but runs a 4.5 and has incredible hands.

Is a powerful blocker, so would help our average o-line, and huge frame for contested redzone catches.

I would much much much prefer the upside of this player (he could take the league by storm, ala Gronkowski) over another standard 6 foot WR, that even at full potential, isnt going to be much better than "good".

    EDIT; 4.6 actually - not 4.5

He’d be one of my targets either at 27, or somewhere been that and our current R2 pick.  Could create unique mismatches, give Josh an extra weapon and offer possible OL support too.  The Keith McKellar to this offense.

I know someone that has a direct connection to a lot of bills players and yes, Allen is a moron.

There's no way the off the field issues didn't effect his play. Maybe helps explain his dog crap play for much of the regular season, and the clear decline in passion shown on the field.

Hopefully the off-season is enough time to get right.

According to some here, we should just ignore this whole thing and Josh’s mental state.  But those same people find enough time to comment still 😂😂

Weird topic man but it's all over Twitter and Reddit now so it's not like it can be ignored during the offseason. I don't buy the Diggs involvement at all though, that just seems like a lazy merger of two completely separate issues.

I don’t know.  You don’t think night before playoff game, his boy Josh is pulled away from team hotel dealing with this ****.  Diggs finds out and would be the first one there, trying to get him out of there and back to the hotel.

Apparently Brittany was partying during the game too, while we were getting our butts kicked:

lots of stuff happened last fall

So it wasn’t his “concussion” against the Packers that was the problem? lol.  I will say this, Josh did not seem like he was enjoying last season, so it would not surprise me if there were some personal things going on too.

The thing is they own A  Aron. They don't have to accept anything they don't want to. They can let him sit on the couch (or dark place) and think about the 33 mil. he ain't getting.  The Jets can hold out a while longer until the draft date possibly gets the Packers to accept maybe not as much as they want.

By that time, other teams  will be saying ...Hey, why not us?  If the Commanders situation changes soon and they can swing it, what better way to bring that team to relevance?  He'll probably end up a 49er. How cool would that be?

Agreed.  My point is whether it’s the Jets or someone else, if Rodgers will not play for GB in 2023, GB is better off trading him for the best offer of draft picks in the 2023 NFL draft, as opposed to the 2024 NFL draft.  I’d be shocked if any deal to trade Rodgers happens after the upcoming draft.

He's a fool if he signs here.  He'll be inactive most weeks and what's left of his career will be over.  Ask TJ Yeldon and Duke Johnson.  Breida is lucky he has a rapport with Daboll.

If that’s all he can get at this point in his career, that’s what he might have to take and be okay with it.

The latest, per Schefter via NBC Sports Edge:
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports "it doesn't sound like" Aaron Rodgers will be traded to the Jets before the NFL Draft.
"Green Bay seems quite content to wait until after the draft to make a trade," he said. "Both sides seem to be dug in." Jets general manager Joe Douglas said last week that Rodgers is "going to be here" amid rumors that the team will wait until the second day of the NFL Draft to make the move for Rodgers, 39. Rodgers' massive contract has proved difficult to move, and differences in compensation have come to the forefront in recent weeks. Still, the Packers are likely to deal Rodgers to New York sometime before the heat death of the universe.

That would be dumb on the Packers side though, no?  Wouldn’t they want to land draft picks from the Jets in this year’s draft?  Predicting Schefter is wrong on this one.

  8. Agree about not drafting any of the LBs at 27.  If we do get one after trading down, Trenton Simpson is my target.  I think he has the highest upside between him, Campbell, Sanders and others.  I don’t see him sliding too much though.
