Kelsay of course Spiller had better play well soon as the regular starts or there are going to be calls of bust- he's a running back not a QB you got to show by the 2nd season. Urbik- he's looked stiff, not as powerful as you'd hope given his size, looked like he lost his balance a couple times. Wang, Howard, Rinehart, Wrotto, Watkins,- I hope one of these guys emerge but I haven't seen anything yet. Easely - might be one of those guys who never gets his act totally together

So why is gold worth anything?
....lybob replied to DaveinElma's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
It has some industrial uses but nowhere nears as much gold is used in industry as silver or platinum. -
I don't thinks he's a probowl RT but I didn't think Clabo was a probowl player either- but I'm very leery about Wang as LT depth and Urbik as starting RG I'd love to bring in Stinchcomb and Shawn Andrews if they could return to form it'd not only help the starters but the depth as well as I'd move Pears over to backup LT.

well if he can play a two year contract letting Hairston develop behind him might be idea.

Actually on SSI, Medicare and Medicaid we are not asking for more we are asking to maintain- and Medicare and Medicaid have already gone through cuts. but there are places where I'd want more spending- for example on infrastructure I believe in Keynesian stimulus but I believe in the age of globalization that stimulus must be tightly targeted- in the age of globalization money given to consumers is probably going to foreign goods and won't achieve the velocity of money need to achieve unemployment reduction and money to the investment class will probably also end up overseas. An example of targeted stimulus would be 30 year zero rate interest loans for reducing energy usage - geothermal exchange heating and cooling, LEDs, insulation, solar hot water, etc- this is an employment driver, it increases the home values, and if done right the monthly payments would be offset by energy savings.

Fiasco is the perfect word if I was the Mexican government I'd be more than a little pissed and If you really wanted to slow down the Cartels why don't you sell them guns with RFID tags and C4 in the stock- or sell them Ammmo where every third bullet expands jamming the barrel causing a back fire- and I agree that this did probably come from on high and it's not the first time that people engaged with activity that deserves a jail sentence got a promotion instead.

Take a look at Stinchcomb for RT and Shawn Andrews at RG, If they check out you could have Pears backing up LT and Hairston back RT. If it all worked out Bell LT, Levitre LG, Wood C, Andrews RG, Stinchcomb RT starting Pears LT, Hangartner C/LG Hairston RT back ups Wang, Urbik, Howard, Rinehart, Wrotto compete for the back up guard positions the best 1 or 2 make the team.

Yes the PA is a total terrorist organization while Lehi and Irgun were just freedom fighters.

So you've never heard a progressive say: end the wars, close down most of the foreign bases, legalize drugs, stop spying on Americans, end corporate welfare, stop foreign aid, end the Cuba embargo, end the TSA, legalize prostitution, end giving pharmaceutical companies a monopoly in the American market, and lol end fluoridated water. So if you've never heard a progressive say they wanted less government - either you weren't listening or you mean in areas you want less government.

excellent points made to counter other points that exist nowhere except in your feverish delusional mind- now if you want to join the actual thread and either explain why Reagan was a Statist president or not a statist president then feel free- or continue to joust at windmills whatever makes you happy.

I bet Obama is remembered a 100 years from now simply for being the first Black president-pick five random High school seniors an offer them a dollar for every president they can name and I doubt you'd be out more than 25 dollars- offer them 5 dollars to name one thing the presidents they picked did as president and I doubt you'd be out more than another 25 dollars.

probably not - it amuses me that that in his wildest dreams he thinks he deserves an answer from anyone BTW How many times can you get a complete moron to ask the same question? I don't know but probably less than 3rdrate
-
Since you've quoted 3rdrate 5 times in this thread I'd think you'd be in line for a huge salary - I mean what could be more terrifying than those WMD (weapons of massive dumbassery)

ooh this could be a fun game of stringing the connection, how about 1. U.S. taxpayers - provided money to bail out the banks- who laundered Mexican cartel money- who killed thousands of Federales- So the headline should be "U.S taxpayers support killing of thousands of Mexican Federales" 2. U.S. taxpayers- provide money to contractors- who use the money to buy off the Taliban to allow supplies through- the Taliban uses the money to buy weapons to attack U.S troops. Headline "U.S taxpayers support the killing of U.S troops" 3. U.S. taxpayers provide money to Israel so if Israel engages in collective punishment or drops white phosphorus on people or attacks ships in international waters killing members from a fellow NATO country- Headline should be "U.S. taxpayers support Israels multiple War crimes" fun game but once you start you may never end.

real tax rates for incomes of $20,000 to $500,000 are around 40% My link Tax rate on the super rich is lower because they earn most of their money from capital gains and dividends

Football Is Won In The Trenches
....lybob replied to cjatcreek07's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think the OL can be helped tremendously by adding Nick Cole and Shawn Andrews and subtracting Wang and Wrotto Starters- Bell LT, Levitre LG, Woods C, Nick Cole RG Shawn Andrews RT first tier Back ups- Pears LT Hangartner G/C Chris Hairston RT second tier Back ups- the best two out of Howard, Brown, Urbik, and Rinehart -
The need for an actual Tight End
....lybob replied to Billshank Redemption's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I still think we could pry Martellus Bennett from Dallas - Dallas Has Jason Witten, and behind him John Phillips who they like, and Martin Rucker- Bennett isn't like a weapon but he's a good blocker who can also catch the ball. -
Jasper is not a finished product but the Bills aren't going anywhere this year anyways- because you don't get rid of you best WR for a 4th if you think you can compete now- Jasper needs to use his hands better (a rip and a swim move), needs to lose weight until he is no longer top heavy, and needs to fire out of his stance faster and lower.

Who makes the team? Who gets cut?
....lybob replied to mountainwampus's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Wang and Urbik were disappointing but may be safe because Wrotto and Rinehart were also unimpressive - does anyone have anything to say about Howard?, I didn't notice him and I missed the first 30 mins so if anyone has anything good to report about the starting Oline tell me. -
All the arguments you can give for trading Lee Evans go doubly for Kelsay- Lee was too old to help the team at 30 Kelsay is 31, Lee was overpaid for what he brings so is Kelsay, Lee doesn't fit system perfectly neither does Kelsay, retaining Lee would slow the development of young WRs Kelsay's presence slows the development of Batten and Coleman.

Anyone see Iowa debate ?
....lybob replied to drinkTHEkoolaid's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Yes it was the Black caucus that planned the ouster of Aristide- you are delusional- and the issue was American government acting " outside proper legal channels" your ilk are outraged the scarce times it happens to the detriment of a corporation but are strangely silent with the many times it happens in favor of corporations- As for BP in an industry that doesn't have the greatest safety or environment record BP is still an incredible negative outlier -
what will the Bills offense be like? If the Bills can't make other teams respect our ability to go deep the answer is brutal- they will come up and stack the box and try to take away the run and short passes, I don't mind that the Bills traded Evans but they better have a plan to replace the deep threat that Evans gave them.
