¶ ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) _ A person with direct knowledge of the decision tells The Associated Press that Buffalo Bills and Sabres president Russ Brandon is leaving his post in a major shake-up made by the teams' owners, Terry and Kim Pegula.

    Edit:

    http://buffalonews.com/2018/05/01/russ-brandon-resigns-from-bills-sabres-after-internal-investigation/

Russ Brandon has resigned as managing partner and president of the Pegula sports empire.

Kim Pegula has taken over as president.

The move comes after Pegula Sports and Entertainment conducted an internal investigation into Brandon's workplace behavior and allegations of personal misconduct, two sources told The Buffalo News.

Kim Pegula on Friday informed Brandon an internal investigation was being conducted. Two sources with knowledge of the investigation said it was triggered by allegations of inappropriate relationships with female employees.

When confronted by Kim Pegula, the sources said, Brandon denied any such relationships, but the investigation indicated he was deceitful about that and other job-related issues that were uncovered.

Anyone taking pleasure of this announcement is just SIC! Your not a true Bills fan, just a troll. We all have good and bad memories of Russ running the Bills in different capacities. I wanted him gone!!! Not like this.

I always looked at Russ as a family man from Rochester to Western NY. Young guy who grew up in the Bills atmosphere. With power come a enormous burden to be more moral than the next guy. That is not easy, most men don't understand and alot of woman will exploit that. I would not want to be married and live their lifes. As a single guy, never married and 52 I can tell you alot of stories of the stuff I have seen with married men at bars. Doesn't matter what I do I am single but most married men behave worse than I do as a single guy. The point is don't judge or be judged. I am sure someone has seen something at one time in your life you would not want known!!!!!!!! No one but Jesus is moral enough to cast a stone here. Russ, good luck in your life. What ever happens here, be honest with your wife and keep it between your family. Us Bills fans don't need to know and don't want to know. Take care of FAMILY. Been a tough "20" years but I don't hate it, worse that happened is we needed to bomb out some times and give up on players quicker but knew alot of good men in that time, Kelsey, Williams, Woods, Jackson, Fitz, etc... You kept Levy legacy going, you loved NY. Fix your life, be a man, power isn't everything, family is. God Bless and find peace.

McCarron will be better than people here think he will. Allen is going to have to make some leaps and bounds to be better than AJ. But I think any time you draft a qb first round the management is under extreme pressure to prove that the pick was a correct one and play that qb asap. Even if its a detriment to the team.

Better for Buffalo if both become great.

Austin Proehl is a quicker than fast explosive athlete with impressive suddenness in and out of his breaks displaying fast quick feet creating continuous separation against defenders. He is a fluid and sharp route runner with a clean technique and smoothness to his game. Proehl displays great bend on breaks popping out quickly with terrific athleticism, outstanding footwork, quickness, and burst breaking away with impressive speed. Possesses NFL bloodlines (father is former NFL player Ricky Proehl), Austin is a natural pass catcher with very strong soft reliable hands (terrific hand-eye coordination) extending arms to make the catch and excellent ball skills, and is tough as nails with an excellent work ethic. Missed part of the 2017 season with a broken collarbone, but came back earlier than expected (competitive nature).

    • NorthCarolina_logo.gif Austin Proehl, WR, North Carolina
      Height: 5-10. Weight: 175.
      Projected 40 Time: 4.54.
      Projected Round (2018): 7-FA.

4/24/18: Proehl missed a lot of the 2017 season with a left arm injury. He had 21 receptions for 337 yards and a touchdown in his shortened year.

7/17/17: Proehl was a solid No. 3 receiver for North Carolina in 2016 as he caught 43 passes for 597 yards and three touchdowns. With Ryan Switzer, Mack Hollins and Bug Howard off to the NFL, Proehl could get more opportunities; however, North Carolina will be breaking in a new quarterback replacing Mitchell Trubisky.

Seriously, it's almost scary how much these two are similar.

    Similarities:

    Grew up in small towns

    Height and Weight

    Arm Length

    Wonderlic Score

    College Completion %

Read this and tell me this doesn't sound familar:

Then Drew Bledsoe came out and his velocity was different, the spin on his ball was different, and it was like, O.K., now I see why he's the Number 1 pick."

Allen is slightly more athletic, but coming out of college, they were really similar.

Bledsoe was completely immobile and did not have a quick release. Not athletic. this gets my stupidest post list.

You would take the career. The comparison is stupid!

There shouldn't be an arbitrary timeline to determine when Allen starts.  Don't rush him but don't hold him back either.  Once he becomes the QB that gives us the best shot at winning, start him. Whether that is next year, mid year or even at the beginning.

No, he is still better watching unless McCarron gets hurt.

You have the psychic ability to see what our offensive personnel looks like at the start of the season?

We held onto cap space for a reason.  That reason is the upcoming cuts.  If they sign a bunch defensive side of the ball cap casualties then you can worry, I guess.

Our line has Bodine or Groy at Center, Got a guard in Teller who probably can start, Ducasse and Miller are still here. Set at tackles with free agent backup picked up that has start 4-5 years. Bodine has played with McCarrone so that will be seamless. I fail to see why this is a BAD line. yes upgrades would be nice at RG and RT. Yes there still are good players who will be looking for work for backups.

I guess McDermott and Beane figure the offense will be terrible regardless, so we might as well add all the defense we can.

Now we might lose 20-3 instead of 30-3.

I am sure McDermott isn't happy losing 53, 56, 65 for a QB that is sitting. Making him happy.

WR can still be addressed in free agency 5-10 players that are good, not great but will come cheap
