  1. pretty sure country artist are the only ones that can really sing these days. unless we're talking about taylor swift but she is more pop than anything.
  2. The community is so divided on what the bills should do in the first round that i actually feel bad for nix. No matter what his decision ends up being, whether he chooses a LT,QB or a defensive player, half of the people are going to hate him for it. he's got a tough draft coming up.
  3. we are gonna lose reed so there goes our slot. draft jordan shipley 4th round? we need a number two. bring up hardy or johnson.
  4. thought he played well in the senior bowl...looks like someone who could be groomed to be a great player, and you wont have to spend a number 9 pick on a LT.
  5. im pretty sure your getting your info from mike mayock or mel kiper, and i respect that, but to believe that the bills upper-management uses their info from scouts on espn in the deciding process of the draft...well thats just childish and you're living in a fantasy land. thats why the bills have pro scouts hired.
  6. playing quarterback my whole life, i actually preferred to be under center rather than in shotgun. when you are in shotgun, there is that one second where you aren't looking at the defense but your focus is on catching the ball. under center you can see what the defense is doing while dropping back...just more time to analyze. if you never played quarterback, you are probably wondering, "its just one second, what are you talking about?" i guess its just one of those things that you have to play the position to understand.
  7. you know, it is really hard to take you seriously when your member name is jplosman1
  8. if he is still there, i would take Jordan Shipley in Round 5.
  9. don't have a design program on my computer but i am a human and i do have an opinion..just like you do.
  10. UNIFORM DESIGN Going back to the royal blue. Modern but yet still simple (unlike the vikings). Red would just be an alternate. Helmets would be charging buffalo with white helmet and white facemasks, red stripe down the center. i would love to see something like this to start a new decade of football. real life example would be Oklahoma State Uniform, just switch their orange to blue, black to red.
  11. First of all, he does not have as weak an arm as people say. Wouldn't have been a successful college quarterback if he did. Second, i didn't know having a career 66 percent completion percentage was being inaccurate. Third, most quarterbacks in college don't play in a pro-style offense. He threw for 102 TD's and ran for 47 while only throwing 36 interceptions. That seems like a pretty good ratio for me...and the 11 yards per completion average seems to be pretty efficient too. My point is there is way too much potential to just say he doesn't have a chance.
  12. i almost forgot that arm strength was everything when deciding a quarterback...'cause jamarcus russell turned out so damn good.
  13. i would love to see us take lefevour in round 2. i know everyone thinks round 3 or 4 but after the senior bowl, he isn't going to last that long.
  14. let go of reed, draft shipley to play the slot in round 4
  15. i like how when buck was defending his opinion on hargrove's supposed roughing the quarterback, he said "he lifts him up and drive's him to the ground," like that is a bad tackle. As far as i know, that was what we were taught at the pop warner level as a perfect form tackle. i hate joe buck
  16. couldn't agree with you more. it makes me sick to listen to all these people pushing for a god damn LT. if bradford or clausen is there at 9, they better take em. all the bills fans need to listen to jim kelly on this matter.
  17. first of all, no rookie quarterback is ever considered a lock to be successful their first year. second of all, there was a ton of skepticism on sanchez's experience in college and the only reason he was taken so high is because there were only two good quarterbacks in that draft. frankly, 2 of those 3 quarterbacks you mention are probably more highly regarded than sanchez was going in to the draft. third of all, quarterback without an offensive line is useless but an offensive line without a quarterback can also be useless. teams will just stack the box with 8 players to stop your run game. you can take care of an offensive line through free agency to get proven people... we need to draft a quarterback in order to be a successful team. (ex. NO, IND, GB, SD...all playoff teams/all great qb's)
  18. Bradford isn't going to get past the redskins. If he does drop to nine (teams thinking jimmy clausen is better), the bills better take him.
  19. since chan gailey's offenses have been known for going with a 4 wide set (at least that is what all the analyst's are saying) to spread out the defense, and he likes a quarterback who can give him options with running and throwing (his georgia tech recruiting), i would think the draft would go as such: Round 1: OT or McClain if there Round 2: Colt McCoy (trade up if necessary) Colt McCoy, i feel, is better than people are giving him credit for. He makes quick reads, has ridiculous accuracy, arm strength is above average, can throw the ball downfield with accuracy, and he has great mobility. Not to mention he was a heisman finalist twice and is well versed in running a spread.
  20. as much as we would all love to see it happen, the bills getting new uniforms is wishful thinking.
  21. i will disagree with this statement. "if you look good, you feel good, you play good." i don't know if you ever played on a sports team but i know a butt load of people who believe in this statement...it goes a long way.
  22. since when did buffalo sports teams start hating royal blue? first the bills, and then the sabres. now we have these dull navy blue uniforms that couldnt be more boring. after all of the coaching positions are figured out, i would like the bills to finish the full turn around with some new uniforms. the start of a new decade.
  23. I thought Marty Schottenheimer would make a lot of sense for the new HC but there has been little talk about him. Buddy Nix and Marty are probably friends from San Diego.
