I loved that network when it first came on the air; now it is almost completely unwatchable.
They're loaded with great talent like Sterling Sharpe, Mayock, Wilcots and Charles Davis. Yet every time I turn it on I see Deion Sanders, Joe Theismann, Michael Irvin or some other loudmouthed, widely hated jackass with a single digit IQ.
I hardly even bother turning to it any more because every time I do I end up changing the channel within 2 seconds.
Exactly. I really like Wilcots. I also, against my will, have come to at least listen to what Sapp has to say.

I've been saying it for a couple years - as a complete football player, Freddy is a top 5 RB in the league. One of the best blockers in the backfield I've ever seen. And we got to see Thurman who was great as well.
And Jamie Dukes is a total idiot. In fact, everyone on NFLN is an idiot, outside of a couple guys. There to get ratings, not be honest about football.

That actaully didnt worry me. The announcers tried to play it up, but Fitz clearly took and knee and then was washed over in a waved of humanity. He had already taken the knee.

Been saving this one for awhile.
Our son Hunter was born during the bye week last year. His first game was the Ravens game, and all of a sudden we started being competitive and/or at least fun to watch. Every week we watch the game together and take a picture. I think this win puts us at .500 since we had him (which is not bad considering what it was before he got here).
So, I'd like to say that starting with his birth, he's the Bills good luck charm.

LETS GO NOW. Get it together D

Edwards is calling a horrible game. Totally outclassed.
-
Does anyone else think Merriman is better standing up than with his hand on the ground?
-
I'm not sure how to take this newfound respect from CBS and the media in general.
-
I'm just glad there is no tape of me watching the game. His voice just sounds shot after shouting for three hours in front of 70 thousand people. Mine was shot just yelling at my TV.
+1. I made Fitzy sound like Big Foot in this clip.

Fitzy doesn't call the wrong number. You answer the wrong phone.
-
I have to give it to PTR. At the time of the FG, he was the only one - on the board or in the Shout Box - who said taking the points was a good idea.

As I'm sure you know, sandyclam, the point spread is only the number at which Vegas thinks they can get an equal amount of action on BOTH sides of the bet. It's not a predictor of the final outcome.
Not necessarily true. For a lot of games, that's the case, games where they might not have a great feel for what's going to happen.
Take this week for example. Right now Miami +3 is getting 80% of the action. If they have a good feeling about Cleveland -3, they'll leave the line there and in essence get +400 (4/1 odds) on Cleveland -3. I'd take those odds as well. Even worse, right now SD is getting 99% of the action -14.5 against KC.
The line only moves if they think a game could go either way.

I'm not sure you can compare Kelly's numbers, to those of a current franchise QB...
I'll let you know after the season if Fitz has proven to me he is a franchise QB.
Listen to Chan's press conference about "franchise QBs." He makes a lot of sense. It's a made up media term.
Fitz is our QB right now and I couldn't be happier. Like Gailey said, he's a winner and a hell of a football player.

I believe he finished it in 13 minutes, which is also sick.
I think the time limit is actually 12 minutes, but he finished it in 9. I think a lot of guys don't even finish.

I wonder where this stuff comes from sometimes. Lindell has hit a ton of game winners for us over the years. He's one of the most accurate kickers in team history, and in the league right now. He's fine.

Switched from my Fitzpatrick jersey to Freddie Jackson at halftime.
-
To the guy that won the "Fourth and Long" reality show for a camp invite with the Cowboys.
-
Can we please end the Fitz isn't the guy for this team talk?
And PAY Freddie?
-
Nice drive working here. Assertive throws by Fitz.
-
Fitzy always seems to throw good quick slants.

I would really like to hear what Bledsoe said, from his own mouth...not a second hand account from a thin skinned Bills fan...haven't we seen comments like these stretched to mean what we want to hear, you know, "we've been disrepected", because that is part of Bills fandom, feeling disrespected.
What he said.

The conversation begins and ends at Amish Rifle. Nothing else comes close.

I have to say, I loved his reaction after that penalty. You could tell, he's going to work his ass off to correct it. Although he's one of the more talented guys on the team, he just fits in with the blue collar mentality of this team. Happy to have him.

I wonder why Ryan Lindell wasn't booting it out of the end zone today? He was in pre-season. So it must be a strategy move.
Thought the exact same thing during the game. My guess is, you kick it light to the goal line, and your coverage team has a 5 yard head start from the same return spot last year. I think it makes sense. Worked today.

Wife and I will be there, actually headed out with a couple folks from on here including coastalpika. Longworth is a great spot to tailgate. Plenty of Bills fans and good natured Bengals fans.
