I thought about playing a shakir TD and Elam INT. I didn't because I didn't want to bet on the team. I hate having skin in the game. Individual performances are different.
Hurtz is more of a MVP right now than Lamar is. If they want to hitch their wagon to a black QB, they should go there. The fact they predicate their MVP take on the race of a player is a whole other story.
Skip: I'll talk Lamar over Josh Allen.
Also Skip: I'll take Baker Mayfield over Josh Allen.
He'd have a "scanners" moment if someone made him pick between Lamar and Baker.
Obviously and good game from rookies or players you don't expect to produce, you exclude from the formula. You only count the ones they do poorly in, obviously.
Picture doesn't need to be included, obviously, but, obviously, for emphasis.
Any mention of the "veritgo" that Tua had against the Bills? just curious.
And I don't wish it on Tua. I wish it on Miami that Tua is going to be out for at least 2 months because of their short term vs long term success.
I like the Jets in 2nd above the Fins, above the Pats more.
If Allen keeps this up he's going to end up working himself out of the MVP race by getting pulled out of the game ever 3rd game in the 4th qtr. I'm sure @Einstein has something to back this up.
Can't disagree but he is a rookie. He's trying to do his best to make any play he can. Once he gets the nuances of the game he will likely throw that ball away. We've seen Allen do it in the past where a play was never dead. No, I'm not putting Pickett on Allens level, just saying that at that stage in both their careers, they didn't know any better so went for it all as much as they could.
double edge sword. The bills could do it today because they looked in control. Sometimes, teams do it to get their team in a rhythm and knock the other team out of theirs. The reality is, they could run a NHO and go 4 and out in 60 seconds and have to toss their defense right back on the field.
It's all about using it when you can catch the other team off guard.
QB was out of the pocket so it was legal. As for fully ok? I would say it might have been a questionable attempt being up 38-3 to try to go after a QB's legs running at the sideline (questionable as in, he had no reason to go at him other than running him OoB).
