The best time of year right now, extension season. Between the end of preseason and the start of regular. You gotta thing beane and his agent have been talking for sure. If it doesn't happen now I don't think it's going to and he's gone.

Honestly, more disappointed that he didn't get charged. I really don't care about the suspension. Not even about him but it's an awful look when these guys can just walk around and know that there are almost no consequences when it comes to dealing with the justice system. And even worse are the people that mentor and train these players that put them so high on a pedestal that they actually believe that they are better than other people, not just at sports but better in general.

The fact that the team is on the cusp probably makes them more attractive to potential buyers as well as fan interest being back up compared to the past decade.

This year is fine for them. Next year would be the issue as I believe that are already 30+ million over the cap. That's not including whatever Taylors cap hit would be and seeing what happens with Wilkins. They are in as bad a shape as the bills are for cap but we have some big ones that can be restructured.

And that was the point of my post, WRs are expecting to run their routes and catch the ball. Not break up passes while on offense. He's not a DB. As soon as the guy was there he knew he could only try to get him OOB because the defender was going to get it.

Not many WR's running their routes are expected to break up a pass while doing it. That's the defenses job. He was expecting the ball to be there and the defender jumped in front of it. I get hating Gabe is the new hot thing but blaming him because of an INT that was late and underthrow is just wrong.

it was an underthrown ball that the defender was already in position to make the catch for. Gabe fighting for the ball would have done nothing other than maybe prevent an INT but putting any blame on Davis is just wrong.
