Our Achilles heel on D in the playoffs against Mahomes has been in large part a woefully underperforming pass rush—if Rousseau really wants to cement his place as the next iteration of Bruce Smith, now would be a great time for a statement game—also building on what’s already been a great year for him so far. Looking for big things from our D line to help offset the injury holes in the middle and back end of the D.

Lol. Rousseau was never gonna be Bruce smith. He’s more shaq lawson

I didn't say the offense is better. Obviously it hasn't been. But the defense is vastly better.

The offense has scored 7 fewer ppg, but the defense has allowed 5 fewer ppg. When you factor in sitting starters in week 18, and passing up several scoring opportunities to take a knee, it's a similar differential. Multiple games ended with a kneel at the 1. Just a more defensive-oriented team than in years past. The difference offensively has mostly been mistakes; not talent. Tons of penalties, untimely TOs, and by far the most drops in the NFL. Will these problems rear their head again on Sunday? Maybe, but the offense has been a lot less mistake-prone the last few weeks. Partly because Toney and Moore haven't been available to screw up.

For sure D is better. Would just say their young guys have developed and leveled up. SNeED is an all pro now.

One thing that I'm very concerned about in this game, especially with all the injuries...who is going to spy Mahomes?

No he's not JA17 back there, but he's killed teams over the years with his legs too especially in the playoffs and have to figure that will be a big part of the gameplan this week knowing attention will still go Kelce (and now Rice's) way. He had a few big runs against Miami last week too.

Dorian. Give him zero responsibility other than heat seeking missle at patty.

They've had their struggles with drops/penalties/turnovers at times, but this KC roster is better than last season's. The defense is much better than last year's or any defense in the Mahomes era, and the biggest difference in personnel on the offensive side is swapping Smith-Schuster for Rice, which is looking like a huge upgrade right now. Plus, Mahomes isn't playing with a high ankle sprain this time.

None of this guarantees anything, but the narrative that the roster is weak isn't accurate.

No. Their OL tackles are much worse.

Problem is solved by mixing him in and treating him as a #4 or 5 option, behind Diggs, Kincaid and Shakir. Cook and Davis should get a few designed targets per game.

They/ coaches won’t do that. If he plays he’s playing the whole game. Which is another problem. Gabe is a bad habit for Josh. He uses Gabe as a crutch / throw it have faith in my guy way too much. Instead force Josh to read and find the open guy - Kincaid / Shakir for the first or TD.

I’m not sure how you can say this.  Mahomes is the best scrambler in the league.  I think the Bills will win, but I’m not sure how you can deny Mahomes’s scrambling ability.

I respect Mahomes a lot but his strength isn't scrambling. If KC needs him to scramble to win, we've got this. I think Clappy knows enough about Reid's tendencies to nullify that threat

He literally has killed the bills with this. He killed them so badly in afccg that beane freaked out and panic drafted boogie and groot. Then still wasn’t enough and spent the future for Von

he won the game vs bengals last year in playoffs

go watch ny jets game this year

I am not naive enough to discount a Mahomes and Reid led team. The Chiefs have not established a deep threat receiver since Hill left. Their bread and butter is passes that don't go farther than 15 yards. I think Clappy can game plan for this. Yes their defense is good but not great at any particular thing. Not good enough to take away all our running and receiving threats.

This year (not every year) we are better than kc. We are hungrier that they are and will win and cover the spread.

I’d say their real bread and butter is mahommes scrambling. Hes KILLING teams w it. We are very poor at stopping that. Needs to change Sunday

Davis is one of the best blocking WRs in the game. The one trait he’s elite at. It’s like pass blocking for a RB. Just because it’s not his main job doesn’t mean it’s not important.

The least important thing to be a boundary NFL WR. I’m not sure he’s that ELiTE? I see him motion down in tight and misses block after block , whiffs in the box. Ok sure he can block a DB. Big deal. I need my WR2 to separate and win routes and catch the ball. That’s it. And run the right routes and not confuse the qb.

Josh is absolutely going to light the chiefs up. Their defensive game plan is based on all those disguised pressures, and in arrowhead, Josh is constantly dealing with the noise in trying to get to the right plays and projections. Won’t have any of those issues this week.

i am predicting a monster game by him.

True. I don't think Gabe will play a ton of snaps even if he plays this week. I definitely wanna see Shakir get more looks, I think the bills have desperately missed that beasley role. However, if Gabe puts up 100 yards, I'm not gonna complain about that either

It’s just a bad matchup for Gabe. THIS version of KC secondary is insane. Prob the best (maybe BaL is equal).

let me remind everyone that he had 0 catches for 0 yards with 2 targets during reg season.

forget about the 4 td game. This is an entirely better kc D.

they stick to you like glue. Gabe simply can’t get open

The only fake is you, my man. That's the new narrative. I disagree that there's room on this board for this: what you actually did was come onto an opposing team's message board, whine about a completely legal stutter step/juke move, claiming it was something else, and called Josh Allen garbage. You've never made such a post against your own team's QB for doing the same, even worse, and avoided acknowledging it.

What you did was trolling and there is no room on this board for that from an opposing team's fan.

On the Pickens play, the ref closest to the play threw a bean bag, indicating fumble and therefore a catch.  Then they huddle and say incomplete.  Why was that the call on the field when the closest guy had it right in real time?

Spector seemingly recovered the ball inbounds in real time on the broadcast.  But the refs huddle and say out of bounds. Wouldn't the easier call have been the play was a fumble recovery which would be reviewed to see if it wasn't?

Feels like these "huddles" of refs may have NY in their ears as well and looking to create a more competitive game after 3/4 of the previous games had been lopsided.  Or the refs are just that terrible, hard to say.

Yes I see the head ref look down as if he’s trying to focus on what’s going thru his earpiece- New York BS

Bills need to protect the ball and win the turnover battle.

DL must rise up and be disruptive in the passing game and shut down their running game. It’s time for all the investment in the DL to pay dividends!

Hopeful everyone is available with the exception of Bernard and Dodson who realistically won’t be available.

Loved seeing a few new wrinkles from Brady with Harty and Isabella. Get them in space and let them YAC. The missed play to Isabella looked promising.

Josh needs to continue to spread the ball around and not force anything unless needed.

ST no costly mistakes and need their contributions.

Lastly, hopeful the team comes out hot, plays with intensity and discipline and the stadium shakes for 4 qtrs.

    LETS GO BUFFALO! 🦬

Dorian Williams is on the field full time. Only as a spy. Mahommes will KILL us with scrambles. I want Patty taken out

  13. Doesn’t matter.

Youre not going to beat the chiefs , ravens and niners to win a Super Bowl with glue and duct tape on D. Allen will have to play the best 3 games the world has ever seen. And zero margin for error. No turnovers or blocked kicks or kicks that look like middle school tryout !

    isn’t it interesting that all

    thes injuries are to

the D. And it’s LB and DB. Bc we run such a passive system. Soft zone. Let them catch. Run and make a tackle. Gonna take its toll.
