Well let’s play the same game with the Bills, shall we. Look at this…

    Buffalo 48 Dolphins 20

    Buffalo 31 Cowboys 10

Welp, that’s it. No other big wins against playoff contenders. No other double digit smack downs. Your “average margin of victory was 13 points” was inflated by these two games. The Ravens had more double digit wins and more dominate performances against playoff teams. Why is this so hard to understand? Take off the homer glasses, the Bills were fortunate to eke out a few of those wins against playoff contenders.

Bc their defense , special teams and coaches are sub par especially relative to the ravens!

Lamar didn’t play against the Steelers in the final regular season game, so he was 6-2. But check this out…

    Ravens 25 Texans 9

    Ravens 28 Browns 3

    Ravens 38 Lions 6

    Ravens 33 49ers 19

    Ravens 56 Dolphins 19

Optics matter. Of their 13 regular seasons wins, 9 were by double digits. Of the eight teams in NFL history that had 9 wins by double digits or more, all had made the Super Bowl and only one of those didn’t win.

The Lamar led Ravens bludgeoned teams and that’s why he’s MVP of the regular season, because he played phenomenal at times. It wasn’t because “let’s give the award to him because he’s Black.” I’m surprised so many of you agreed with that take.

Looks like a dominant BAL D. Wonder what the turnover profile was in those games. How many short fields BAL get?

Niners game Lamar had 2 wow plays. He also had a laughable safety / grounding call that doesn’t show up in the stats. Purdy threw up 4 times and they had 3 short fields. Other int was in the red zone

I disagree actually. I think he’s generally well liked.

But the general attitude toward the Bills is that they are good and sometimes great, but destined to choke. I think we’re viewed as a good team now, but in the end we’re still losers.

Josh is living under Mahomes shadow. It’s going to be this way until the Bills win a Super Bowl. Why would the media spend time liking Josh when then could be giving that attention to other people and teams who don’t have legendary choke jobs and honestly a kind of cursed vibe attached to them.

Those are obviously not my feelings toward Josh and the team, but I do believe it’s how a lot of other people view him and the team. It doesn’t matter how many incredible moments he has because in the end they come up short and it’s pointless and painful.

Welll. On social media. Especially twitter. Josh Allen is hated. It’s incredible. And unfortunately the media and the 50 all pro voters all exist now in the twitter space…. And that’s why the race thing is fair to bring up for multiple reasons.

Projected free agent contract is $16.5M/yr.

Do feel good about paying that to a safety?

Also, he plays strong safety, which what Poyer plays. We need a free safety. Very similar positions, but not the same.

Yup. Should have been drafting replacement future serviceable starters depth players last two years.

i DO not understand the shorter wr pick in the 4th round ! Or the tenuta OL pick. Shorter is NoT going to turn into anything. Not even special teams.

    really

needed to draft a young safety or DL w some of those late picks.

Rewording this for you.  He's a cheater.  He wants to leave the NCAA investigations and punishments because he's also not an idiot.

Correct. Can’t stand him. He’s a sociopath. And he’s getting weirder and weirder.

The recent Michigan success - so what ? He can out recruit and get alumni to shell out money . I know I know. His resume is amazing.

He did not play his best on Sunday, no doubt. And last year he didn't either but he was hurt and playing with one arm. But he is one of our best players, he has had a great year and the famous 13 second game he was probably our best defensive player and was in Mahomes's face a lot.

Saying he is an average rotational player because of one disappointing game and one game where he was playing with one arm is ridiculous.

I’ll go back and watch him in 13 seconds.

its not just ONE bad game.  He had a great season. Sometimes starters in the nfl have great performance and even multiple within one season.

That doesn’t mean he’s a great player, All pro, Game wrecker. And that’s what he needed to be at pick 9. Were what 5-6 years in?

Utter, utter nonsense. That isn't ball. It's trash.

Oliver had 1 assisted tackle in the biggest game of the year. Before you say “well you can’t just look at box score.” Ok sure. I watched the game. I watched Oliver. Once again it looked like Cincy game last year where he gets OWNED in run game.

so fine he’s a penetrating rusher. Where’s he affect the qb when it matters most ?

You have minimal credibility after the average rotational comment. You know average doesn’t get 10 sacks as a tackle and top 10 in QB pressures. 35 individual tackles. Our defense was clueless as a unit giving up 27 points on 47 total offensive snaps. You want to blame Oliver for KC having receivers wide open all night or runs that looked like no one wanted to tackle anybody. There was AJ Klein at MLB and and the rookie Willams also defending the run. The Defensive coach also made no adjustments. “ His short arms / can’t get off blocks “ and his rushes are undisciplined “. These are the comments of someone who knows short arms when he sees them on TV and is an acknowledged authority on disciplined rushing. Forgetting about the other tackles and edge rushers getting stoned by O-lines, in your expert judgment it’s because of Oliver. Red hots like you shouldn’t be allowed to post.

Seems like you just have an issue with me. I’m talking ball. Oliver is an average to above average rotational player

Bengals are done. Burrow is done. He’s GLASS. Now that they have to start paying people, which their owner doesn’t do, that team is going to circle into mediocrity.

He ain’t done. Unless his wrist he hurt was his throwing hand

Easy to second guess draft choices. Oliver was a good pick as evidenced by the year he had after he got paid. Lack of speed on defense has a lot to do with injuries. With Milano, Rousseau, Bernard, Miller, and Tre White there’s enough speed. Williams is a draft that will pay dividends the next few seasons. You neglect to mention Shakir, Kincaid with a trade, Cook and a guard that played every play this season. Miller, White and Diggs contracts will be a problem when Josh explodes but you can’t take big swings if you’re afraid of injuries. You also neglected to mention the Douglas acquisition which helped win 6 straight.

    Ed

oliver is still an average rotational player to me. Wow he showed up vs the chargers!

    color me impressed !

he didn’t make any play vs kc. He’s weak

agaisnt the run. His short arms / can’t get off blocks. And his rush is undisciplined more often than not and our d gets burned by the qb bc of it

Benford, Dane Jackson, Cam Lewis, Bernard all performed in select situations (and failed in others) when required...its called developing.

Elam spent most of the year on IR with by all accounts was debilitating foot injury. This impacted him as far back as training camp.  He was neck and neck with Benford their rookie year.

Shakir developed through hard off-season work with Moulds, and just FYI, there is this thing called game planning - he got significant chances under Brady that maybe Dorsey didn't scheme to....

This staff has an eye for talent at certain positions.  If you want to dispute that and say they are trash fine..but I don't share that opinion.

Like Leonard Floyd and D'Quan Jones

nope not ever once did i say they were bad or not having an eye for talent. IMO there is MAJOR disconnect on draft day and how it plays out on GAME DAY
