think the announcers are going to hear about this game from the NFL - REALLY making it a point about what they think is an isnt a penalty, fine, or suspension. just call the game

Gameday Thread Bills vs Saints 2nd Half
balln replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
i know its a bad drop. but 3 and 13 the ball CAN NOT go to clay at 5 yards down by 21. it just cant. put nate in -
Please draft Hogan from Stanford. He is unquestionably the best pro prospect - most consistent performance of any college qb and winner. Also he has andrew luck athletiscm. Shocked but happy he doesn't get talked about

Gilmore Injury Updates: Placed on IR
balln replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
As an orthopedic surgeon - an acute shoulder dislocation is not a good injury. In a young male athlete is almost always associated with a rotator cuff tear or worse a bone impaction injury that can lead to more dislocations... If it is a true shoulder dislocation he will be placed on IR. A shoulder separation is an AC joint (its not really the shoulder) injury and is generally 4 weeks or less to recover -
Cordarrelle Patterson - WR - Tennessee

Warrick was 5' 11" and that was 13 years ago. College coaching and passing game is so much more refined now. -
Cordarrelle Patterson - WR - Tennessee

This guy looks dominant. And does it in SEC. Big 6'3" 200+. Fast. Looks like Julio Jones - I think he looks better than Julio did in college. His speed and cuts remind me of .... Spiller a little bit - in the way they were head and shoulders above the competition at the collegiate level. This guy is WORTH 8 overall! But watch the video and see for your self. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sqzag6BTqS0 -

So I remember this guy two years ago, and wondered what happened to him. Per PFT, Mayock says he could go #1. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/02/23/mayock-combine-may-put-robert-quinn-in-mix-for-no-1-overall-pick/ And here is the impressive highlight vid. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UuKdkjZf5uk He looks great, big, fast, plays the run well, has some pass rush moves. This leaves Quinn, Fairley, or Newton in play at #3 - depending on who takes who ahead of the bills. Another good possibility is that the Bills will have leverage to trade (3 awesome talents). But I think they should take one of these 3.

But you didn't discredit him.

One thing was clear during this draft
balln replied to Mike in Syracuse's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't think so. In addition, I think something is clear. They all picked guys with HUGE work ethics and will improve and do everything to be better football players: Wang (parents from CHina - look at the vid on Bbills.com) Spiller (ran track to get better) Troup (high motor, really good work ethic) Carrington, Bratten, Moats (small school guys who rush the passer and high motors again) Easley (walk-on! are you kidding me runs a 4.40) Plus another thing. Most of these guys have SIZE. And besides the OTs the guys have great speed. Check their numbers. Remember Nix said long ago as a BIlls scout: "mobile, agile, hostile" -
YES MOATS!!!!!!!! See ya Maybin you just lost youre spot as DE/OLB

Drafting Wang drops WNY to a distant 2nd place
balln replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
True. But Wang's parents were Olympians. Dad was a high jumper, Mom a 110 m hurdler on the Track team. B/c he is the first Chinese (2nd generation) player in the NFL it WILL be a big deal in China. -
People stop getting fixated on the "position" of RB. In the more important "position" of playmaker we have POOR depth. He plays a little bit faster the Bush. Bush looks "flashier" on tape in college. But CJ has great moves too - football moves - just one hard cut and go.

Agree with previous post. And Russ Lande ? You mean the guy who think Crompton QB from Tenn is the 2nd best QB in the draft? And Lande thinks Crompton will be a great starting QB? Crompton is sooo bad it is not even funny. It is like hearing Tate Forcier QB from Michigan (5'11" 175) is going to be a star in the NFL. Please. Asked why Lande thinks so highly of Crompton his main reasoning was that he improved. OK so if you improved from 1/10 to a 3/10 you still suck even though you improved. Why would I take a 3/10 prospect over a 9/10 prospect? Stupid over-thinking logic

For those who wanted McNabb but don't want Campbell
balln replied to BobbyC81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not similar. McNabb threw 2 more TD's, 5 less INTs, took 8 less sacks. And W-L is drastically different. -
Uhh #28 out of 32 is not mid round. That is late first round. He was projected to go there or early second round. He is your best OL'man. It is a bout building a team. You can't take only certain positions based on what round it is. Take good players period.

UPDATED: Tim Tebow, QB, Denver Broncos
balln replied to Kingfish's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Kerry Collins has really really solid mechanics throwing a football. High elbow. Over the top. Perfect release/spiral. "Hitch" - that is Tebow or Byron Leftwich. Also led Giants to a Super Bowl appearance. And a 13-3 Titans record last season when he was mad old. -
With our new GM wanting a big, rough team
balln replied to scribo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Where are you getting your OP from? Nix never said he wanted a big rough team in his press conference. -
Ok Marv was a HC, never had 30 years of scouting/assistant GM experience like Nix. Levy came in to hire the HC for Ralph. He might have had some kind of role in supervising picks - but he wasnt evaluating and making picks. Don't compare the two. I mostly agree with your other points.

Dude are you watching the game? Their kicker and punter are hurt. They are using a D-lineman to kickoff. -

I don't know what you're referencing. Do better. Their O-line doesn't block anyone.
