"Think the Rams would notice if the Bills swapped him out for Beasley?"

Is handing the ball to Perine on 3rd and 1 the worst Super Bowl play call in recent history?
Not handing the ball off to Marshawn Lynch on 1st and goal was way worse.

They stole Daboll's red zone playbook.

you mean honoring!
Every Bills game I attended, going back to 1980, the parking lot always, reminded me of an invading horde preparing for battle. The drinking of meade, the eating of meat, gathered round campfires growling, yelling, waving their banners.
Awesomeness to the max.

It was that way.

I am not excited. However, I am pleased that I can watch the game without rooting for one of the teams to lose.

If Josh Allen hadn't slipped on 4th down against the Titans, it would all have been ours.
If we hadn't played one of the stupidest games I have ever witnessed in jacksonville, we are home against KC.
6 minutes ago, dorquemada said:There's a huge difference playing KC in the playoffs in Buffalo, and playing them in KC. Only a complete and utter moron would think otherwise. The Bills have to take care of business during the regular season, win the close games, and get home field. The fact that they can't close out those games seems to offer a lot of predictive value for the playoffs
100%. 2022 regular season has us playing Titans (H) and Chiefs (A). Hard money says we will meet one or both of those teams in the playoffs. Much prefer playing them at home.
1 hour ago, Freddie's Dead said:#1 seed is meaningless. We had them beat. Away. Not at home. AND WE LET 'EM OFF THE HOOK.
Hard to argue with that.

I am in favor of drafting a faster corner and wide receiver in our first two picks.

Which is why I would think Rodgers would want to stay in the NFC, since it'll be a lot easier to get to another SB?
I guess we'll find out soon enough...
That's a very good point. The only variable is how big is Roger's ego?

I spend a lot of time after losses like Sunday rationalizing, but this kind of gives me some hope. I think the Rams can win it all this year & be the primary contender in the NFC for another year or 2, but w/ Brees gone, Rogers possibly moving on, and rumors about Brady retiring - all of the other good & great QB's are in the AFC.
It reminds me of when we were getting to the SB in the '90's, and the years before & after that. Except for our 1st 2 SB's, they'd generally say that the "real" SB was the NFCCG. And they were generally right.
This could bode well for us if we figure out the KC puzzle. I'd love it if that became our toughest game every year. Not discounting Burrow & Herbert, but it just feels like KC and Buffalo will be 1a & 1b for awhile.
I'm sure I'm not the only Bills fan who rejoices in the idea of getting back to the big game, but immediately thinks, "oh, man - what if we lose a 5th"? I think the AFC is poised to start a run similar to what the NFC did in the '80's and '90's, and it's a great time to have one of the best AFC teams.
Rogers could end up in Denver with Hackett their new HC, a group of very good receivers and running back. Brady retiring or staying another year, eh. Fields might be a force with competent coaching. Will have to see where Wilson ends up and Murray has potential if he doesn't turn into a head case. Dax has the talent, but he looks to be heading down the path of a giant choker with McCarthy as his HC not helping. Poor Darnold, could have been very good, but Gase really screwed him over. Will have to see if he can ever recover.
The KC Puzzle. No puzzle, we beat them twice in the last two minutes, then let them win.
The AFC is now loaded with good young QBs. Top of the heap is Allen, then twinkle toes Mahomes, Jackson, Burrows, Herbert, Watson (if he ever gets to play again), Carr, Mayfield, Tua (with Daboll as his HC), and Tannehill bring up the rear. Then there is a crop of rookie QBs in NYJ, NE, and Jax.
The AFC does appear to be the conference to beat with all the up and coming QB talent, but the bottom line is QB's and Coaches are going to be the drivers for how competitive each conference is going to be.

If both D and O coordinators leave, promote 'what's his name' as OC and hire a DC. With all the coaches getting fired, should be one or two available.
Draft speed at CB position with #1 pick. Retain Wallace. He may not be an All Pro, but he has fought off all competition brought in to replace him, he has over 50 starts, so where are you going to find a FA CB with that experience?
Draft speed at WR position with #2 pick.
Resign Phillips, Hughes.
Draft BPA for Center/Guard with at least 2 picks in rounds 3 - 7. Fill in with LB, DE/DT, RB.

If Payton leaves NO that might be an opportunity.
Panther’s don’t have a second or third round pick.
We have a guy in NY we might do business with on a Giants team that could be blown up.
NO might be a good place to look for FA since the team is apparently 61M over budget.

Title says it all... I'm sure many guys would love a shot to play here and see what could be!!
Little positivity for our broken hearts!
I love Motor and Hughes but just imagine adding a Thurman and Bruce to this team.
I'd like a Cordarrelle Patterson, Akheim Hicks and a Von Miller/Chandler Jones
Good luck to our opponents, they'll need it!
Extended version. You can tell Olson is getting a little choked up about the decision. Wow
I was just thinking the same thing!
I think we all compare this Bills team to the Kelly teams and this team seems better in a lot of ways (Allen.) Agree with the love for Singletary and Hughes, but with all due respect, they are not Thurman and Bruce.

Lol he didn’t get run out of Cleveland, I do believe they were Baltimore when he got fired.. people forget the moron owner announced they were moving before the season.. which torpedoed the season.. the year before they went to the division round of the playoffs.. pretty sure the Owner did it so he could easily move.. (IMO the owner made it so the roster was worse..)
Belicheat benched Cleveland's favorite son, Bernie Cosar. He was his usual grating, self in his pressers. The people of Cleveland hated Belicheat when he was their HC regardless of where he was standing when he was fired

Oh, yeah. He loves the game, and he appreciates good play. We don't like him because he's brilliant, a fierce competitor, and comes off as a jerk in a lot of his press conferences.
There is a reason he was run out of Cleveland.

What year you became a Bills fan and Two Bills Drive camaraderie

1) I found out that Buffalo had a football team in 1969 when they drafted OJ Simpson. (Was a Packers fan after watching the "Ice Bowl" as my very first game on TV.)
I started following the team for real during the 1973 season. Joined TBD at the beginning of the 2009 season.
2) Watching the Van Miller Saturday afternoon Bills show recapping the previous game. OJ to the left for 4 yards. OJ to the right for 4 yards, OJ up the middle for 2 yards, first down.
3) The 1988 Season.
4) Darryl Talley, all time. Josh Allen, current.
5) Mabden = Man (from the Eternal Champion series of books)
