And yet we played two games at home to close out the season
And we played the first two games, and 5 of the first 8 games at home
-
It is result of playing the majority of the home games at the beginning of the season. IMO this is done intentionally to get a full stadium. The weather starts getting bad in November and they are usually eliminated from the playoffs by then. Its difficult to get people to the stadium for a team that is out of the playoffs especially when the weather is terrible.

The hell with foot fetish, I'm a leg man.

Another enjoyable and productive get-together. John Murphy came up before his show to just chat a bit and share his enthusiasm for this season. After every meeting one member goes on his show - I'm gonna volunteer for that (and of course plug TBD).
Some tidbits:
- They are looking for ways to entice people to get into the stadium earlier. I basically said they'd have to come up with a compelling reason for people to leave their tailgates and come in. Any suggestions any of you have along those lines would be appreciated.
Along with what has already been mentioned, the only other suggestion I have for getting fans to their seat before kickoff is to have a seat drawing. The drawing would be after the coin toss. Have the numbers drawn from a ball machine. Section, row and seat. Have a camera follow the process displaying it on the Jumbotron. When the seat number is called, if the individual with that ticket is seated, they win a significant amount of cash. $5,000 or more. If the seat is empty, no one wins and there is no other drawing for that game.

There will NEVER be a reason I'll go into the stadium earlier. They want that because they want us to spend more money. Why on earth would I put down a great beer I paid $1.50 for an buy a $9.00 warm, flat buttwiper? Downtown stadium will be the end for me if the tailgating goes away. I enjoy the "community" of it and although I enjoy the games immensely, I'll invest in a huge TV and watch from the comfort of home and avoid what are sure to be major transportation problems.
Honestly, it's this type of profit seeking attitude that drives me nuts. My taxes cover your stadium, my season tickets help pay the Bills, everyone in our group buys a least a beer and food every game and you want me to come early now. Nope.
You may be correct on only wanting more money. I hope it has to do more with the fan experience. I made it to 2 games last year. My tickets are near the isle. It is frustrating to try to watch the first 5 minutes of the game when the isles are still full from the late fans trying to take their seats.

Fred does more than run the ball. IMO, he is one of the best at protecting the QB. Did anyone see when Fred upended JJ Watt at Houston? JJ looked back at him like, who the heck was that.
I couldn't find a video of that, but here are some of my all time favorite Fred moments. Age may slow his him down a step or two, but his experience in the backfield while protecting the QB is irreplaceable.

141 carries for 525 yds 3.7 ypc. 2tds 5 yes ,5 fumbles in 141 carries. 3 fumbles 2013 5 fumbles 2012 .
Please post facts. These stats are false. Jackson had 141 Carries, 525 yds, 3.7 ypc, 0 yes 0 fumbles in 141 carries.
Brown had 36 carries for 126 yards for a 3.5 YPC, and a game loosing lost fumble. Brown's stats are not that impressive.

When you look at the talent added compared to the talent that left that contributed to the 9-7 record, barring injuries, I believe they are a better team. When you add the fact that rookie and 2nd years players should improve with experience. (For Example, Watkins, Woods, Hogan, EJ?, P. Brown, Henderson, Robey, D Williams) I think this could easily be an 11 win team. Time will tell. Go Bills

can they list the Saints in both ???
They didn't. You must have just looked at the photos.

Defending Super Bowl champs.
Bills, Jets, and Dolphins all making moves to close the gap.
This year is going to be the most competitive in recent memory.
Personally, I think the Jets have made the biggest jump so far, though they were also the farthest back.
Someone agrees with you. They have the Bills as the 5th most improved after the first week. Miami 4th, and the Jets as the most improved. They have the Pats at 2nd worst.
It should be an interesting season in the AFC East. Go Bills

I haven't had a cigarette in over a year and i STILL have the jones for them. Like now, man. I'd kill a man for a cigarette. Is this unusual?
No. It has been 5 years for me. I only have the urge about 3 to 4 times a year now. I was the same after the first year. As time goes by it gets better. Good Luck

And please tell me what exactly would make him an upgrade over Cassell
http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/stats/_/id/5615/matt-schaub
http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/stats/_/id/8644/matt-cassel
And exactly what makes you think Cassel is that much better?
-
IMO. He is an upgrade over Cassel.
-
This could be just a test to see who is interested in him. If a team wants him as their #1 pick, they would have someone contact him and tell him he might want to be there.
-
If the 4.5 Mil/Yr offer is true, things have changed at OBD. In the past, the Bills would have overpaid for a fan favorite mediocre player. I cant remember the bills making so many moves in the off-season, and it hasn't officially started yet. Renew your season tickets folks. This could be an exciting year. Go Bills

JMO. They leaked this way too soon. There is way too much time between now and 4 PM Tuesday. I honestly think there is a good chance of this not happening. How many other teams are looking at what they can give up for McCoy?
-
This is not a done deal. A lot can happen between now and next Tuesday. McCoy is not happy about the trade and is not going to make it easy.
-
I would only believe it if Foles was thrown in too.

Not that impressive in today's era. You realize that even with the K-gun, Kelly only threw the ball 28 times a game, which had to be distributed to 4-5 quality targets. Andre Reed had 951 regular season receptions in 234 games (average 4 receptions per game, for 56 yards).
In the three years in question, Fitz averaged 34 throws per game and had only one midling-quality receiver for a target. Stevie was targeted almost nine times a game, with an average of 7.1 receptions.
If Andre had those type of opportunites he would have been in the HOF on his first year of eligibility...
I agree 100%. A lot of Stevie's success during those years was because he was the best, of a god awful bunch of receivers. Reed had other quality receivers on the same team, giving Jim numerous quality targets. HOF James Lofton just to name one.

I have always thought that it has been extremely hard to evaluate the Bills QBs over the last 10 years because of horrible Offensive line play, and a group of awful receivers. Until those 2 positions are shored up, the QB carousel will keep turning.

I always thought this article was interesting. The fact that Green Bay was on there at 6% surprised me.
Fisher blew that game

I think it was a great call. Over the last 16 years that play probably gets a first down, LA goes down and scores the winning touchdown with 10 seconds left in the game, and everyone says that he pulls off another trick play against the Bills with special teams. First the Music City Miracle, and now this. I believe it's an omen, the curse started with Fisher, and it ended yesterday with Fisher. This is not the same old Bumbling Bills. ( At least that's the story i am sticking to for now)
GO BILLS!!!
