Ok ex-BBMB'er.... Watch it yourself.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iw85u5Q8NM0
Sammy had a pretty good outing that day, -And I'm no Sammy Loyalist... Start at about 2:17 of OT and go to about 2:26... Then preach your b#llsh*t about Sammy needing a new mindset...
After that go from about 2:28 of OT to right about 2:30.58 where Clay converts a nice 3rd and 8... If you watch the rest, Sammy has 3 defendders bearing down on him... Only a moron doesn't skip out of bounds at that point....
Oh look!.. -Another low, poorly thrown ball at around 2:32 from Tyrod... -Batted by Suh.... Guess that was Sammy's fault too... Lord, I wish BBMB would start back up...
Two things dumb assss!
Take a look at 4:16 left in overtime. Only a self serving primadonna steps out of bounds in that situation. No Patriot would step out of bounds under the same circumstances, or they would be looking for another job. The game often comes down to inches, he could have easily dove forward and gained a couple yards without getting hit hard. Other receivers do it all the time. Again, he did not have a first down, and it was overtime.
And another thing smart asss. Take a look how long i have been here, you stupid !@#$!!!I I have never been to BBMB
Who are you, Sammy's agent???
-
Pretty sure that isn't at all what happened. Was 154 yards 1 td not good enough for you?
Played like a 4th rounder? Jesus this board sometimes. Granted he was injured, but he plays like an elite receiver whenever he is on the field.
That's exactly what happened!! Do you actually watch these games?? When the game matter the most, he quit. At 4:16 in OT he steps out of bounds to avoid a hit instead of fighting for every foot. I don't care how many yards he had, TT had lead the Bills offense to 581 yards until that point, it obviously wasn't enough to win. But the difference between TT and your precious Sammy, is that TT never quits!!! Sammy has all the talent in the world, but no heart.
-
Sammy didn't need a new mindset... I think he needed a pair of new cleats... Perhaps a new playbook... It's TT who's mind wasn't right...
Doesn't need a new mindset? WTF? Obviously you don't watch the games. In overtime against Miami, he ran out of bounds a couple of yards short of the first down so he would have to take a hit. You don't think anything was wrong with that?
-
I was there for 3 years. There is nothing open when the games are on. If i remember correctly 2 to 3 AM Monday morning there, is Sunday at 1 PM here
-
I thought the Miami comeback could have been a turning point for Tyrod but then Rex, his prevent defense and his late timeout on the 55 yd FG too over
Lets not forget about another missed FG by Carpenter, this one in OT. He was 4 for 9 from 40-49 yards for the season. He cost the Bills more than 1 loss.

Test balloons leaked from Whaley and/or Russ.
I for one approve! Let's do it!
I was thinking its the Cowboys, or Romo's agent trying to create false interest in an old, broken down QB.
-
30th in passing. You're the troll Let give him 30 mil because we are emotional and he played one good game to end the season. Just forget about the Balt/Pitt/Oak/Ne2/Mia/Bengals games. They won't happen again huh ?
Cam newton last year. Matt Ryan this year.
They had the fewest passing attempts in the NFL. He is not responsible for the play selection.
-
How about pictures of random, obscure Bills players since the drought - and we'd have to guess who they were.
To bad it couldn't be a video. Ohh the good old days.
-
Put up Tom Brady? Let the curse be upon him!!!
-
I think it will be interesting to see what TT could do with a different coach.
-
Nope.
http://www.espn.com/nfl/playbyplay?gameId=400874489
2nd and 9, gain of 7 (but if you watch the play it was a bit more)
So it was then 3rd and 2 (actually 1-1/2).
No need to apologize for being wrong (or for being childish with the name-calling).
More like 2 1/2. either way. Your 1 foot is bull ****!!!.

Pats offense calls for sure handed, precise route runners. Enter Hogan.perfect for the Pats winning system as a 2nd or 3rd receiver.
I don't think Belicheck wants a bunch of spectacular WRs unless they run perfect routes.Of course he would take a Jerry Rice but he is perfectly happy with the Bobby Chandlers and Fred Biletnikoffs of the world.
I agree, another thing they look for are players who will do anything to win. Players who hate loosing more than they like winning. It shows on the field at the end of the game, when will prevails over talent.
-
Oh stop, it was 2nd down and he trusted his team to get a 1st down on 3rd and a foot.
The guy has played through injuries for much of 3 seasons. He's not a kitty.
it was 3rd and 3 dumb ass!!!!!
-
Watkins is awesome. Next year he will be healthy and halfrod will be gone and it's on like a mofo.
If you think Hogan is better, Delete your account too.
Watkins is a !@#$ing kitty!!!. In a must win game, in overtime, that kitty steps out of bounds without the first down to avoid contact. I cant believe people defend that gutless, selfish, POS!!!

Roethlisberger is always paired with a great defense when his team's make a run. Manning with Denver last year was just awful.
And Elway leaned on a 2000 yard rusher - and also had a very good defense. I mean jeeze, he threw for 123 yards and a pick in the 97 super bowl! The next year they pretty much destroyed the whole league with that defense and davis. Not to mention having a HOF TE, Rod Smith, and McCaffrey.
When Polamalu was in his prime, he was amazing. He could and would take over a game on his own. I cant remember how many times he would get an interception or force a fumble as the other team was about to take the lead late in the game. I was at the infamous Stevie drop. But before that, with a couple of minutes left, Buffalo was driving and looked like they were about to take the lead with a TD. They got within 15 yards of the goal line when Troy made the pick. I think I counted about 6 wins that Pittsburgh got that year because of Polamalu. You need one or two of those types of players that can take over a game, and it doesn't have to be the QB. Unfortunately, the Bills don't have one. I was hoping that Sammy could be that guy. But when he stepped out of bounds without having a first down, in overtime, in a must win game, I am thinking now that he will not be that guy.

An old friend is a big KC fan. Every year we wager $100 on who ends up being ranked higher in the Conference between them and the Bills. Another 50 if they play head to head. I am tired of sending him a check every year, this year I am claiming him on my taxes. So I am going for the Steelers. But then again, every team I root for looses, maybe I should root for the Chiefs if I want the Steelers to win.
-
The Bills went 6-10 and then went 9-7 after dropping Fitz. And we played a terrible EJ and Kyle Orton.
Maybe because the Defense went from #18 in the league in points allowed, to #3. Since the offensive points per game were almost identical between those years, i think its safe to say that the QB play had nothing to do with the better record.
-
as much as I hate julian analman, even he would have fought for the yard, that play was some kitty ****
I still love Sam I Am though
Hell, he could have stretched out and dove and got real close to the marker without taking a hit. Then it would have been third and one. The O line was dominating, and if they didn't make it on the first try, Rex probably goes for it then, instead of punting and sealing his fate.
-
LMAO is Dawkins gonna coach our DBs? As long as its as an assistant that would be cool. Still think we missed out by letting Donnie walk, all of our younger CBs regressed.
I would disagree with you....but that 2nd down and Pu$$y play really pissed me off. SMH....thats a play where a player like Andre Reed, Hines Ward, Wes Welker or Larry Fitzgerald would have pushed through for the 1st.
I think we are talking about the same play. Buffalo was at their own 33, 2nd and 10. There is 4;19 left in OT. Sammy catches the ball on the left side of the field, takes it up field to the 40 and steps out of bounds to avoid contact after gaining 7 yards.
-
Screw Sammy, he walks out of bonds without having the first down in overtime against Miami. He is gutless and part of the problem. He is more concerned about himself than the team. He has talent, just to self centered.
-
what about the defense being unclutch? the defense has got to keep you in games in order to give tyrod the chance to win. houston's defense yesterday kept them in that game but brock just couldn't score.
a big comparison to tyrod is russell wilson. this year he had 4 comebacks in the 4th...
12-10 against miami(i wish our defense could hold miami to 10 points and where was russell the first 3 guarters scoring 6 points),
atl they won 26-24 but again the defense held atl to 24 points which is 10 below their season average and held atl to 0 4th quarter points,
arizona they tied 6-6 where he scored 3 points in regulation and the other 3 in ot. we would implode if tyrod scored 3 points in regulation
ne- they won 31-24...defense held brady to 3 points in the 4th quarter. wilson scored 9. but again holding brady to 24 points will give you a shot to win almost every time.
I agree, as i stated previously. The defense was terrible at stopping the other team and giving the ball back to the offense. According to (pro-football-reference)The Bills offense only had 177 drives, tying them for 25 and 26th least amount of drives in the league. They were the 9th most efficient offence in the NFL. Scoring 2.14 points per drive. And they could have been even more efficient if Carpenter didn't suck. Carpenter was the worst in the NFL, he only made 4 of 9 attempts from 40-49 yards out and was 40 of 45 on extra points. Bring those into NFL averages and he makes 3 extra Field goals and 3 more extra points giving the offense an extra 12 points for the season with an average FG kicker, This would turn the 2.14 points per drive into 2.22 points per drive, moving them to 7th in the NFL in points per Drive. Now lets say the Defense can be top 10. The 10th best defense at getting the ball back into the hands of their offense was 193 (three way tie for 10th 11th and 12th, PIT, CAR, LA. ) Using the 2.21 average per drive and they would have scored an extra 35 points this season. They scored 399 points tying them with PIT for 10th and 11th. 399 +12 (For and average FG Kicker)+ 35 (for a top 10 defense) and the offence could have conceivably scored 446 points, or 27.9 points a game, for 3rd highest scoring offense in the NFL. So, after all that, it is my opinion that they need to focus on defense and a FG kicker, this would help the offense score more points. I believe there is still upside to TT. Any marginal improvement would make an even grater impact on the offence scoring points. Then add that a top 10 defense would also allow the opposing offense to score fewer points, and we should have not just a playoff team, but one that could go deep in the playoffs. I would love to see TT improve, but i honestly think that the Bills can win with him.
-
Yes I am. I think there's a big psychological facet to the NFL game. Granted, the defense was an anchor drag to this team during the season no doubt. But that game turned on a dime when Taylor showed he had nothing. I like Taylor, but I think he is missing a key element to his game and that's closing the deal against good teams.
BTW, nothing said on this board will have any impact to the decision Whaley and McDermott will make. If they bring him back then I'll just hope he can up his game against good teams. Because there'll be a lot of them next year. Their schedule looks brutal.
And I thought Woods was !@#$ing Crazy!!
-
Exactly. Not only that, the offense usually had to go the whole length of the field. We didnt get many turnovers or long returns. Our special teams were bad. We scored two defensive TDs, the lowest in the league. We had a ridiculous rash of injuries to WR.
People always bring up that TT is terrible in the 2 minute drive, not one has given any statistical data to support such claim. It would be an interesting statistic. I honestly don't remember too may times the defense stopped the opposing offense with 2 minutes on the clock, giving TT an opportunity to win the game. The only one i can remember is the Seattle game, and on the final play of that game, Woods quits on the play, hell he wasn't even looking at the ball when it was coming at him.
-
That's ridiculous. We win 10-11 games this year with any decent defense and TT playing exactly as he did.
I agree with you. Here is an interesting thought. If the Defense got more 3 and outs, it would've given the offense more drives, thus more drives for the offense and more points scored. What an amazing concept. The Bills averaged 2.14 points scored per drive. That put them 9th in the NFL, but they only ranked 24th in the NFL with 177 offensive drives. 6 teams made the playoffs with a lower points scored per drive.
My main reason for feeling optimistic going into 2017..
