  1. Ha! The commercial in the Cardinals game that just aired was funny. It was about the PB&J ratio and by Pepsi Zero. I have to believe they got that from the Bills KC Game "When your PB&J sandwich has a 70 to 30 peanut butter to jelly ratio; you’ve compromised enough"

On the defensive side I'm expecting a throwback from Uncle Jerry. He's gonna be in the backfield all night long.

Jerry came through in the Texans game. The Texans had the Ball deep into Bills territory after the Int. and they go for it on 4th down. Jerry deflects the pass that would've been an easy first down for the Texans. It was a momentum changer early in the game. the Bills could've easily been down 7-0 without that play.

    Go Bills!!

  3. After a 17 year playoff drought he has only taken the Bills into the playoffs 3 of his 4 complete seasons. In 2017 he took the Bills into the playoffs with TT and in 2019 he took the Bills to the playoffs with Josh Allen being a bottom tier level QB. In my opinion, he is already one of the beast coaches in Bills history. I did not know much about him when he first came to Buffalo, but I felt anything was going to be better than the clown show Rex put on.

  4. I am to blame.

When I woke up Sunday morning, the first shirt I put on was my favorite AC/DC Back in Black shirt. That is obviously black, and to top it off, I had some black sweatpants on that I had spilled mustered on, giving it a yellow streak along the side. The moment I looked at myself in the mirror, I knew we were doomed. I quickly changed into my favorite Bills sweater and blue pants, but I knew it was too late.

Sorry folks, opening day jitters for me too.

He made his fair share of "wow" plays this year. Plays that make you sit up and take notice. One of my favorite plays of his that gave me a lot of hope for his future was the 75-yard TD toss to Foster vs. Jacksonville. Kid hung in the pocket until the last possible second and let it fly. I still don't know how he get that throw off with the pocket collapsing the way it was. When I saw that play live I was like, "Doh, sack" and then you see the ball fly out of there and hit Foster perfectly in stride and he takes it in for six. Thing of beauty. Allen has a lot of positive things going for him, if he keeps putting in the work I think he's gonna be a good one. Even if we gotta live with a few erratic throws or "what the hell?" kinda plays from him, I'm all in.

Me too, one of the best throws I've seen ever.

  6. I voted no. From what has been thrown around, on the price to move up several spots, IMO is way too steep. Haven't we learned from the last time we moved up? The Bills have 5 picks in the first 65. Some teams will only get one pick in the first 65, most will only get 2. Teams are saying that this draft is deep enough that 3rd rounders could be starters. I say pick the best available and let the chips fall where they may. Why burn up most of your ammo on one player that may, or may not work out?

    Go Bills!!!

  7. You guys may want to prepare yourself for this team giving Tyrod a few more years. He has the exact type of character the management wants and his performance on the field is not that bad (despite most around here only looking at Passing yards as the measuring stick for success). We can also get him a lot cheaper than other options. At this point, I suspect we will be building around Tyrod, not looking to replace him immediately. I would be shocked if we made a push at a FA QB or traded to get to the top of the draft for a blue chipper.

I agree. Look at Alex Smith this year, he is 33, on his 12th season, and putting up great numbers, His seasons in the past were much like TT's. Those who think that a QB cant get any better after starting only 2 1/2 seasons are crazy. QBs often mentions that it takes a lot of game time experience for the game to slow down for them. I believe in a couple of years, all this talk of getting a franchise QB will be mute, TT will be the franchise QB we have been waiting for. Time will tell.

    Go Bills!!!

  8. When I saw the headline of the thread, I just chuckled out loud. I mean I'm glad we're 3-1, but let's not kid ourselves, that's on the defense & our clutch kicker for the most part. Watching our offense rarely makes me think "I like what I see." We're once again abysmal through the air, ranked 31st in passing at the bottom of the league like last season, and our run game isn't as consistent or threatening as it used to be.

Our leader in receptions is our TE, followed by our RB. Our 2nd round "sure-hands" WR is averaging 1 catch a game. Our O-line can't pass protect, Tyrod is getting happy feet more quickly than ever, and he overthrows wide open guys a couple times a game, or he simply doesn't see them as he doesn't look beyond his 1st read before he takes off running. Last week he had that one TD pass where he looked through his progressions, remained calm, and hit the open guy in the end-zone & looked fantastic! If only he was more patient like that, coupled with our line being able to block in similar fashion, I could definitely say "I like what I see" from this offense.

Sadly, it looks pretty inept most of the time. I would just like for once to be confident on 3rd & 4 or even 3rd & 8 that we can come away with that conversion. It just seems like if we ever get to 3rd down, I'm more confident we're just going to be punting the next play.

I would have to disagree on the 3rd down conversions. I would argue that being tied for 12th best in 3rd down efficiency is hardly inept.

I am in the camp that thinks the offence has done mostly what its been asked told to do, take care of the football (obnoxiously taking care of the football). I believe that the game plan is to ride the strength of the defense, until they cant. I don't think they have yet been down more than 6 points in a game. As long as they are within a score, it think it will be boring football. Just like when they have the lead, the goal is to not make it easy for the other team by turning the ball over in your own end of the field. If you'd like to see TT drop back for a pass more than once in a 3 down series, your not going to like it. I have seen times where they will be a little more risky, and when they have been, they are usually effective at moving the ball. I will hold my criticism of the offence on what they can, or cannot do, until they are down a couple of scores.
