I am a Bill's fan, not a SJ fan. I was at the Pittsburgh game; the Bills should have won that game. I can recall many dropped passes in clutch moments by SJ. Often, one play will decide the winner. More often than not, SJ can’t make that deciding play. We need a #1 receiver who can make that play. I can’t recall him ever making a spectacular catch when the game is on the line. The Bills passing offence has been horrible for a long time. Many blame the QB; I remember many on this board saying that Evens will tear it up when he gets a real QB. He couldn’t make Jacksonville's team 2 years later. (We all know why the Ravens released him) I think there is a good chance SJ will have the same fate. Everyone wants to blame the QB in the passing game. It takes pass protection, good receivers and a quarterback that can deliver the ball. Jim Kelly was fortunate; he had a good offensive line, two Hall of fame receivers and one of the fastest receivers in the league as his #3. IMO Don Beebe was better than any #1 receivers we have had in the last 10 years. Keep SJ as the #1 and we keep losing.

I believe In EJ. For a rookie, I liked what little i saw of him last year. I think he will progress this season as the game slows down for him.
It was fun watching the Bills games last season. There was not one game where i turned the TV off at half time to go out and beat the dog. (JK about beating the dog) This year, i think the team turns the corner and is fighting for a playoff spot on the last game of the season.
GO BILLS!!!

I wished Buffalo could have signed Jairus, but the price would have been too high. I believe the Bills made a good decision. Jarius missed the first 5 games of the season, giving a good sample of games to compare the bills pass defense with him and without him.
Combined opponents QB stats Without Jarius (5 games)....106-197 54% ,1307 yards, YPA 6.6, YPG 261, 9 INT, 9TD . QBR 70.8 , 2 wins 3 losses
Combined opponents QB stats With Jarius (11 Games)......204-364 56%, 1964 yards, YPA 5.4, YPG 178 14 INT,19TD. QBR 72.6% 4 wins 7 losses
I do not see any improvement when he returned that justified the money he was asking. The plan they had last year to replace him produced similar results they got with him. JMO

It's a good thing Nick Foles didn't play his rookie year with Buffalo. With his rookie year stats, the fans would have ran him out of town. He is having a great year.

Give Marrone and company time. This year, the rookie draft class contributed the most of any rookie class I can remember.

It is easy to say fire Marrone. The real question is, who would come to buffalo to replace him?
No proven, quality coach would ever come to the city of Buffalo. No matter how much the paycheck is.

Buffalo's offense has done this while playing some of the best defenses in the NFL when ranked by points allowed per game average. Carolina 2nd allowing 13.6 PPG, New England 4th 16.2 PPG, Bengals 7th 18.5 PPG, Browns 11th 20.8 PPG, Ravens 13th 21.5 PPG, Jets 15th 22.5 PPG.

It has Aaron Corp as the best undrafted QB.

I think it is too early to judge his future performance. The man has never gone through training camp as the #1 QB. I think he will improve next year.
I do agree his deep ball sucks. He under throws about 90% of the time. I do not recall him hitting a receiver in stride that led to a long TD pass.

Could not pass this one up.
Rumor: (per Chris Wesseling of nfl.com) Stevie Johnson on the trading

Yeah, Don Beebe never dropped a pass. And Kelly = Fitz.
That's my point. SJ is nothing more than a real #3 receiver. The past several years, he was the best of an awful group.
Bills receivers from 2010, 2011 to 2012 seasons, and where they are now. I left out the worst of the worst…. Impressive list of wide receivers
SJ- 2013 Bills 597 Yards
TJ- 2013 Bills- 361 Yards
David Nelson- 2013 Jets 423 yards
Dorin Dickerson- 2013 Lions 34 Yards
Naaman Roosevelt- No Longer In NFL
Derek Hagan- No Longer In NFL
Roscoe Parrish- No Longer In NFL
Lee Evens- No Longer In NFL
Ruvell Martin- No Longer In NFL
Donald Jones- No Longer In NFL
Just for Fun…. With the #41 pick in the 2008 NFL draft the Bills select James Hardy
