  1. should be a great game. Hopefully the Cowboys continue to attempt to throw in on 3rd and short. wtf was up with that tonight??
  2. the Nerf screamer....what a classic. Loved that one. Although as a kid, the thing that made it scream could hurt you when catching it sometimes. RIP to Mr. Cox. As someone else said, he deserves some mention in the NFL Hall of Fame. The Nerf was/is a huge contribution to the game.
  3. Thomas has been a beast. Could be the NFL MVP, if that ever went to a WR. Dominates game in and out.
  4. It's really a terrible play from Garrett, IMO. It's demonstrably false given that it was just stated now, and none of the Steeler's players, including Pouncy, back this up. You think Pouncy goes as bizzark on Garrett if Rudolph used a racial slur? Nope. I hope the NFL ADDS to Garrett's suspension for making up such a serious accusation.
  5. I think Ford plays Guard next season. Right now, he's what we have. Will be interesting to see what help they give him against Miller. I'd try Bates at RT also. That, or a draft pick/FA could be the solution.
  6. Brown has been a stud. Esp. considering that he is likely drawing significant coverage from the other teams secondary.
  7. prob a good theory. But I'd imagine this has happened to Singletary since HS and it's unlikely to effect him. this is a very good point. They seem to be playing better as the season goes on. Flores has done a good job with a team that is missing talent in key areas.
  8. the Dolphins moved the ball last week. I see Sutton having a game comparable to Parker. Denver has 2 good RB's. Philly moved the ball on us all day with 2 good RB's. I don't think the offense can be taken lightly. But I think we agree, the Bills show up in Q1, we'll be fine. if we don't take care of the ball, that D could give their O short fields to work with. They have enough on O to put up points, esp. with a short field. I still think we win, but it won't be a blowout.
  9. Win the Division next year. It's still there for the taking. The Pats should be going on a downward trend!
  10. Well, everything is arguable, technically :). Even so, his stats this year and disruption on a worse line than Donald have been impressive. 2nd most sacks for a DT (1 behind Donald). And Phillips I would imagine has seen fewer plays than Donald. Not saying he's Donald, but the guy is a legit top 10 DT. http://www.nfl.com/stats/categorystats?tabSeq=0&statisticCategory=SACKS&conference=null&season=2019&seasonType=REG
  11. I think we can't afford to start out slow. Minny has the O to make up a huge deficit. We don't have that type of O. If we play our top game all game, we get a close win. Denver will move the ball, we need to prevent TD's and FG. Special teams is likely important to pin them back and let the D pressure a young QB.
  12. very impressive given that we have no big WR, and a 2nd year QB. Many on that list have pro-bowl QB's. Get a big athletic WR to pair with Brown and Beasly and the whole passing offense should improve. Brown also had great tracking on the TD yesterday where the ball was tipped and he still caught it.
  13. dude is having arguably a better year than Aaron Donald. Yes, extend him ASAP. He could be the next Lorenzo Alexander find.
  14. with decent play calling the Falcons beat NE.
  15. I've never understood this, and it seems to come from the old-school coaching mentality. It's a total cut the nose off to spite the face move. Esp. when you HURT the team by sitting the better player. Unless you have a moron in there, any player who fumbles does not need to sit and think about "gee, I can't do that again" to get it.
  16. true, but doesn't seem very process oriented. Should be playing the best players. That would be Sweeney and Duke over Kroft.
  17. same here. We all want the Bills to win. Allen played very well today, but I'm not saying I've seen much improvement in year 2. More games like this against better opponents will change my mind, and I hope they happen!
  18. this is spot on. If Garrett does not go so crazy that he made Burfect look like gentleman of the year, no one is even talking about Rudolph's unsportsmanlike penalty here.
  19. Wrong. Garrett's reaction is what led to the brawl. What Rudolph did in reaction to Garrett's late his is a common post-scuffle 15 yard penalty, fine at most. Garrett is the one who escalated the situation.
  20. Again, Rudolph didn't get "nothing." He likely gets a fine, which is the standard (at most) for a common post-whistle scuffle. Saying, "That QB provoked me" is totally inexcusable for what Garrett did. If Garrett does not implode, Rudolph gets nothing, just a 15 yard penalty. Why should he get more because Garrett reacted inappropriately. ?
  21. clearly you didn't read the NFL letter. It said others would be disciplined. Rudolph will likely get a fine.
  22. Garrett's suspension sounds right. Pouncy's is way too long. 1 game is likely what happens here, esp. with current and former players agreeing with his actions, although the kicking the head, I'm fine with 3 games. But I see it getting reduced to 1. The guy who shoved Rudolph after Garrett assaulted Rudolph should have received 3 games. He blindside shoved him. Rudolph was not even engaged with him or anyone at that point.
  23. Garrett's suspension sounds right. Pouncy's likely will be reduced. 1 game is likely what happens here, esp. with current and former players agreeing with his actions, although the kicking the head, I'm fine with 3 games. 24. Garrett will be gone for the season. I don't think this would have happened originally, but the number of current and former NFL players publicly stating that he should be gone for the season will give the NFL a huge black eye should they do anything less. Pouncy likely gets 1 game. Most current and former NFL players were in agreement that they would have done something similar. Not a good look though. Rudolph getting suspended is ridiculous. (1) he didn't "start it," (2) the shoving between him and Garrett was the usual 15 yard post-whistle stuff until Garrett escalated it.
